JLM Design & Events

dustry with confidence and kindness. She had the quickest response time of any individual or business I've worked with, even when she was actively supporting additional weddings. She made sure I knew no question was a silly question, which immediately eased my mind. I did not worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding, because every single aspect was taken care of. If you're thinking of hiring JLM Design and Events for your wedding, DO IT. You will absolutely not regret it.

ation were phenomenal. Whether it was answering our countless questions, providing recommendations for vendors, or helping our grand ideas come to fruition, she was always there for us every step of the way. Not only did the team set up the venue perfectly, they provided so much support behind the scenes (including figuring out how to bustle my wife's dress for the reception). We could not be more grateful as both of our families were able to truly be present throughout the entire day without having to worry about a single detail. We are so thankful we decided to have Johanna coordinate our wedding. She and the JLM Design and Events team provided us with a wedding day we and our guests will remember forever.

and the JLM Events team was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our wedding. Full transparency - I was hesitant to book a coordinator due to budget being the MAIN factor for our wedding and frankly I didn’t think we could spare the expense. After finding out from our venue that it was a requirement to have a coordinator (turned absolute GODSEND) I found Johanna last June (2025) and from start to finish have been absolutely FLOORED by her dedication, insight, and complete understanding of our needs and wants for the most special day of our lives. Let me just tell you- Johanna will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for you and then some. I was so thankful to have her as an advocate during this process. As someone who considers herself very “Type A” I had no idea how much of a crucial necessity having someone like Johanna would be during this process. The vendor selection is overwhelming to say the least but getting into the nitty gritty of contracts, Plan B scenarios, and just overall comprehension of this business is not something that is talked about enough in this industry. With the guidance and wisdom of Johanna, I know for a fact our experience was as seamless as it was because of her knowledge and diligence. She checked in with me routinely leading up to our wedding year and then on a weekly/daily basis once our wedding year hit. Before booking the remainder of our vendors (which were a lot LOL), I would make sure to send her the contracts I received to make sure everything looked okay and with her guidance we were able to avoid some MAJOR possible disasters with some really important vendors (talking Catering & Glam…pretty important :) ). My whole point is this- you have no idea what you’re looking at or even the questions to ask, even if you think you do, you need someone like Johanna and her team as allies. We avoided these possible disasters because we had Johanna. And even better, once confirming that it wasn’t in our best interest to book said vendor(s), Johanna would be right there with other options for us that were highly recommended and most important- in our budget. I never once felt pressured or like that I wasn't heard at all with Johanna during this process. She received and heard every ounce of my wants and intentions for this day and for that, I am indebted to her. Our wedding day was such a sacred day and because of the team (led by Johanna ) we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Our main focus was just being present with each other and savoring every second- that’s how it should be! BOOK JLM DESIGN AND EVENTS, trust me it’ll be the best thing you do :)

le to walk 150 people outside, inside, outside, and inside again. It never felt like I was being rushed or yanked around. After the wedding, I had ten separate people come up to me to express how seamless and organized the wedding was. It had nothing to do with me. It was all Johanna and her brilliant organization, experience, and foresight that made our day so special. I also had multiple vendors express to me how wonderful of a job Johanna did in terms of handling contracts, getting information to them, and providing day-of timelines. I can imagine that that is a huge compliment, as JLM Design & Events has stood out among all of the other wedding planners that are out in the field. Finally, I have to say that Johanna is incredibly flexible when it comes to having meetings and visiting potential venues. As an out-of-state bride, I was incredibly grateful for that. If any bride-to-be comes to me, I will always suggest JLM Design & Events.

at ease with her clear and timely communication. She has exceptional attention to detail, and her organizational skills helped us stay on track during the wedding planning process. We had an incredible wedding day, and could not recommend Johanna and the entire JLM team enough.

s we did. My professional background is in events and I knew it was going to be hard to find someone who cared as much as I did about all the tiny details of the big day. But, Johanna knocked it out of the park. From planning calls, vendor communication, venue communication. day of coordination and most importantly emotional support... We were so happy we had her on our side. I cannot recommend Johanna and her team enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. HIRE HER NOW!!!

king took the stress out of the wedding planning process. She was an amazing guide and encouragement during this season. She made my vision come to life! I am so grateful that she was a part of our wedding day!

e is professional, confident, and very good at what she does. Every little detail was nailed down before the wedding day and the timeline she laid out was perfect. The wedding day ran so smoothly and there were no hiccups and everyone had a great time! If I had to do it all over again I'd go with Johanna each and every time!

She was readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had when planning my wedding and get great advice. Her day of coordination was great and really took the stress off of my and my groom. I would highly recommend JLM Design & Events!

