Julia Bykowski Photography

k really creative photos. Julia, you have an amazing eye!

story with taking photos for him, when I saw her at one of his fights I thought it was just another photo opportunity in his element. Turns out that he had hired her to capture our engagement! She was so kind and friendly and absolutely hilarious and I am so thankful that she was there to capture such a special moment in my life. I can’t wait to have her capture my wedding day as well!

was more than satisfied with the end product! She also did my twin boys’ first birthday party as well as my recent engagement shoot. Those photos were incredible!! She has a great personality, and is easy to work with. Photographs are completed and delivered in a timely manner as well. You’re the best Julia!!

happier. Highly recommended for any event in your wedding planning!

ure some beautiful moments! I couldn’t more highly recommend her for any special occasion.

nd work ethic. We had her do our engagement shoot and wedding and it was really fun. We had some time constraints for the wedding but Julia was able to work her magic in that time and we are super excited by the photos we've already seen and can't wait to see the rest of them! She is very accommodating and is also pretty hilarious and has a great attitude. We enjoyed having her be our photographer and are glad we chose her!

When deciding on the photographer for our wedding we spent a lot of time researching and after speaking with Julia on the phone we booked her. We picked the package that included engagement photos, a website to host our pictures after the wedding and a second photographer. If you book Julia, you will not be disappointed!

rk.

ul and flexible. Would definitely recommend!

ot get to meet with Julia before the wedding but she always set aside time for me to speak to her on the phone whenever I needed. When she arrived the day of the wedding to start photos at the hotel I was already a little stressed but she jumped right in and made the day go a little easier for me. I have posted all my pictures online and I’ve had so many wonderful compliments on how amazing they are. I have already printed out a whole bunch and they are hanging up all over my house. She was a very professional, friendly photographer to work with, and her prices were very reasonable. If you choose Julia for your wedding you will not regret it.

able, and easy to work with. We received MANY beautiful photos and she did not miss a single moment on our big day. We will forever cherish the work and effort that Julia put forward for us. Thank you again Julia!

as very fun to take pictures with, kept us loose and laughing, and the photos came out great! We both strongly recommend Julia!

photographer. We found Julia online and we liked what we saw in her portfolio. We also liked how evident it was that she cares very much about the quality of her work. Those two things were enough for us to inquire about her services… and what we ended up getting was so much more. Julia is an absolute pleasure to work with, her artistic vision is just amazing, and the quality of her work is stunning. I have only seen a sneak peek of our wedding portfolio from Julia as she is still working on the editing process. What I have seen so far has me very excited to see the rest. Please, please hire Julia for your wedding photography, or other big life event. You’ll receive beautiful artwork and an absolute class-act photographer. Thank you Julia for being such an amazing artist and for capturing all the special moments of our wedding!

do in a nice/funny way. She can handle your prima donna cousin and your cranky uncle. Julia took the time to understand what we wanted, offered suggestions on how to execute our vague ideas, and exceeded expectations. I couldn’t be happier.

will treasure forever. Thank you Julia!

tos! Would definitely recommend.

elf which was evident in the pictures. I have them hanging in my living room and could not choose a favorite! The second time was for our wedding and she captured our day perfectly. Our favorite part was some of the candids she captured throughout the night. The most recent time was our maternity shoot and so far I love what I have seen. She is great at capturing people's true personality in the pictures. She also has a great turn around time and provides quality work. I can't wait to schedule our newborn photos with her.

us such good direction. We also had our huge slobbery dog with us because we desperately wanted him in a few photos. She was so patient while we begged him to sit still. The photos turned out so beautiful! She was such a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend, especially to those brides- to -be with difficult grooms that are dreading being photographed - she captured so many smiles and memories that we will have forever.

oyable while being very professional. The moments that she captures are truly one of a kind. She even makes people, that are not so comfortable in front of the camera, feel welcome to be themselves. It is so nice to have someone that understands your vision... as much as she does. I highly recommend her for any wedding or other event.

ed the day perfectly and with an artistic quality unmatched in other wedding photographers we met with. On the day of the wedding Julia was punctual and had a lighthearted sense of humor that made everyone comfortable. She truly knows how to capture a moment in time, and because of her, we will have these memories forever. After my experience working with Julia, I can say that she is the best wedding photographer in New England!

ea what to expect, but I cannot be more thrilled with our choice and the photos we will cherish for years and years and years. First off, we are not cutesy people and had no idea how to interact with a stranger who is supposed to be able to capture the essence of what our relationship is, but Julia did an amazing job! We booked her for our engagement shoot first, and she really put us at ease by making us laugh and asking us (and really listening to) what we wanted. The photos came out beautifully and we used a few of them for our save the date, the cover of our guestbook, and framed pictures for other wedding -related events. On our wedding day (July 2017) Julia was so flexible and easy to work with. She captured so many wonderful moments of our wedding that went by in an instant, that we are now able to treasure forever! My husband comes from a huge family who wanted to be a part of our formal photos. When this did not go exactly as planned (because surprise! people don't always follow directions) we were able to adjust our picture timeline and Julia was a huge help. SO long story short- Chris and I loved working with Julia. She was a blast and she takes AMAZING pictures. She will put you at ease along with the way with her expertise and professionalism. I highly highly recommend her to shoot your wedding (or anything else you are considering)!

