If you want the most amazing, fun, and encouraging HMU artist then Jennifer is your girl!! Jennifer is extremely experienced and dedicated to her craft. She is prompt, she ...
is ALWAYS prepared for whatever you may need, she is organized, and she is professional. But beyond the amazing artist that she is, she is an even more amazing person and friend. Whether you know her or not, you will leave after being with her knowing that you have made a new friend. She will bring the perfect energy to your special day. She not only listens to exactly how you want your hair and makeup but she listens to anything and everything else you have to say- giving you the exact support and love that you need. Her heart of gold truly shines and there is no one that I would trust more with my hair and makeup than JAB!!!
Oh and I forgot to mention- she is the most amazing photographer as well!! We did a boudoir shoot together and there is truly no greater hype girl. She made me feel so confident and comfortable the entire time. Hands down there is no one better!
Not only do Jennifer and team do amazing work, but they are straight up FUN to hang out with in the bridal suite while getting ready!!! I’ve never had luck keeping hair and makeup ...
in tact, but my hair and makeup both stayed flawless throughout the entire night!!
Jennifer is the best!
She is so incredibly talented and so fun.
She made me feel so beautiful on my special day!
Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
I can't thank Jennifer enough for making me feel like an absolute beauty on my wedding day. I never really wear makeup, and when I do, it's just eyeshadow, so I was worried of how ...
foundation and eyelashes would feel (I didn't want it to feel heavy or sticky). But I swear, it didn't feel like I was wearing makeup at all! First of all, Jennifer's communication is unmatched- she will literally respond to you within minutes, and address any questions you have with kindness. Second, she is so sweet and a pleasure to talk to. She is an amazing hype woman and makes you feel beautiful! Third, she honestly listens to you and NEVER says "that won't work" or "what you're asking for isn't doable." I would make some contradicting sounding requests, but she still worked her magic and made it happen. She never gets offended or upset when you point out something about your look that you don't like- she immediately gets to work on it until you are happy. I literally changed my eyeshadow shape about 6 times and felt so bad but she never complained nor showed any sort of negative emotion. She kept working at it until it was perfect- and it was perfect. I didn't know how high I wanted to have my hair, and she was like "we'll start low, and have you check, then keep fluffing it up until it's the height you want." You literally get to customize your look to a T! Fourth, she arrived early and was ready to get people in chairs 10 minutes earlier than expected, and she was finished earlier than expected, helping us run on time. Fifth, my makeup stayed on all night- and I cried about 506 times that day and it looked the same at 10 pm as it did at 12 pm. I was honestly a little annoyed I had to clean my face at the end of the night haha, I was hoping it all wore off but it didn't at all! There are absolutely no cons to hiring her, and trust me, you will want to splurge on her. I was able to have the best time at my wedding because I felt confident and beautiful. Trust me, you can't put a price on feeling your best, and your wedding day is no exception. I now want to start wearing makeup and have her show me what she did so I can feel gorgeous everyday. Thank you so much Jennifer, you are the best!
5 is not enough stars for the experience I had with Jennifer. She made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself and I received tons of compliments. She was so easy to work...
with and chat through my vision of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. I used her and her team for my bridesmaids as well and everyone looked STUNNING. Will go back to Jen for another event in the future.
Jennifer and her team were AMAZING to work with for our wedding hair and makeup! Jennifer really went above and beyond to make our entire experience seamless from my trial to the w...
edding day. During my trial, Jennifer helped bring my wedding hair vision to life and helped me realize I could wear my hair down and have it stay put all day even during the July heat! On our wedding day, Jennifer and her team helped make our "getting ready" experience relaxed and stress free! All of my bridesmaids and family looked amazing and I could not have asked for a better bridal hair/makeup experience. Thank you Jennifer!
I cannot recommend Jennifer and her team enough!!! I had my hair and makeup done when in a friend’s wedding back in June 2018 and KNEW right then that I absolutely had to have Jenn...
ifer do my wedding hair and makeup as soon as I could find someone to marry (haha!). She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She took lots of time with me during my hair and makeup trial to make sure I was extremely comfortable and happy with my wedding look. She was on time and brought absolutely EVERYTHING with her – literally sets up a hair and makeup studio for you and all of your ladies. All of my bridesmaids looked STUNNING and loved Jennifer and her team just as much as me!! All of our looks lasted ALL NIGHT LONG and all of our pictures turned out beautiful and I know all of our JAB glam is to thank!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JENNIFER!!! I simply can’t recommend you and your team enough! Looking forward to seeing you again for my best friend’s wedding this July!!
Jennifer is truly the best. I could not figure out how I wanted my hair for my wedding day and she was so patient with me! She was determined to help me figure it out and to make s...
ure I was excited - I am beyond grateful for her! My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup too! Jennifer had excellent communication, she was very organized, and also has such a fun personality/energy - which all made for the dream Hair and Makeup Artist. Jennifer is WICKED TALENETED (seriously can't emphasize that point enough) and I highly recommend her!
I don’t know where to start other than Jennifer made the process seamless. She was hands down one of the easiest vendors I worked with during my entire process of wedding planning....
If I could do it all over again- there would be people I wouldn’t bring back but I wouldn’t think twice about retaining Jennifer for HAMU services. From my bridal trial, accommodating last minute trials for my mother and future mother in law (who was out of town), to my wedding, Jennifer far exceeded every expectation and made my hair and makeup vision come to life.
On top of all of that, Jennifer communicated timely and her responses were clear! I was never left wondering or questioning. On the day of, Jennifer and Natalie were early and prepared to setup. We had a hiccup with the key to get in the building but because they were early we sailed through the timeline flawlessly. Jennifer even stayed after to help a family friend do her hair. I really can’t say enough good things about Jennifer- she truly was one of the best decisions of my entire wedding process. She makes the entire hair and makeup process so worth it! You won’t regret it.
Jennifer is the BEST! She is not only a hair and make up genius but also a big part of your planning team. She did hair & make up for my engagement shoot and wedding day…both diffe...
rent looks but perfect. Jennifer’s knowledge and passion comes through the first time you meet her, and she makes you feel so comfortable. She is extremely responsive and wants to make sure you are happy with your look. The wedding day went as smooth as it could have, Jennifer is early and brings everything you could possibly need! I highly recommend Jennifer for not only your wedding day but any events you need hair and make up.
Jennifer was the first vendor that I booked when I got engaged the summer of 2019 - and I stand by that choice. I would have moved my date if she wasn’t available. She also stayed ...
with me as I had to reschedule my October 2020 date to October 2021 - she responded immediately and was more than willing to reschedule me for a year later (which for a small business owner is not an easy move). I feel like you can look at Jennifer’s Instagram and website to see her beautiful hair and makeup looks - so I’ll focus my review on what you can’t see in pictures. Jennifer is the hype woman you need on your wedding day. She shows up ON-TIME (this has not been the case with other HMUAs for other weddings I’ve been in) and ORGANIZED with literally everything you could possibly imagine to set up her station (I even think she brought her own chairs hah!). I was so nervous on my wedding day - and I think Jennifer knew that - and she kept talking me through it and letting me take breaks to run to the bathroom / eat / drink water. She was essentially my extra bridesmaid while I was getting ready. Jennifer’s looks also last all night. Normally, I get super greasy grease make-up wise and was using delicate hair pins on my hair and I was very worried about what I was going to look like at 10 PM on my wedding night. Let me tell you - I looked the exact same at 10 PM as I did when Jennifer finished the look early that morning. My makeup did not look greasy at all and my hair pins stayed in tact despite crazy reception dancing. I think she sprayed like 3 different setting sprays on my face and she had me wiggle my hair pins to make sure I was comfortable with how secure it was. Book Jennifer ASAP before she books out!
Talented, Organized, Responsive, Professional

