Joy was the perfect choice for our photographer. She was one of the first vendors we booked because we knew we really wanted to work with her. Her style of photography is amazing; ...
the perfect blend of posed and candid shots. In addition, Joy has a wealth of information she's willing to provide to couples who have no idea what they're doing (like us!). She was able to provide us on advice on which package to choose from, how to set out the day for our wedding and engagement sessions, locations in bay area on where to take pictures, etc. We really couldn't have done it without her and we love our pictures SO MUCH.
Joy is the best! She had a great balance of posed and candid shots that really captured the feel of our wedding. The pictures came out beautifully and we couldn't be happier. We re...
ceived over 700 shots (on the prettiest thumb drive I've ever seen) which allowed us to really pick and choose our favorites. We were working on a budget and Joy was very helpful, flexible, and accommodating to our needs. Matching hats was such a great deal. A hidden gem! She was so sweet and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!
perfect in every way!
we feel so blessed to have been able to partner with joy to capture our wedding day. i have worked with joy on the advertising side so i knew her aesthetic a...
nd sensibilities would align perfectly with ours. not surprisingly joy's pre-production skills and wedding day professionalism were top notch. on a day when the nerves were a bit "jittery" (to say the least) it was such a relief knowing we had joy on our side capturing all the moments. she even helped us figure out how to cut the cake! we cannot recommend matching hats highly enough!
My wife and I hired Matching Hats for our wedding and engagement photos. We can't even express how much we loved working with Joy and Austin. They were an absolute pleasure to work...
with every step of the way. They definitely have an eye for style, which was extremely important for us! From the very beginning we knew we had made the right choice in picking them for our special day. Joy was on top of email communications and really listened to us, plus picked up upon the style photos we were going for! My wife and I are pretty awkward when taking photos, but both Joy and Austin made us feel at ease. We are extremely happy to have had the opportunity to have worked with Matching Hats and would highly recommend them!
Joy and Austin were the best investment we made for our wedding. They captured it perfectly. The photos they took were beautiful. Every time I go back through the pictures, it br...
ings tears to my eyes.
They took a great amount of interest in us as a couple. Our interests, what we were comfortable with, and what we had in mind for our big day. By the end of the process, I truly feel like we made some great friends in the process as well.
Thank you Joy and Austin for such a great experience. Having you be our wedding photographers was such a pleasure, and you captured it perfectly!
My wife and I can't say enough about the job that Joy and Austin did for us. From the moment we met them we knew we had found our photographers for our wedding. We sat and had coff...
ee and talked about the ceremony and what we looking for.
When we walked away we laughed because it seemed so easy to get great photographers. We didn't think it could be that simple but it was.
On the day of the wedding they were timely and attentive. The things we discussed ahead of time were taken care of and made things fun.
Once we received our photos we couldn't have been more thrilled. They got a feel for what we wanted and delivered everything they promised.
I cannot say enough about the lovely images and sweet personalities of these two photographers! They have now taken photos for our engagement, wedding and family photos with our n...
ew daughter. I cherish all the images they've documented for us and shared them with our friends and family to share as memories of these most special occasions. Joy is such a gifted photographer! She gives wonderful direction while taking your picture and at the same time makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. She even took an additional set of photos for our wedding on the following weekend since we were a little too wound up on the big day to pose for a long session. We have so many beautiful images from our wedding, I wish I could share them all as a testament to her talent!
From our first email to the exquisite coffee table book they designed for us, this husband and wife team has far exceeded our expectations. For camera-shy people like ourselves, M...
atching Hats was the perfect choice, as their pictures are never forced and look naturally stunning. And their price is a bargain, considering that you're getting 2 professional photographers vs. 1 photographer + 1 assistant. But most of all, Joy and Austin are just awesome people with a love for photography. We had a great time with them and they made our wedding beautiful.
Working with Joy and Austin was an absolutely fantastic experience. The final product is even better than we expected because they managed to capture the feel of our day. The book ...
they put together for us is beautiful, but it is also great to have a disc of all of the photos they took. I highly recommend Matching Hats; they are extremely talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with.
