Working with Jess was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding! Because she's relaxed behind the camera, it was so much easier for us to relax in front of it. She gave u...
s some direction when we needed it but was stellar at being a fly on the wall and just capturing the moments as they happen. The authenticity really shines through in how comfortable and happy we look. Jess also has an amazing ability to find opportunities for the most gorgeous shots that I never would have expected. Our wedding schedule ending up being tighter than we thought, but Jess just rolled with it and made the absolute most out of the time we had. Absolutely recommend if you are looking for documentary-style and candid photos and artistic details.
Jess was exactly the kind of wedding photographer we were hoping for! She was kind and warm, relaxed and flexible. We had a backyard Ohio summer wedding in August, and she was trul...
y amazing. Both in her availability in the planning beforehand, and as soon as she arrived on site, I felt comfortable and confident that she would capture our day with attention and artful care. One of the things we both felt, and that we heard from our family and friends, was that people almost never saw her, but she seemed to be everywhere at the same time, which I think is an amazing trait in a wedding photographer. When we were thinking back to the day, neither of us could remember really ever having seen her after the initial family photoshoots. Once the photos came though, it was clear just how present and focused she was, from morning to evening! She also put together the online album really quickly with the edited photos, which we were so grateful for, to be able to relive the day just a month or so after.
The portraits and live shots are all equally amazing. She really captured the joy and love of the day. My husband and I spent two hours looking through the photos when she sent them, crying and laughing from the memories. Jess took way more beautiful artsy photos than I was expecting, and we love them.
Our only small pieces of feedback, which you can probably just ask for beforehand (we didn't think to), is to get some more shots of friends and various groups of people talking and dancing, so we could have seen our friends and family in the moments we weren't around too, and some dinner table and speeches shots, and then maybe to have taken a few more shots of us alone and together. But those are small things, and things we had not thought to plan beforehand or known to ask for in the moment, so mostly just a recommendation to make sure to have a plan for all the photos you want beforehand!
We truly are so glad we went with Jess, and were beyond thrilled with the results. We completely recommend her to any couple looking for an excellent, cool, and warm wedding photographer to help capture the most amazing day. Thank you, Jess!!
Jess was AMAZING! We had a complex family issue. Where some in-laws did not want to be in pictures or the same room with other in-laws. She did amazing at capturing our big day and...
making everyone happy. I could not recommend her enough. She was kind, professional, and was very caring. She made sure to capture our day in just the way we needed. She also made sure that our small details were captured as well. She did amazing!
Jess did an excellent job photographing my wife and I's wedding this last summer. She worked with us to set a price for our micro wedding services and took SO many photos that all ...
came out beautiful! She's great at setting people at ease and takes great, spur-of-the-moment photos, which was perfect for my wife and I, who neither do very well with posing. I would absolutely recommend Jess to anyone looking for an lgbt+ friendly wedding photographer in the Mansfield/Columbus area!