. We didn’t have a worry in the world with her in our corner. She was 3 steps ahead and always had our best interest in mind. I would recommend JLM to anyone and everyone that’s getting married. Thank you again Johanna for being there with us all steps of the way!!!!

ed to get to know me and my now husband. I quickly wanted to get the contract locked in because of this. After this step, Johanna immediately jumped in to walk us through organization and steps needed prior to the big day. Every meeting we had with her felt like hanging out with a friend, in the best way. Johanna often stayed way past the time she allotted for us just laughing and getting to know us on a personal level. I’m not sure she knows how much we truly valued the time she spent with us. She has so much experience and knowledge about the wedding industry as well as event management. Her unique background in managing construction makes her above the rest. Whether it’s guiding you through a rain plan, pointing you to a reliable vendor for last minute hiccups, or even offering fun late night snack/ favor ideas – Johanna has you covered. There was never a time that she didn’t respond to my emails, texts, calls instantly. A tropical storm spun up the week of our wedding and it ultimately dumped 4 inches of rain on our entire outdoor wedding. This didn’t seem to phase Johanna in the slightest. Her and her team put on their rain boots, zipped up their jackets, and proceeded to decorate our entire tent, manage all of the vendors, and made the day feel as if the sun was shining & everything was going as originally planned. I never felt stressed about the event itself because I knew JLM had it all covered. We love Johanna and words truly cannot express our absolute gratitude for her and her team. Without a doubt will highly recommend her for our entire lives moving forward.

best decision my husband and I made in our wedding planning process. I can be very Type A (and have built a career in project management) so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a coordinator who could 1) handle my personality (admittedly I can be a lot) and 2) could be organized enough that I could truly turn my brain off for my wedding ceremony and just enjoy the day. Johanna absolutely blew us away. Not only is she one of the most organized people I've ever met, she's an incredibly kind and genuine human, and made us feel like we had a true teammate in this crazy wedding planning process. When people tell you that no matter how much you prepare your wedding will never go exactly according to plan, they mean it. The MORNING of my wedding I received an email from my photobooth vendor that their equipment was broken and that they could no longer fulfill our contract. Johanna helped us secure a replacement vendor in a matter of hours and took care of the logistics so my husband and I could be fully present on our wedding day. We also experienced a crazy rain storm that disrupted a key period of our timeline and had to postpone our outdoor ceremony, but Johanna was there every step of the way taking caring of the last minute change of plans, advocating for us, and making sure the vision we had for our ceremony and reception was executed beautifully in the end. I genuinely cannot say enough kind things about Johanna. If you want a knowledgeable professional who also feels like a friend you've known for years to help plan or coordinate your wedding or event, hire JLM Design & Events. You will not regret it. :) Sincerely, a happy bride.

has wonderful communication. She answered any and all questions we had in a matter of hours. She had planning documents prepared quickly and with great detail at the end of every meeting. Johanna always had a positive attitude and was incredibly easy to work with. I could not recommend a better planner from a better event team!

tful, and understanding regarding the entire wedding planning process. On the actual wedding day, we unfortunately had lots of rain before our outdoor ceremony and she sprung into action to make sure we could execute a backup plan as well as help keep our ceremony items as dry as possible. We felt very confident in Joanna and her team to run everything as smoothly as possible and that’s exactly what happened despite our rain delay and schedule shifts!

sful than it could have been with Johanna’s help. I can not recommend JLM Design & Events enough. Everything about this entire experience was made better with her team, we are forever grateful for how our wedding day turned out with the help of Johanna.

heir special day to be free of stress and full of joy!

haps a bigger compliment is that my mom mentioned how glad she was we hired a day of coordinator so she could truly enjoy our wedding as well.

h was a lot). She showed concern over issues that we were worried about and reassured us based on her experience that immediately put our minds at ease. She was so organized and on top of things that we would never have thought of and paid attention to every little detail. We never felt like we were burdening her with questions especially as wedding day started to approach which is so crucial to managing stress levels. We always felt like we were her number 1 priority. I would highly recommended Johanna to any couple who wants a true wedding expert on their team to make their lives less stressful and more enjoyable during such a unique and special time!

f and felt a huge sense of relief when I handed it all off to her on Friday afternoon. After that I was able to just relax and enjoy my big day because I knew that she would take care of all the set up and make it look nice. Some lighting and other items I provided didn’t fit quite right in the reception room, but she flexed and made it perfect. She and her team made sure the flow of the evening went smoothly, and we didn’t forget anything that we wanted to do. Hiring her was a great decision. I strongly recommend her!
