Jermaine Horton Photography

hy and our videos are absolutely beautiful!

ryone loved him and his team. He is a true artist and always gets the best shots. I would use him again in an instant!

questions we had. He does whatever he needs to get the perfect shot. We are in awe of our photos and loved how he was able to capture so many amazing moments. Are guests can't stop talking as well. Jermaine is worth the price and will not disappoint. He even managed to finish our pictures early. Let me not forget to mention he is also a ball of energy and fun! It felt like another good friend celebrating with us, but with a camera lol. If you hire Jermaine you are sure to have beautiful pictures and memories to cherish for years to come. Definitely hope to work with him again in the future.

ing a pandemic was hectic, but he was reassuring throughout the entire process. He was fun to work with the day of too! We got our completed videos about two months after our wedding and they are all AMAZING. We received a 5 minute highlight, a 10 minute minifilm, and a full film that includes ceremony, speeches, dances, etc. The videos are so high quality, and honestly so much more than I was expecting. His pricing was extremely fair and he delivered great customer service and an amazing product. I'm so happy I can relive the day over and over again. Jermaine does not disappoint!

tail oriented. He paid attention to some of the smallest things but made them huge. The entire day he remind us how great the day was going and how well it was going to go. Our bridal party loved him. His work just speaks for itself. Jermaine shot our engagement and wedding photos, he’s easy to contact and worth every penny. Ashley H

e Knot. 😍But honestly Jermaine is a one of a kind photographer. He has felt like family since our first meeting. He even took my engagement photos in New York!! He takes the time to understand your vision and will fight for every photo. I never felt so beautiful until my wedding photos came out. We had a very long wedding full of Nigerian traditions thoughtout the day. Jermaine supported me throughout the day. I have photos from all 3 outfits I had as well as so many funny memories. Jermaine fought for me to get my favorite shot done while we were waiting on my very late family to enter the reception. You will not regret hiring Jermaine. He will take the pressure off the day and makes you feel like a queen. Jermaine was my favorite vendor and worth all the money. Your photos and video will bring so many happy memories. I'm sure whenever I have kids I'll be making a much needed trip back to Chicago to have maternity photos. As my friend Lauren says we found our forever photographer!!

His passion for what he does truly shows on the day of and through his AMAZING pictures. Jermaine is flexible to work with and was very understanding of the crazy circumstances during this pandemic. Jermaine made us feel comfortable from the very beginning during our engagement shoot. At our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful he was and how he got all the angles! We have received so many compliments on his work and creativity! I have never seen work from a photographer like I have with Jermaine. His style is unique and I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for beautiful candid photos. I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience with Jermaine!

n Photography experience was beyond our expectations. During our first meeting he went over the technical aspects of shooting, and why each shot comes out a certain way. He made us feel very comfortable in his abilities, and that no matter the lighting, weather, or setting, he will get the shot. Every picture he took for our wedding looked exceptional. He shot with meticulous detail, but also an infectious upbeat attitude. You're not only getting a photographer with a great eye, but a great personality. Every contact you have with him has you feeling like you've known him for years. As a fellow Bears fan it made it easy to get along with Jermaine; seeing as he too bleeds Navy and Orange. Jermaine always gets it done. He would go from joking around to stoic quickly, trying to figure out the perfect angle, the perfect lighting, the perfect whatever he thought would work. There were certain times I would think to myself "I think this will look weird" but I trusted his gut. When the pictures came in I realized how much of a fool I'd have to be to doubt him! No one puts in the work like Jermaine to crush the photo game. If you are looking for the best, this is where you will find it.

d at them 1000 times. Everyone at the wedding also mentioned how much they liked Jermaine and how interactive and fun he was. He does quality work and you can tell he has a serious passion for this. By far one of the best decisions we made for our special day was to book him!