o many special moments from that day. Julia was very easy to work with through the whole planing process and always quick to respond. I was planning the wedding the about 4,000 miles away and didn't meet her face to face until the day of our wedding, but it didn't matter, b/c she was all dialed in. We received our photos in a timely manner and she even did a quick edit of a 3 images the morning after the wedding to send to us, which was perfect b/c we were able to send those images to family who couldn't make at and we also used one of the images for our thank you card. Thank you Julia!!

piest day of my life. Julia was extremely professional, but enjoyable to work with. My husband and I don't love taking photos, but she kept us laughing and made the shoot painless and fun! It was extremely windy and challenging that day for Julia, but she still managed to keep her composure and took some amazing shots. I felt the love, excitement, and joy from every photo she captured. I know who I am going to call when my husband and I start a family and want another shoot! Shes truly amazing and you will not be disappointed in her work.

y and she was very timely getting photos back to us.

he immediately put us at ease. She was the same on the day of our wedding and kept our nerves calm which was so needed. Photos came out better than we could have hoped for, would highly recommend!!!

king. Julia photographed our wedding and I'm beyond impressed. Very professional, kind, and will go above and beyond to make every shot perfect. Julia thank you for capturing the beautiful moments of our wedding day. Would I recommend her? Absolutely!

ing to our needs. Julia was always quick to respond to any questions we had along the way. She takes absolutely beautiful photos; we love our engagement and wedding pictures and couldn't be more happy with them. Julia is truly a gem and we loved spending time with her. We are so glad we worked with her to capture our special day! Thanks again for everything Julia!!

ging our photographer to a destination wedding, but Ben and I could not be happier!

ue to us, and really took an interest in us as a couple. We were happy to share our engagement shoot with Julia and would encourage others to do the same!

our big day she made us feel comfortable and I was confident our photos would come out great! We received our photos when she said we would and I absolutely love them! I highly recommend booking Julia for your special day!!! I will tell all my friends and family and can't wait to book another session with her!! The best part is she was very affordable! Seriously don't miss out she's awesome!!!!

photographs she took of our wedding look amazing, and she really has a great eye. I highly recommend her for any of your photography needs!!! Thanks, Julia, for the awesome shots!!!

apher for my wedding in the Summer of 2017. I felt hopeful in the week of correspondence with her as she let me know the date was open and we could meet the following Saturday. I asked her to bring a contract as I was hoping to book with her upon meeting. She lived in Quincy and I agreed to make the 45 minute drive to meet with her. While on my drive, with less than fifteen minutes to our meeting time, I saw a voicemail on my phone from Ms. Bykowski. She was "trying to catch me before I left" informing me that another couple had put a deposit in for my wedding date and she would not be meeting with me. In speaking with her to clarify her voicemail she continued to coldly disregard my feelings by stating "Well I'm sorry you feel that way." Not once in our week of correspondence, did she mention another couple being interested in the same date. My fiancé works in the wedding industry and it is pretty routine practice to always give the first inquirer first dibs on the date and keep open communication between both parties. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism or sincerity and I felt incredibly misled. If you are interested in booking Ms. Bykowski please be aware of this situation and although she may have the best of intentions, she lacks experience in customer service for an event that is stressful for many people.

id shots on the dance floor. Everyone loved her, and my sister even wants to fly her out for her wedding! Highly recommend her and her work!

sure that she gave us a package that fit right into our budget and was always available for any questions we had. The night of our wedding she was professional, but blended right in. I felt like she was one of our guests, who happened to be doing our photography too, and as a result our photos came out AMAZING! We were able to be ourselves in front of the camera with Julia and that's hard to do sometimes. If I had to do it all over, I'd go with Julia 100 out of 100 times! I literally can't say enough good things, she's the best!

s so nice and we hardly noticed her as she moved around. Definitely recommend.

ax and feel at ease. She would let us relax and be playful and funny, but also knew how to find 'just the right shot' and give us guidance on how to stand, sit, or look at each other to capture the moment just right. I was impressed by the diversity on her blog too, which showed me that she is creative and thinks 'out of the box' but also knows how to capture those timeless photos - like engagement or wedding photos! Our images were received on time and expertly polished too. I can't wait to have her do my baby photos one day!

g party with ease and got amazing shots. When it was time for pictures of just my husband and I she blew us away with taking in our surroundings and capturing the most unique pictures that I will treasure for a lifetime. I highly recommend her for any wedding, she adapts to any situation and works with your budget to make your photo dreams come true! (My wedding was moved up to 10.3.14 don't mind the date you see)

ating her own style and technique. Using her wonderful photographic talent she was able to capture moments of priceless memories from our special day. We were truly lucky to have her and you would be too!

old and gray! She was very attentive to capturing all of the special moments we had and worked wonders trying to capture pictures of my 1 year old toddler who would NOT stay still! I'm so glad we hired her and I would reccomend her 100%

dly and professional. She traveled 50 miles so that we could shoot at our desired location and took a wide variety of shots in different settings so we had a lot to choose from. Our wedding was at a non-traditional location and Julia did a great job of capturing our special day in an unusual setting and was even willing to stay an extra hour upon our request. After the wedding we received multiple copies of all shots so that we got the chance to review everything and choose our favorites to print. Thank you, Julia!
