Juliana was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning, she brought such warmth, creativity, and professionalism to the process. She made a genuine effor...
t to understand who we are as a couple, what we cared about most, and the feeling we hoped our day would have.
That care is evident in every photograph. Rather than simply documenting the day, Juliana captured the personality, emotion, and small in-between moments that made it ours. Her eye for composition and detail is remarkable, and the finished gallery feels both beautifully polished and completely authentic to us.
Just as importantly, working with Juliana was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Every interaction—from our first conversation to receiving the preview images—felt personal, organized, encouraging, and collaborative. She brought calm, positive energy and helped us feel confident that our vision was in capable hands.
If you are looking for a photographer who is not only extraordinarily skilled but also a true partner throughout the wedding process, we could not recommend Juliana more highly.
If you're looking for an elopement photographer, Juliana is the one! She is absolutely amazing. From the moment we met her, she has this calm and welcoming nature.

nnected, we had no real plan for our elopement, but Juliana had so many ideas based on our interests and vision. During the planning process, we ran into a few obstacles due to circumstances beyond our control. Each time, she was quick to offer solutions that ended up being even better than we imagined.
Juliana was incredibly thorough in planning our special day, making sure we understood how everything would flow. We were definitely nervous, but she made us feel completely comfortable and made the day so easy and enjoyable.
We received a sneak peek just 2–3 days after our elopement, and the photos were absolutely stunning!!!! We immediately shared them with our family and friends, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were.
Overall, we are so grateful and appreciative for Juliana and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible elopement photographer.
We absolutely loved working with Juliana - would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to do a smaller wedding or elopement. We hired her for 8 hours, which covered a small private ...
family-only ceremony, photos in the Georgetown neighborhood, and a dinner with ~50 friends & family.
We got our sneak peeks back within just 2 business days and they were gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. They perfectly captured the vibe we were going for and felt very authentic to us.
Plus, you don't just get an amazing photographer, but you also get a thoughtful, detailed planner and thought partner! We knew we wanted to do something small and intimate but hadn't figured out all the details. Juliana worked with us along the way to brainstorm locations and schedule out the day. A few examples of how she went above and beyond:
- We pivoted the month before our ceremony between two locations and she very easily rolled with the changes and adapted our schedule by the next day.
- Our ceremony was slated to happen around the government shutdown and she proactively reached out to recommend that we get our marriage license squared away early, saving us a potential hiccup.
- She recommended scheduling in a break during the day between photos and dinner, and that ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day! We would not have thought to do it otherwise but it was so great to get some quiet alone time and recharge before dinner with friends & family.
And, she's fun to work with! She kept us at ease and relaxed the whole day (and in the lead-up to the day), which definitely helped with capturing authentic photos and moments.
Juliana did a wonderful job with our DC elopement! She helped plan everything from beginning to end and was incredibly professional. Would book again!
Juliana is an absolute powerhouse of talent, warmth, and magic. Hiring her to photograph our elopement in DC was hands-down one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we co...
nnected, she was more than a photographer—she became a guide, a planner, a hype woman, and a calm, grounding presence in the middle of a wildly emotional day.
She helped us plan locations, gave genuinely thoughtful and creative suggestions, and made sure everything flowed naturally. She just got us—what we wanted, how we wanted to feel, and how to make it all come to life. And then, when the day came, she made us feel like absolute royalty. Not in a stiff, staged way—but in a deeply personal, joyful, honest way that brought out the best in both of us.
And the photos? STUNNING. Every single image is filled with so much heart and intention. She caught all the little in-between moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the best day of our lives, moment by moment, but somehow even better.
Juliana is pure gold. She's not just capturing photos—she’s capturing emotion, energy, connection, and memories you’ll cherish forever. We feel endlessly lucky to have had her as part of our day. If you're even thinking about booking her, do it. Just do it. You will thank yourself a thousand times over.

