Josh was absolutely incredible to work with! From being so flexible and kind the past year and a half and working with us to reschedule our wedding to making us feel comfortable on...
our wedding day. We can be a bit awkward in front of the camera and the pictures I’ve seen so far have come out amazing. Highly recommend booking with Josh!!
Josh is an absolutely outstanding photographer and artist. He captured our wedding day at Mechanics' Hall in Portland in February. Because we got married indoors in the winter, my ...
husband and I wanted to find a photographer with the ability to use light creatively. Well, we found the best! From the moment we initially met with Josh and he did our engagement shoot, we could tell how much passion and talent he has. On our wedding day, Josh arrived and did not stop for the entirety of the day. He ran around the street of Portland with us getting the coolest shots of the wedding party. Whenever there was a moment that one would want captured, Josh was right there. He was one of our hardest working vendors on our wedding day and the photos are the product that shows it! We have had several family and friends compliment our wedding photos and express how incredible Josh is. He is the best, and we will continue to recommend him to everyone with photographer needs!
Joshua did such an incredible job capturing our Wedding day! Every time I look at the photos they bring back every feeling from that day. Josh did such an Amazing job covering ever...
y detail. You would’ve thought we had a team of photographers from all the moments he was able to capture. From each of us getting ready separately, to our “no look” on our hotel rooftop in the middle of Bar Harbor, many different angles of the ceremony and reception, sunset on Cadillac Mountain, and a sparkler send-off. I thoroughly enjoyed josh’s company along the way. He has a very calming presence and made me feel so at ease. We had an absolute blast! His attention to detail and organizational skills shine through. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the wonderful photos that allow me to relive our special day. I can’t wait to use Josh for future photography needs.
Josh was amazing! He was professional, easy to work with, and I got several complements about how hard he was working during our wedding (since he was taking so many photos)! His w...

ight to the end of our reception, guests could not stop commenting on how amazing Josh was! He will be the hardest working vendor you hire. He is passionate about not just capturing the day, but capturing the feeling and emotion behind all the special moments that make up a wedding day. There were so many small moments in time that he captured vividly and I still can't believe he caught them. Our wedding photos are crisp, bright, classic, and simply timeless. From the time we signed our contract, to the delivery of our photos, Josh has been nothing but punctual and professional. If we could do it all over again, we would choose Josh 100x over.
We couldn’t have imagined a better photographer than Josh. From start to finish, he was running around making sure he was able to get the perfect shot! The whole time, we (and all ...
of our guests) were amazed at how hard he was working. During and after the reception, I had several guests approach me to tell me how impressed they were with Josh! I love that Josh showed us one of our “wow shots” because it has made me even more excited to see our sneak peak!
I would recommend him 100%!! I picked Joshua Atticks based on pictures he had done at my wedding location for a previous wedding. He photographed both my rehearsal dinner and weddi...
ng, and I am so thrilled and happy with the results! Josh was dedicated to getting the perfect picture in every scenario -- my guests even commented on how he would position himself and my guests to get the right angle for the pictures. I had a partly cloudy and partly rainy wedding day, and he was ready to capture all moments of my wedding!!
Josh photographed our family over Thanksgiving weekend. Although it wasn't a wedding, we would highly recommend him as a photographer for every special occasion in your life! He ...
was friendly, easy to work with and incredibly talented. Josh captured some beautiful, natural expressions (no easy task with 5 people and 2 dogs!), worked beautifully with the natural lighting, and kept us laughing and smiling throughout the entire photo shoot. The resulting images are precious memories that we will cherish forever. I don't usually write reviews, but after being so thrilled with Josh's work, I wanted to share news of his incredible talent so that others can experience it, as well.
Josh was absolutely phenomenal. At least 10 people at our wedding asked if he traveled out of state, because "I've never seen a photographer work so hard in my life!" Josh takes br...
eathtaking photos that we will cherish forever, and he works incredibly hard to get them. He is joyful and upbeat, he was incredibly attentive to shots we wanted without being at all intrusive, and he made our wedding day so much less stressful because we knew he was capturing every moment just like we wanted it to be.
My husband and I couldn't be happier with having Joshua capture our engagement shoot and wedding day!! Joshua was easily one of our hardest working vendors on our big day, and was ...
committed to capturing every magical moment along the way. He had an easy-going yet professional attitude that made us instantly feel comfortable around him during our engagement shoot, and after seeing his work there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted him to capture our big day. I HIGHLY recommend Joshua if you are looking for artistic, emotional and beautiful wedding photos!
Josh was FANTASTIC!!!! We booked him for an engagement session in downtown Portland and Fort Williams. He made us feel extremely comfortable from the first picture! We had a great ...
time and he was committed to getting the best shot we could every where we stopped. We took pictures with our dogs and they were some of our favorite of the bunch! For an engagement session we got SO MANY pictures back! And they were all so beautiful! Josh has such a talent for using light to his advantage to make the shot stunning!
Josh was amazing in every way. From our first meeting through editing the photos quickly, he knocked it out of the park. He was such a calm presence during the wedding - many guest...
s commented on how awesome he was! He also just has a special talent, especially when it comes to light. We felt like he had a vision for the day, and he made it come to life. We're pretty sure if he was wearing a FitBit he would have logged over 30,000 steps for the day. He was working hard! He gave clear instructions for poses and moved through things quickly so we could get to our reception. His price is absolutely worth the value - you will treasure your photos from him. I would recommend Josh to any bride for her wedding day. Wonderful photographer, artist, and person.

wered all of our questions and is very passionate about his work. He was with us the whole day of the wedding and captured every moment flawlessly. He had great ideas for poses but really captured the candid moments. He was everywhere (but not noticeable) and didn't miss a beat! Even our wedding guests commented on his great skills, fun attitude, and how he went above and beyond to capture every moment. He also worked great with the kids! I am SO happy with our photos. They are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Josh!!

And should I need photographs taken of any other major event in the future, I know who to ask – Joshua Attics of Lifesessions Photography!

ome and cool he was, I had guests coming up to me saying how fun and nice our photographer was. I chose him for his great editorial style which I love and got those, as well as portraits. He captured the entire day and you can tell the story in the photos.
Even though we are a CA couple, we both agreed that on our next trip to ME we will schedule a session with him on the beach just for fun! Also at future family reunions!