ence. She was wonderful in listening to me and my (now) husband; allowing us to enjoy our day all while still capturing beautiful photos. Jessica is very professional, had great suggestions/recommendations, and delivered photos in a timely manner. Her pricing is very fair and since she charges on an hourly basis (at least as of the time of my wedding), you can easily manage costs to your budget. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
Jess was absolutely amazing! My husband and I are not huge picture people, so we were both nervous about looking awkward in our pictures. Jess has such a calm and relaxing presence...
that our worries vanished very quickly! She knows how to get everyone in “posed” photos to look very natural. She also doesn’t try to take a ton of posed pictures and really focuses on capturing real moments throughout the night, which is a huge reason we wanted to work with her in the first place! We just got married on 10/21/23, so we only have the teaser pictures right now but they’re INCREDIBLE. She even managed to get a picture of my little brothers (7 and 9 years old) as they sprinted down the aisle 😅 Our friends and family love the pictures we have and all of us cannot wait to see the rest!
Jess is the greatest! After seeing the photos from a friend's wedding, I have followed along for years waiting for my opportunity to work with her as a bride. Jess has photographed...
our elopement and large wedding celebration, and we would find any excuse to have her photograph us again and again in the future. She is sweet, patient, creative, and remarkably professional. Of the photos she has taken for us, I can honestly say that there isn't one we wouldn't proudly share. Her work is not cookie-cutter, it truly speaks for itself! Words cannot express our gratitude for her part in our special day(s), and we are thankful to move forward into this next chapter with her not only as a photographer, but as a friend.
We love Jess! She photographed both of my sister in laws' weddings so we were thrilled to get to work with her on ours! We also had her take our engagement pictures, and have loved...
the way all of our photos have turned out! I also didn't feel like I needed to do research on poses to do. Jess has both the experience and the artistic vision to help with poses and captured every moment in the most beautiful way.
Jess was suggested by our wedding venue (Jorgensen Farms) and photographed both our wedding and engagement photos. She was absolutely awesome throughout the entire process. During ...
our engagement shoot, Jess made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and captured beautiful photos digitally and on film. This continued at our wedding, where she captured so many little candid moments which we’ll cherish for years to come. Jess was exceptionally efficient with the relatively small number of posed portraits we did - we unexpectedly got them all done before the ceremony, which was a huge bonus, and that efficiency did not sacrifice the quality (or quantity) of the finished product at all! Jess is probably the right photographer for you if: you want film and digital photos, you want timeless, largely candid shots, you love flowers, you want a photographer who will largely stay out of the way and capture the beauty of your wedding day as it unfolds, and/or you want a photographer who knows how to create genuine moments to capture so that even the “posed” pictures don’t feel so posed. We are so delighted that we booked Jess and can’t recommend her highly enough!
I cannot say enough positive things about Jess. She has so much ease in her demeanor that really helps you stay relaxed not only for the photos, but also for the big moments of the...
day. I consider myself very camera shy and awkward and Jess brought the absolute best out of me. Her photos are BREATHTAKING, Her artistry is simply outstanding. She does not take photos of your day, she tells the story of your day. She captured the essence of each moment and each person! She also helped keep a comfortable flow, especially during the family portraits. Don’t hesitate for one more minute, do yourself a favor and book her 💖✨.
Jess was amazing and so kind! She captured our wedding so beautifully and I would recommend her over and over again!
I wish I could give a higher rating than 5/5. Jessica was incredible! My sister had Jessica shoot her wedding and we immediately decided to book her too. As a 2020 couple, Jess w...
as amazing to work with and she is such a kind soul!! Our wedding was originally scheduled for 3/27/20 - right before COVID and we were required to postpone due to governor's orders. Jessica not only helped us quickly find a new date, but she also checked in on us, as a friend, which meant the world to us as we navigated this crazy time. My fiance and I ultimately got married in our home on our original date without all the frills of a normal wedding. Fast forward to December 2020 - our "new" celebration date and we ultimately had to cancel again. We decided to have an intimate vow renewal with our immediate family and Jess was there to capture the wedding photos we didn't get to have back in March. And man, she captures AMAZING photos! If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, and an overall amazing human, book Jessica and you will not be disappointed! Finally - if she asks you if you want to take pictures under your veil - do it! Cannot recommend her enough!!
10 out of 10 would recommend Jessica to take your photos! She was amazing, and I can’t wait to get all of our photos back from our wedding. She made us feel comfortable and didn’t ...

tos and our wedding. She thinks of every little thing and gets some of the most amazing shots, and I cannot stress enough, she makes you feel so chill during such a crazy time! We would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Pricing is totally fair and communication is SO easy. We wish she could follow us around and capture every little moment of our lives!
Jess was really great for a photographer for our fall outdoor wedding!! We picked Jess based on the style of her photos and her laid back personallity. Jess felt like one of the ...
group for the whole day and was able to make everyone feel comfortable! Even the flower girls that were very nervous. She let us know ahead of time that her second photographer couldn't make it and she didn't even need that second photographer based on her great shots! Jess also did a great job dealing with our huge families and large wedding parties to get all the best photos. We especially love her more creative shots, but our formal ones are great too! Highly recommend her as a photographer if you want someone to tell you to take a break for yourself while also capturing the day beautifully! Thanks Jess!
loved using jess for our wedding + happy to share with other potential couples that she's wonderful + you should choose her!

hotos. She is calm, kind, creative, organized, and such a cool human being on top of being SO TALENTED.
We met her on the day of and she was perfect for what we were looking for. We didn't want our photography to be overly time consuming and wanted them to feel like a part of the day without being a distraction from spending time with friends and family.
Jess was perfect. So far we have received our teasers and they are phenomenal. She took us outside to shoot at sunset which are some of my favorite photos so far! She was also very flexible when I wanted to add another hour onto our day of photography to capture first dances.
I love that our photos are not overly brightened, are natural, incorporate the environment, capture our big day, and that Jess allowed Rob and I (my husband) to spend some individual time together on the day of by sneaking off for a quick photo session at sunset.
One thing you hear about weddings is that they fly by. Jess helped us to escape through her photography. We can't thank you enough Jess!!!!! I highly recommend her to anyone searching in the Ohio area. You will not regret it!

