As a type A bride, I had zero worries about wedding day photography timeline or forgetting pictures I wanted from the wedding day. Truly the wedding day revolves around pictures and with the detailed timeline and “must get shot list” that Jess provides, it is evident this is NOT her first rodeo! Jess does an amazing job of capturing the couple naturally and organically and not forcing pictures. When my mom, fiancé, and I met with her for the first time, we were blown away! We spent three hours meeting about the wedding. She came prepared, as prior to meeting she had already talked to our wedding planner. She ensured that she understood our vision and helped us draft a timeline from start to finish, and a photo list. She was always very responsive and during the weeks leading up to the wedding we had touchpoints to ensure we were all on the same page and prepared. Her experience was invaluable, as she knew to ask me things I hadn’t even thought of! I feel like sometimes talking pictures and having a photographer can cause some pressure and in turn make you feel awkward, which can show through in pictures. This is NOT the case with Jessica at all. Never once was she “in your face” or forcing a shot. She makes you feel so comfortable and captures authentic and real emotions! When she arrived, it was like another one of my friends showed up. We were talking and laughing and she was making sure she got pictures of the whole day. The pictures she captured were unbelievable. They were of the best quality and so beautiful. They perfectly showed my husband’s and my relationships with those around us and captured love that words can’t describe. She had the sneak peek pictures to us so fast, which was exciting to relive all those moments. I would recommend Jessica to everyone! Not only is she a great photographer (as well as Erika), but she pretty much turned into our wedding coordinator. We had an issue with our hair/makeup BAILING on us the day BEFORE my wedding (at 1pm) and Jessica called her contacts and was able to get replacement hair and makeup professionals within 2 hours. If it wasn't for Jess, I don't know what I would've done. I cannot wait to see our full set of photos and the albums she'll help make. I will use Jess in the future for any professional photography.

She accommodated having our dog involved in the engagement pictures, and managed to capture his most handsome side. erience makes it go by so fast. We were nervous about looking awkward in our photos and she made both of us feel so comfortable and let us just be ourselves while still getting all must have shots. She also stepped in to help in anyway she could which was over and beyond the call of duty.

We did our engagement shoot with her which was an absolute blast. I emailed Jess to see if she had any suggestions for photographers in Michigan and just happened to ask her if she traveled for weddings (just in case). Not only did she email me back with suggested photographers in my area, but she said she would be willing to travel to Ann Arbor for my wedding! Not only is Jess the worlds best wedding photographer (no joke, just look at her blog) but she made me feel completely at ease and absolutely beautiful on the day of my wedding (and I had never even met her before!). Even my husband raved about how awesome she was! There are no words for me to express how much better Jess made my wedding day.