d it shows in his work. His extremely warm personality set the atmosphere of capturing our most memorable day. Weddings, as we know, are stressful, expensive and time consuming, yet, as I reflect today my photography selection is the ONLY thing I didn’t go back to and say what I would’ve wanted done differently. When people see our pictures, they don’t comment on us, they always say we had an amazing photographer. I’m willing to share that compliment - as I will strategically create moments for him to capture us again.

ut to be the best decision EVER! From beginning to end he was nothing short of professional, fun and reassuring he would make me love my photos! Well my wedding was October 5th and we had TERRIBLE weather (down pours) but we managed to knock out some pretty amazing shots! He makes you feel relaxed and like he’s been your friend for years and he’s just shooting you! His work speaks for itself aside from his amazing personality! You can truly tel he enjoys what he does and lets himself have fun doing it! He will be out on the dance floor with you or dancing while getting some shots! My husband, bridal party and guests still bring up how awesome he is! If your looking for an amazing photographer that will do whatever to get the amazing shots this guy is your man!

as literally petrified!! I thought to myself what will I do, I’m not photogenic, I barely know how to smile in a picture and have it speak to my warm personality. What if the pictures turn out ugly, what if one of the best days of my life that I wanted treasured in photos was ruined by shoddy cheesy pictures? What if they are too scared to embrace my vision for getting photos at a waterfall as my fiancé had proposed at a waterfall?! I was so scared! That is until I got the courage to post a message on FB seeking recommendations for a photographer and someone tagged Jermaine and recommended him. When I tell you from the moment I talked to him on the telephone, with every passing moment he started to ease my anxieties, he was very patient, answered all of my questions, reassured me that he could bring out my natural photogenic abilities and scream my personality through my photos, but must importantly make my fiancé comfortable in the same regard (he initially hated pictures lol). Jermaine assured me that he could tell our love story via pics and he proved every bit of what he said plus more!!! He not only found us the most beautiful waterfall in the Chicagoland area in a beautiful natural park that honed so many aspects of things my fiancé and I both loved we both nearly cried! Upon meeting Jermaine he was so personable and by the middle of our photo shoot he had me and my fiancé both laughing, smiling, full of confidence and feeling like he was our long lost BFF. It was amazing! From there our engagement photo sneak peek took me to tears of happiness, left my fiancé with the biggest smile on his face and we received so many compliments on how beautiful our photos were that we lost count! We knew we just had to have Jermaine be our photographer for our wedding!!! Fast forward to our wedding 7/5/19, was the weather sunny and perfect for outdoor ceremony? Yes it was!!! Right along with it being 90 degrees with high humidity levels!!! Omg!! You would think that would discourage our photographer to want to make all of our photos inside during the reception and cheesy to beat the heat, not ours! Jermaine jumped right in as the professional expert he is, leveraged and planned timing so perfectly so that we weren’t in the heat and we were still able to get beautiful pictures during the day time and at sunset. As a bride this brought me so much peace! One more thing...Having a big wedding time flies at a fast pace and it’s truly hard to take everything in...the next day as we relaxed for a day before heading off to our honeymoon we began to chat about the things that we thought we might have missed or just wondered had it happened; was it there, did you see it/them? That is until we received our wedding photos back and saw the our beautiful wedding pictures literally painted as a instant replay of our day. Only this time slowed down to allow us to take a deep breath and take it all in. He captured things that we really missed the day of our wedding and here I was in tears of happiness all over again. Words could never describe our thanks! His work is exceptional, beautiful and downright fantastic!!! He was phenomenal to work with holistically and is an EXPERT at his craft!!! I recommend him times a trillion and you would be crazy to book with anybody else!!!

