I would highly recommend the lobster rolls that everyone raved about! The dinner portions were perfect and the food was well timed, delicious, and came out at a perfect temp. We chose the option of a gelato bar, from Gemelli’s in West Chester, because it is a favorite of our family. It perfectly paired with the wedding cake. We ended the night with breakfast sandwiches to go…and they went! A huge shout out to Violet who was so easy to work with and made all of our planning so much fun. We could not have picked a better caterer for this wedding. It was beyond perfection!

erver" was amazing. He kept the drinks and food coming all night long. The food was one of the biggest things I was excited for on the wedding day and it was so good! We ended up having a few "no shows" so we had leftovers for 3 days after the wedding (but it still tasted as good as the day it was made). The extra meals and appetizers that we took after the wedding were the best thing because we were up late and got hungry (let's just say the plate of appetizers and eggplant parmesan did not make it to the next day- they got eaten at 1am at the hotel). The team made our day so easy and we are still getting compliments about the food and drinks to this day! The Serock team was one of my favorite vendors of the day and I'm so glad we chose them!

She was also great at organizing the night’s schedule with the food, cake cutting, and late night snack to give us a smooth timeline. The timing of everything was so smooth, our drinks were made perfectly, and we seemed to get a smile or kind word from everyone who assisted us. Mary Ann was our personal waiter and contact for the day, and she was such a sweetheart to us as well! Sarah and her entire team were very professional and allowed the day to flow.

Also, the apple cobbler warm dessert was amazing, too!

Food was our #1 priority, and Serock Catering exceeded every expectation. From the tasting that allowed us to try so much and experience a night at the mansion similar to a wedding- it helped ensure we made the right decision on food options. We had several guests with complex dietary needs (vegan, GF, and nut allergies), and the team handled it with total professionalism—every guest felt included and well-fed without any awkwardness. A huge shoutout to John and the staff, who made sure we were always taken care of, from food and drinks, to helping our night go so smoothly. Even during a medical emergency at the reception, the staff remained calm and provided us with the sanity to handle the situation with ease and care. He helped with the set up of our cocktail hour games and was truly hands on for the whole night. John was an absolute awesome day of coordinator and we are so thankful for him. He made sure everything went smoothly. Also, huge shout out to the bartenders and servers- nobody ever had to wait for appetizers or drinks- it was a seamless night for all our guests needs! The service was 'invisible' in the best way; plates were cleared instantly, and the late-night cookies were the perfect exit snack for all of our guests to enjoy on their way home. Truly a luxury experience from start to finish.

As part of your service, you get a day of coordinator and Violet worked with my daughter throughout the planning process and was amazing. She was very thorough, helpful, and was able to anticipate our needs. Unfortunately, on the day of the wedding, Violet had a medical issue and could not attend which could have been disastrous. Violet communication with the owner, John Serock, was organized and although Violet was missed on the day, the details and planning was smoothly transitioned into the care of John. He fit in seamlessly and was like part of the family.

our menu in the most thoughtful ways, offering adventurous dishes that wowed our guests, bringing a Magic Bullet so my dad could enjoy pureed short rib, and happily incorporating ice cream from our college into the dessert course. Every single detail was perfect, and guests are still talking about the food weeks later. We were also surprised by how much we were able to enjoy the meal ourselves. Many couples say they barely eat on their wedding day, but we had a peaceful moment together sharing the lasagna and short rib, and it felt so special. Maryann deserves particular praise. She stayed with us from the moment the ceremony ended, ensuring we had food and drinks, looking after our families during portraits, and generally making us feel so cared for. Her warmth and attention made the day feel effortless. We fell in love with Serock’s food at an open house, and the wedding day proved that their quality and service are truly exceptional. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding the best weekend of our lives.

