Let me start by saying that I did not want to do engagement photos because I didn't really see the purpose and was worried they would be cheesy. Then we met Jerod and Lauren who m...
ade us realize taking engagement photos could be fun, relaxing, and a great way to get to know your photographers before the big day. Turns out, we had a blast, and now we have pictures that capture that very exciting time in our lives. We ended up using the photos all over the wedding-on an easel, on the programs, on tables, you get the point..we were obsessed! They also took care of all of our printing needs, including designing and printing our Save the Dates. On top of that, they sent us an awesome little photobook as a gift.
The day of the wedding Jerod and Lauren captured everything perfectly. The pros of using a husband and wife team is that Jerod was with my groom Dave while he was getting ready, and Lauren was with me and my girls at a separate location. We chose to do a first look, and they made that a totally comfortable, special moment. The first look allowed us to get lots of pics out of the way before the ceremony, this way we could breeze through family photos right after the ceremony, allowing us to join our reception (PARTY) ASAP!
Our amazing photography team took a perfect combo of traditional, candid, artsy and fun shots. They stayed with us ALL day in order to capture the entire event. As self-absorbed as it sounds, I seriously wish JL could follow us everywhere and capture our lives, because they do it flawlessly!

The duo have an impressive amount of top quality photography equipment and know how to use it! Not to mention their photo editing software. Together they have a great "artistic" eye for composition and color, they won't be held back by anything.
I would (and have) recommend them to EVERYONE! Whether it be Wedding, Engagement, Family, Children, or Pet Photography.