ce I saw it, that was that. I pestered my then fiancé repeatedly, fully dedicated to convincing him that we did in fact, need a photographer. Not just any photographer, THIS photographer. And we also needed engagement photos and another baby and yearly family photos after that so that we could continue to use Jermaine foreva eva. And yes, that is how I approached convincing my man that we needed to hire Jermaine. And so we did. Obviously. Our initial shoot with Jermaine was for our engagement photos and they were sooooo beautiful. Working with him was easy and fun and he made my fiancé feel like he was way better at being a model than he actually was. The turnaround was quick and we were beyond happy with the photos. Same with our wedding photos. Jermaine and his partner were attentive, took photos that were beautiful and meaningful to us, and they just know how to get THAT shot. It is genuinely so amazing to see artists in their element, and Jermaine is no exception—I was in awe of his eye for the perfect shot, the perfect poses, capturing the perfect lighting. Simply put, the experience couldn’t have been better. Our wedding photos are everything we could have asked for, and we have received countless praises on his work. Can’t wait to have more babies for Jermaine to photograph. I’m also not opposed to another wedding, just to use him again. Don’t tell my husband tho.

has such an amazing personality and is beyond talented. At our first meeting he took the time out to explain everything in great detail not only that but made the whole process easy and fun. He kept everyone laughing and giggling the whole time.... And the pictures/ shots that he got! Just the sneak peak was enough to make me cry and I am beyond exited for the finished product. Whatever you do book Jermaine you absolutely will not regret it!

t. Jermaine not only took amazing photographs for the wedding he also brought amazing energy with him. He made everyone feel extremely comfortable while taking pictures. He felt like he was apart of the family. Jermaine did an amazing job capturing my big day and I can’t thank him enough!

cheap route with a photographer and hated their photos, so I prioritized a good one for the budget. The moment I got on the phone with Jermaine, I knew he was the one. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He answered all of my questions and seemed very confident so I booked him. I didn't regret it! He was on time, focused, professional but super funny and friendly. It felt like he was family. Then when I got my pictures (Never had to ask or remind him), I could have cried! He captured everything and really brought it back to life, because the day FLYS so fast when you look back on it, its all a blur. Needless to say, I would 100% recommend Jermaine.

other photographers that I was considering at the time. As soon as we talked over the phone I just knew he was the right person for the job. It was like talking to an old friend. He is very professional and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is also very funny. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together so we were a little nervous at first but Jermaine captured our engagement and wedding photos so beautifully! He is so fun to be around and knows how to capture the right moments. I also love how he does a sneak peak of a few photos within a day or two for couples to see. Jermaine has become more like a friend to me during the short time I have known him and I'm so happy I made that gut decision! If you are looking for someone that not only takes traditional photos but also knows how to be creative and capture shots that you wouldn't normally see this is the guy to book! Thanks again Jermaine for everything!!

e was the first photographer I contacted, his energy and passion made me feel safe, so I booked him. My husband and I did our engagement and wedding day photos with Jermaine. Now my husband absolutely hates taking pictures, but with Jermaine's direction he was able to participate and even enjoy the experience. There were some hiccups with other vendors that threw our schedule off on our wedding day. But Jermaine was on time and proceeded to shoot for the entire 10hrs in order to ensure the groom and I were happy with the photos he was able to capture. Overall, Jermaine is truly gifted and you can tell that he loves what he does. He made us feel comfortable and provided us with photos that take our breath away every time we look at them. I don't consider myself to be very photogenic, but Jermaine made me look beautiful and I intend on finding reasons to do photo shoots in the future (maternity, family, etc..) because of him lol. I highly recommend him to any future bride. He's well worth the $$ and will not be one of the people/vendors you'll regret inviting!

