About this vendor
We’re a pair of Arizona (and destination) wedding photographers for fun-loving, madly-in-love couples like you!
We’re convinced that fairy tale weddings should never go out of style. You envisioned a dreamy, elegant, enchanting day filled with joy, romance, and all of its’ treasured moments. Our mission is not only for you to experience all of that in the moment, but also in the years that follow when you look back at these photos!
Our number one commitment is to take care of you! If we see that you need help, we’re not going to sit back and watch. We’ve been there side-by-side with the mother of the bride putting up decorations, helping to pull off a wedding that went from two hours behind schedule, to only ten minutes late. Alli even photographed a wedding four DAYS after giving birth! Although we had a second shooter helping out, and rather than stop by and say hello, Alli stayed for three hours and photographed the wedding too because we’re just THAT dedicated to your day! Needless to say, not much stops us from showing up on one of the most important days of your life. We love what we do, and we know it goes beyond the pictures, although that’s one of the best parts too!

When we first looked at Jo and Alli's photography, we were immediately drawn to the natural beauty and bright style of photography. We knew that Jo and Alli's style is what we want...
ed for our wedding and what memories we wanted to capture when we look back many years from now.
After our initial meeting, Jo and Allie were super nice, professional, and assured us that they were excited to be on board but also help us with anything we needed. They were additionally able to review our wedding timeline to see how it would flow and they gave helpful suggestions or ideas.
We were happy we chose them because not only did we get amazing photos to keep and share with our family and friends, but also a local family, women-owned business because they did such an amazing job all their work shows it.
We were very fortunate to find them on the knot and after doing much research and looking at other photographers, we couldn't be more happy we went with Jo and Alli for our wedding day.
Jo and Alli are such amazing photographers! They take the most beautiful pictures and deliver your sneak peeks (and even your whole albums!!) so fast. Their work is beautiful and t...
hey are very organized. They sent us engagement shoot information with all the details we needed in a beautiful packet and then made the shoot so fun and we got my most favorite picture ever from that shoot. Then they kept in constant contact leading up to our wedding and then made the day a breeze. Having the two of them to capture both angles of every picture is so unique and special. They sent us nearly double the amount of pictures we were expecting because they captured so many amazing ones and they're not wrong...there are SO MANY AMAZING pictures. You will definitely not regret hiring them! Honestly. Do it.
Jo and Ali really made our day so special! We love that included in their pricing is any engagement shoot, this helped us really get to know the two of them and feel comfortable. W...
e were so excited when we received our wedding photos and they were nothing short of amazing. I was really interested in their light and airy photos and just showcasing the beauty of everyone’s wedding. They did just that for us. They went above and beyond for everything we needed and asked for. We highly recommend their service.
Nothing short but AMAZING!!! 10/10 for everything and all that Jo and Alli do. They are so professional, knowledgeable, and loving! They can capture every loving moment during our ...
engagement shoot AND our big day. They know exactly what poses to do and teach you exactly what to expect the day of. They were so flexible with the time on our big day. We were running a bit off schedule, but they were flexible on making sure everything was set and ready to go. They divide and concur. They were great at cracking my husband to capture his smile, he is not a fan of taking photos, and they were able to get him comfortable enough to be himself. They were a pleasure to work with. Not only were they just our photographers, but they became our friends. Also, their turnaround time on getting photos back to us was relatively quick, and the access to our album was simple.
I love you both so much, and thank you for everything you have done! I truly adored spending our special day with them!
10/10 will be hiring them AGAIN for any future photography needs! We had the absolute best experience with Jo and Ali throughout the entirety of our engagement and wedding day. The...
y were very easy to communicate with, so friendly, and very professional! Our engagement shoot was so magical (highly recc. desert botanical garden) and our wedding day photos exceeded our dreams! We got our photos back SO quickly and they went above and beyond in so many ways. We love their editing style and that no pose was off limits! Thank you both for capturing the best day of our life! captured echoed our personalities and love for each other, our friends and family members. Their personalities and love for their work made any awkward or tense moments easily slip by! They made planning the wedding and prepping for the photos across the country during a pandemic so easy and simple. I would encourage and recommend any bride getting married near Phoenix, to book with Jo and Alli! You won’t regret it!

ly captured the magic of our day. We had them do both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and I was so pleased with how the photos turned out. I recommend them to any bride and groom who wants to have lasting memories from beautiful pictures of their special day!
My husband & I married in 2011 & had a relative take our wedding photos to try and save money. She literally got no Bridal pictures of just me and hardly any of my husband & I toge...
ther! The pictures we received back were mostly just of the activities that day. I have always been so sad about not having wedding photos of my husband and I or of just me on my special day to hang on the walls of our home. So, I finally decided to break out my wedding dress ( luckily it still fit I just had it tied a little looser in the back 😉 lol) & do a re-shoot! Wander Back photography was more than happy to help! Joanne spent time before the shoot sharing pose ideas with me to ensure that, this time around, I get all that I have dreamed of out of my photos. And Y'all, the pictures turned out GORGEOUS!! I will forever be thankful for receiving the bridal photos I had always hoped for & imagined! I can't recommend wander back photography enough to capture something as special as your wedding! Take it from me, photography is money well spent! They are forever memories of your big day and that is priceless.