le photo. From the intimate details to the big, unforgettable moments, her ability to tell our story through her lens is unmatched.
She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and helped us stay relaxed throughout the day. Her creativity, professionalism, and passion for her work made the experience even more special.
We are beyond thrilled with the results and can’t stop looking through our wedding gallery. These photos are treasures we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to perfectly plan out and capture your day, Juliana is your girl. She is truly one of a kind! Thank you, Juliana!!!

oot. From responding to messages REAL quick, to offering thoughtful outfit and location guidance based on our needs and preferences, to giving us a little bit more of her time to make sure we got every shot we wanted, we could not be more impressed with her as a business owner and photographer. She really took the time to get to know us, both as individuals and as a couple, to make sure she really captured who we are in her photos... as an elopement photographer, she is able to focus on YOU, rather than managing the chaos of a large wedding. During the shoot, she was really patient with us as we overcame the awkwardness of doing a photoshoot as people who are not naturally inclined to thrive in that setting 😂. She also fully embraced our dog and beautifully captured his personality and our love for him. She guided us through a variety of poses and set-ups, so we had a TON of options to choose from. No two photos were alike... Juliana's amazing work has made it incredibly difficult for us to pick which photos to use on our announcements and in gifts for family. It's a great problem to have! We are so happy with this experience and would (and will) absolutely recommend Juliana to anyone looking for a photographer in the DMV.
Spark notes: book her immediately.

ir calling. She is caring, passionate, and easy-going during a potentially not so easy going time. I’m not someone who enjoys being in front of a camera. I was tempted to have a court wedding and just go thru the motions. But the one thing I’ve always wanted were epic elopement photos with my now husband. I wanted to go on an adventure with my best friend and just happen to be in a white dress. I found Juliana pretty easily as her style and talent stood above the rest for me. I was never really nervous about the process because it was easy to trust her. She is extremely intelligent, meticulous, and prepared for anything. Thank goodness we found her. Admittedly I could still use some work practicing how to laugh in a pretty way, but she captured such pure moments. No matter how many chins I may have had in the photos, you can’t unsee the joy. The photos brought tears to my eyes and I’m really not one to be very emotional. I felt like I made a friend during the process as well. Juliana has an amazing soul and it is no doubt this is her calling. Ask her questions, be curious, tell her what you’re looking for because she will make it happen. My entire family is raving about how gorgeous the photos are. So please, if you ever for once want to take a stranger’s advice on the internet, at least shoot Juliana a message. She will shock you in ways you never thought. To Juliana: David and I are deeply thankful for what you did for us. We appreciate you more than we can put into words. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

anted to make a whole day out of going around the city taking beautiful photos. After talking with her, she was able to help us create the perfect day, including narrowing down timelines, finding amazing photo opps in the city, and securing the necessary permits. From the first conversation with her, we couldn’t help but to be filled with excitement of what was to come. On the actual day of our elopement, it didn’t feel like we just had a “photographer” following us around. From the moment she arrived, she jumped right in and was hands on with helping us every step along the way, like she was literally there helping me get dressed. Juju (my nickname instantly given to her) was such a vibe, and it felt like she was apart of the family! Not only did she make us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera, but her creative eye was able to capture angles/moments that made us fall in love all over again! Our entire day was nothing but amazing and that was largely attributed to Juliana. We were still floating on cloud 9 when we received our “sneak peaks” as there were so many beautiful images that she was able to provide within a short amount of time! We recently received our full album, again in an impressive amount of time, and I love that we’re now able to cherish a TON of absolutely stunning photos that will allow us to relive that day for the rest of our lives. If you have the opportunity to work with Juliana, my advice is to jump at the chance with no hesitation as she is an absolute gem and we’re forever thankful that we were able to experience her on one of the most wonderful days of our lives.

e our perfect day! She took the things that make us “us” and incorporated them into our day and photographs and we couldn’t be happier! We will look back on these photos for the rest of our lives and remember how happy and confident we felt! Thank you, Juliana!