e of this wedding process, we really did have the best day of our lives and we will treasure it forever. For two people who were very much out of their element you were patient, understanding and clear in your communications. Thank you for the late nights, the never ending emails, the laughter and the memories. Everyone who you encountered at our wedding were blown away by the cohesion and beauty in every aspect of our day, you captured memories we will cherish forever. Jermaine is so much more than a photographer, he is an genius, a true artist with a heart of gold who goes above and beyond on all occasions. His knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication are just amazing. He is a rarity and a diligent professional, and a celebrity in his own right, from the little details to the overall picture He made our day absolutely perfect. People don’t believe us when we said we never felt stress, only joy, but it’s true. A small THANK YOU for a BIG job. Much much love Michael and Lisa Staehle xoxo

t so much thought in each moment he was trying to capture and how he wants that moment portrayed in the photo. Additionally, Jermaine was so amazing with our wedding party and guest. He has so much fun with you which I think puts everyone at ease and helps him to capture those beautiful and fun moments of your special day. So many people talk about how fast their wedding goes and how much they miss. With Jermaine catching every moment, I felt like I didn't miss a thing after seeing the pictures. Jermaine-you understood our vision for our pictures and you captured it. Thank you for capturing memories we will have for the rest of our life!

l before Time.. he called to say he was outside taking shots and would be up soon. Once getting to the room he went to working his magic!! I was getting makeup and hair done in the room. I was so ahead of schedule we watched the Bears game! I’m sure I’m his favorite Bride by now! Fast forward !! Once I arrived at the venue! He was right there getting those shots that I didn’t think about! During the ceremony he was amazing. Directing people out of my way. Unplugged never works. But his voice did!! I love this guy! The Best money iv’ve ever spent !!!! Now right at the beginning of the reception before we walked in !! The wedding party entered. I left this 1 job up to husband. Well 2 jobs Secure the DJ and the Mc. Well he secured the Dj... and my Photographer Jermaine stepped right on in...Microphone in one hand announcing us and camera in the other!! Multi task is his middle name!! He saved my wedding reception!! And did it so graciously!! He made sure that his Bride was happy and that my wedding ran smoothly!! That shows his character and his personality speaks for itself!! You can’t go wrong having him as your photographer!! Oh yeah!!! I’ve known this guy for over 10 years and not once did I ask for a discount!! And I love his work so much!! I changed my wedding date to make sure he was my photographer.. it was really that serious!!

one picture of me with my husband that's just a regular non candid pic of us. Everything else is either an artistic pic where you can only see our silhouette or an action shot where my mouth is open. I understand that it rained the day of our wedding and that threw everything out of order. I knew I should have been more mindful of having him take pics of us but I was so overwhelmed I didn't think of it. I feel like for $2000 he should have taken control and made sure we had pictures of the two of us. I'm actually kind of happy I only got one of the frames I registered for because I only have one picture I can use.

ork with. We chose a complete package that included an engagement session. My husband and I wanted a music themed engagement/wedding so we did our engagement photos in a record store. Our engagement photos turned out fabulous! Jermaine had so many creative ideas and made us feel comfortable. We got countless compliments on our engagement photos so we knew he would do a great job at our wedding. On our wedding day Jermaine did a great job working with our other vendors and keeping us on our timeline. He was cracking jokes and having fun with us and our bridal party the whole day. He made everyone feel comfortable and have a great time. He even stopped traffic and asked a random man driving down the street if he could stand on the flat bed of his truck so he could get the perfect shot! He was able to give us about 6 "sneak peek" photos the very next day and every single one of those photos came out amazing. We just got back all of the rest of our photos from our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Thank you Jermaine for all of your hard work!

other brides and vendors in the area. Made planning without a wedding coordinator that much easier. He made us feel so comfortable and let us just be ourselves and not look over-posed. Even when I threw a wrench in his shot plans he made accommodations for myself and my family. Truly has an eye for getting one of a kind shots. Coming from a very large family I wanted a picture with everyone and he was able to make getting the group shot quick and painless. He even gets down on the dance floor! Very personable guy! Such and amazing experience and without a doubt I would not have been able to get through the day without him! If I could give him 10 stars I would. Book him now, you won’t regret it!! 😊

moment. Jermaine is truly a man of talent, and I recommend him to anyone; not just newlyweds, looking for amazing photos to consider him and his beautiful work.