ail and being an out of town couple, we did not meet until the wedding day. Our bridal party loved working with Jess and she was so friendly and personable and made everyone feel comfortable. Her photos really capture the moment and her artistic ability to see light allowed our photos to turn out better than we could have imagined!

ho really put a focus on capturing the unposed and artistic photos! I'm beyond grateful that we found Jessica, because not only did our pictures turn out so much better than I could have ever hoped for, but she was amazing to work with. I was worried that having a photographer would be awkward, but Jessica was down to earth and make taking our pictures fun! I can't wait to work with her again!

ont of a camera but as soon as we met Jessica before we officially booked her we knew we were making the right decision! I think it’s important to find a photographer who makes you feel comfortable and as though you aren’t actually getting formal photos, rather just enjoying time with your significant other and pictures are being taken in the background- this is Jess! She is so warm and friendly and has this calming presence that really put us at ease during our engagement shoot and got us more comfortable before pictures on the big day. Being with Jess on our wedding day was like being with an old friend, the whole experience was enjoyable and she continued to offer encouragement and positive words along the way.
Jess has an eye for creative shots and I didn’t always see what she saw when we tried some different backgrounds on our wedding day and then I totally understood the magic when we got the final images back! My husband and I are thrilled with our wedding photos and I believe she captured our relationship and our day in a very genuine way- we are so thankful! Our friends and family love the photos and every time they see our photos they say how awesome they are. Since we’ve shared our photos with those close to us many have asked who our photographer was and several of them mentioned a friend or family member who used Jessica Love Photography for their big day as well. Our shared response is omg her photos are so beautiful and she is so great to work with! It’s the little things that continue to remind me how lucky we were to have her capture our day, I would choose Jess again and again!

erall calmness and knew I wanted someone to help us feel comfortable that day. I cannot rave enough about our photos she captured as well and even added a touch of her artistic originality which really made it that more special. The day after our wedding Jessica texted us some teaser photos she had and it was perfect reminiscing on our way back home to Charlotte. Jessica also captured so many moments for us that I don't regret not having a Videographer. Anyone looking for an amazing, kind, and responsive person, you should book with Jessica! Plus her pictures are STUNNING!!

to feel so comfortable, Jessica was down to stay until we felt like we had captured our various "visions". Seriously it was 95° and she was not about to quit even when we were. :) additionally, we were THRILLED with the results and then got a second surprise a few weeks later with film shots. ❤ I can't speak enough about how detailed and dedicated Jessica is to her craft. Going to love looking at our photos forever.

My husband and I are really not that big on taking "posed" photographs. We also had a very high bar in terms of what we wanted our photographer to capture (as I'm sure everyone does). We wanted interesting, thoughtful, candid photos of the day that captured every moment and emotion. We also wanted someone who could take spontaneous photos throughout the day and capture some amazing moments without "posing". They exceeded every expectation on this.
My pictures are so creative and beautiful. I would highly recommend her to anyone! We are having a hard time narrowing down 75 photos for our wedding album as we love them all!
Beyond being true artists, they're just GREAT people! Thank you jessica love photography for capturing our priceless memories we will cherish them forever and more!

s engaged - she was my first choice vendor and photographer. She was SO worth it. Her photos can speak for her talent - but let me tell you that you want someone like Jess by your side on the most exciting and nervewracking day of your life. I had gained (more than) a few pounds and wasn't feeling the most beautiful, but Jess and her second shooter knew exactly which angles to shoot and how to really encourage us (on a cold, dreary Cleveland winter day) and coax out the love and happiness we all had. Our poor bridal party suffered through outdoor photos (my request) and once they saw the photos it was universally agreed that the experience was worth it. Jess took the time to really get to know each one of us and my bridesmaids walked away so impressed that the photog knew them by name. Jess was so patient and kind with everyone, even with our demanding parents as they asked to take more and more photos. Bottom line is - a photo doesn't just reflect the subject, it also reflects the personality of the person behind the lens. Jess's warmth and excitement is exactly what you'll want on your wedding day!