photos are exactly what we wanted. I don’t love having my photo taken, but she was able to guide us through and we got a ton of photos we love.
She also went above and beyond to help us plan the timeline, stay on track the day-of, and recommend other vendors. We could not have asked for a better experience!
She is very talented. I would recommend her to anyone!

more than willing to jump at the last minute. She was so enthusiastic and helpful from the first email encounter I had with her. I felt overwhelmed and she always had a reassuring voice. She traveled over an hour to Philadelphia and made my engagement shoot vision come to life, which included walking all over South Philadelphia. Lastly, the photos – they are beautiful! I’ll cherish my wedding photos forever and Juliana was such an important part of that day, literally from morning to night. You will not regret hiring such a professional, enthusiastic, and talented photographer for your special day.

er!!! I am not great at being in candid, planned photos - but she made the whole shoot feel so natural and like I said - they all came out amazing!!! Would recommend 100000% to anybody looking for an intimate photo shoot!!!

e us feel comfortable during the planning process and during the session itself. She showed us photos here and there throughout the session, which grew our confidence / helped us feel more at ease. She delivered a sneak peek ASAP and the rest of the photos very quickly. Her style is very unique - no cookie-cutter portraits (unless that's what you want, in which case, she's very accomodating!) :-) She really thinks out of the box + makes you feel like a partner/collaborator versus just her subject. She also knows how to bring out the natural personalities of the people she's shooting - no fake laughs or forced smiles with her! We are thrilled with our entire gallery. It was so difficult to choose which photos to frame in our new home! Juliana is an engaging, thoughtful, TALENTED photographer, and I would recommend her to anyone.
Working with Juliana was an incredible experience! From her care in communication in planning and understanding our vision for our 5 year vow renewal/anniversary photos to scouting...
the perfect location to hiking with us and even her boyfriend watching our toddler so we could take couple photos on a cliff, she was amazing in every aspect.
And then, we saw the photos, I'm completely blown away. These photos are more beautiful than I ever hoped for! My husband is pretty comfortable in front of a camera, but I'm not. Juliana intuitively knew how to make me comfortable and gave clear posing instructions.
I 100% recommend Juliana for your elopement or engagement session and subsequent wedding photos. She absolutely over delivers.

rom a morning person. She was incredibly patient with us and helped us not feel so awkward while posing. Im one of the least graceful people possible and she made me look like an absolute goddess. She understands people’s angles and good sides. She listens and is open to collaborate to help your vision become a reality. I’ve worked with a few different photographers in the past and Juliana made us feel so comfortable while shooting. I have never had a shoot done where I LOVE every shot. Her editing style is amazing. The sneak peak gallery took our breath away. I practically posted them all. I would 1000% recommend her to friends and family. I will cherish these anniversary photos forever!
Choosing a photographer seemed daunting to me compared to other decisions we had to make during our wedding planning. But then a friend recommended Juliana. I checked out her insta...
gram page and was sold based on the photos alone. After I initially contacted her, she was prompt and set up a phone call to discuss what we were looking for. After that, I was even more sold because of her professional yet approachable manner. Our pictures obviously turned out beautiful. We typically feel awkward in the spotlight, but she did her best to make us comfortable throughout the day and provided great suggestions for poses. Even well after our wedding, Juliana was more than happy to assist us with ordering an album and prints. The website she used was a little confusing at first, but she was more than willing to help me navigate it. I would definitely recommend Juliana whether it be for a wedding or elopement. She is willing to travel to different destinations as well.
My fiancé and I had our engagement photo session with Juliana and we loved working with her! I love the mix of editorial, photojournalism, and fine arts in her photography. She was...
able to deliver quality photos lightning fast and we had so many beautiful photos to choose from. The precious moments she captured will be cherished forever, and we are so excited to share them with our friends, family, and future children. Thank you so much, Juliana! I highly recommend her as your photographer for any milestone occasion.