to do that still looked natural. He knew what we was doing so they day went so smoothly and we stayed on schedule the entire day. He is such an easy going, friendly, honest photographer and will tell you exactly what looks best, which is amazing! We have only seen a handful of our photos so far and were already blown away. If all I got was the five or six "sneak-peek" pictures that he's shared, I'd already be happy. They are amazing and he works so hard to make sure you're comfortable and the photos turn out amazing. All I can say is trust in him and you WILL NOT be disappointed. He has the most incredible work and I cannot wait to see what else is to come from our perfect day!!

ve had Jermaine capture such an important day. We were looking for someone who offered quality in their work and he definitely exceeded our expectations! He is also an honest, perfectionist and fun person to have around and I am honored to recommend Jermaine Horton Photography for your wedding! <3

d usually has a forced smile... there is no being uncomfortable around Jermaine. He managed to capture my absolute favorite picture ever of my husband!! We are so grateful for everything you did on our day and I cannot wait to see the rest of the fabulous shots. I knew once we booked with you that we would not have to worry about a thing!

walk around with a camera, he has fun WITH you. I can't say enough good things about him! Unbelevably talented photographer!

y were wonderful. He is full of energy and will do whatever it takes to get the best shot. Not to mention he becomes a friend. My son and his daughter even enjoyed a carnival together while we worked out some last minute details. He goes above and beyond for his clients and I will always recommend him. He had a sneak peek available the next day and all photos were edited shortly after. He was one of the best details about my wedding and I couldn’t thank him enough. He always has great suggestions whether it’s for photography or any other detail pertaining to your big day. My Dj backed out very last minute and Jermain saved the day by having a friend of his (professional DJ) fill in. You will not regret booking him!!

lity of work, and the fact that he is so much fun to be around, all make him one of the ABSOLUTE best to work with! If you are looking for a great photographer/videographer that will give you an UNFORGETTABLE experience, look no further than Jermaine Horton! -JWill4Real

just taking, and so I booked him. I was not disappointed! through the process of planning the wedding he was helpful in me making the day of itinerary as well as anything else a wedding professional could help with. The day of my wedding he was amazing and crucial part of how things went. He was so fun, had lots of ideas and direction, but was also super flexible and made it happen if I had an idea in mind. Everything turned out beautifully and got to me quickly!

lighting, between an indoor ceremony and an outdoor reception. He was a BLAST to work with. My entire wedding party (both the boys and the girls) said how much fun he was. He has an amazing eye for great pictures and I will be recommending him to anyone who asks.

im to everyone and anyone and booking him for all of my occasions. Thank you!!

e Priceless nd Beautiful.

5 guests wonderfully and made everybody feel comfortable! His pictures are absolutely amazing and I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life! A little piece of advice for future brides... trust Jermaine‘s vision! He absolutely knows what he is doing! 5 stars for this amazing photographer!

uldn’t deliver me what I was wanting. Looking at Jermaines photos I thought A. I wouldn’t be able to afford his incredible work and B. He wouldn’t be available. Little did I know both would work themselves out and I was able to book him for my December wedding! One of the best wedding decisions I made! He helped me so much with more aspects then just photography during the process! We talked everyday from the time we booked to currently still checking in everyday. Growing so close, he even stood up and made a speech at our wedding which brought tears to our eyes. We also not only danced together during the reception but he was the main dance partner for my daughter. Who to this day talks so much about how we need another event to invite Jermaine to! He becomes not only your favorite photographer but will also become a friend and family! His work will blow any others away and can not wait to continuing using him for family sessions in the further. His eye for detail and editing styles definitely separate him from the rest. I will always recommend him to any one looking for a photographer. He became my favorite photographer as I became and gained the real title of his favorite bride! We love you Jermaine and seriously so happy we chose you to take our pictures! #myfavoritephotographer #hisfavoritebride #family

e will cherish forever!!! We had a couple family members asks if he was a close friend which shows his down to earth and lovable personality! We couldn’t have ask for a better person!!!!