The team truly went above and beyond with the hors-d'oeuvres, the salad, the mains, and even vegan cobbler with vegan ice cream. The most important thing to me on my wedding day was that everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food—and the food was phenomenal! I also had a personal waitress who was so kind and attentive, she constantly checked in to make sure I had something to eat and a drink in my hand. From helping choose linens to making our floor plan work to responding to all my questions quickly and with detailed thoughtful answers, they really are the best. And that's even before we tasted the food, which was AMAZING. We were so happy to be eating such delicious high quality food at our wedding and we were able to take some leftovers, which were still fabulous reheated! The service was also amazing, I really enjoyed every interaction I had with all the members of the team and our guests have mentioned how nice and helpful the people were. I also really appreciated that I saw and interacted with Violet throughout the reception, it was like she was everywhere ready to help all night which was so nice especially since we had worked with her for the past year on the wedding. annot say enough positive things about John Serock! We had numerous changes and obstacles and they handled everything! We had to change our venue and wedding date and Crystal stepped up to help us find a new venue. Three days before our wedding there was a terrible storm and the venue was without power. Crystal and team ensured that EVERYTHING ran smoothly and the entire team made sure all of our guests had a great time. Not to mention our guests still cannot stop talking about the wonderful food.

y and fun. I swear the food tasted even better the day of, which goes to show their expertise! Sarah, our Event Manager, was also a dream to work with! She and her staff were so attentive and had a seamless flow for our multiple courses and kept the good vibes going at the bar. Special shout out to our bridal attendant who greeted us with a big smile and had our specialty cocktails and apps ready to go right after the ceremony! She made sure we had a chance to eat and enjoy our meal together before saying our hellos to guests & hitting the dancefloor. Our guests raved about the spread we selected for our passed apps and are still talking about the quality of the steak and the chicken dishes we selected. Oh and the late night cheesesteaks were arguably the biggest hit of the night! Truly 5 star experience all the way around - their service, food quality, and selections are top notch!

And the food, the FOOD was phenonmeal-when I think of catering, I don’t tend to think that I’d be eating a meal that I would genuinly crave and want to go back to that place to have it multiple times but that’s the way my husband and I felt about the Salmon and filet we tried with sides that genuinly just stunned. Our guests absolutely raved about our entrees and the presentation- Bao Buns actually came in a little steamer basket, our personal fav, the cutest grilled cheese shooters, and the ahi tuna cones. Well, the joke was I had 14 of them. We always felt so taken care of and waited on throughout our big day with drinks ready to go right after we finished our ceremony and a personal waiter throughout the busy night. We were able to make customizations like adding an asian take-out late-night snack too. My husband and I are the biggest foodies you’ll meet, so it was important to us that it was a piece of our day that stunned, and that it did. Our guests absolutely raved about the food, and I’m convinced that no one has been to a wedding and has been better fed than ours with Serock. My vision for the ceremony was also a bit different, and Steven helped that come to life as well with setting up the chairs in a particular fashion that I envisioned. Also have to shout out John Serock himself as we got the chance to speak with him at one of the Appleford tastings and his passion for the business and attention to the quality of ingredients and products he puts in front of his clients was so evident to us.

e food at our wedding would be good. Even with high expectations, we were still blown away on our wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious by any standard. The ahi tuna cones, short rib bao buns and crab cake sliders are MUST HAVE hors d'oeuvres. Our dinner options were filet mignon, chilean sea bass and cheese tortellini in pesto. It is impossible to choose a favorite because they were all amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite, both at the wedding and over the last few days as we ate our way through the leftovers (of which there were many). In addition to the high quality of the food, all of the staff was so kind and accommodating, especially our day-of-coordinator, Violet, and our assigned server, Angela. Violet was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, always promptly responding to my questions and assuring me that everything would go smoothly. Angela took such good care of me, my husband and our parents the entire evening. Many people warned us that we wouldn't get to eat at the wedding because we'd be so busy mingling, but we both felt like we had more than enough food -- all thanks to Angela making us plates of hors d'oeuvres and dessert. John Serock Catering is top-tier and worth every penny. We could not be happier with our experience!