orough and attentive during your bridal trial, making sure your hair and make up are exactly what you are wanting. She asks lots of questions to arrive at the look you have envisioned for your wedding day. She is also very responsive, organized and an all around joy to be around! I loved having her and her team beautify me and my girls for my wedding!

ting on my turn to be a JAB Bride. She was my first vendor I reached out to without hesitation to glam me up. Day of she was early set up before we got there and was ahead of schedule!!! All of my bridesmaids looked amazing. I would definitely recommend Jennifer for your wedding, I am already looking for reasons to book her again.
If I could give Jennifer and her team more than 5 stars, I would! The most fun, organized, and professional group of ladies to work with. Jennifer listened to my wants and needs fo...
r my hair and makeup and truly delivered. She also created a timeline so my experience was seamless the morning on my wedding. The icing on the cake is how much fun they were! Truly couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the day. If you want a stress-free experience, and incredible hair & makeup services look no further. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

as the skills and talent for hair and makeup application, but she is a BOSS when it comes to running her business. She is detail-oriented, organized, has amazing quality products and ensured cleanliness of tools and products, especially during COVID-19. Jennifer always makes sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire process and that you love the end result. My bridesmaids raved about her and her team!
Jennifer also does Boudoir Photo Sessions, hair and makeup included, and she is sooo talented with a camera too!! I felt FLAWLESS and so CONFIDENT! She is such an amazing hype woman, knew ALL the right angles and lighting, and I had so much fun! As for my wedding photos, WOW! I had so many compliments that day, and my hair and makeup radiated in photos. The day of, she made sure I felt comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful. I can't thank her enough for being on my side and ensuring my day went according to plan!
I am so fortunate to have had JAB as my wedding vendor!! She is one of my TOP FAVES! If you want a compassionate, hard working, highly skilled hair and makeup artist, look no further!!

ids and my mom feel 100% beautiful and confident on the wedding day. Her team was warm, hilarious and beyond professional. They set a great tone for the entire wedding day and bridal party.
Jennifer also has the CUTEST studio and working through my hair and makeup trial with her was one of the best parts of wedding planning in my opinion.
I cannot recommend investing in Jennifer and her team's skill set enough for your big day. Her prices are affordable and the outcome with absolutely blow you away!!! She is the best at what she does!
The second I saw Jennifer's work, I knew I HAD to have her. She was recommended by our wedding planner, and I FREAKED. OUT. when I saw her Instagram because I was afraid she was al...
ready booked. She is incredibly popular (and should be!!), so try and book her as quickly as possible. It is more than worth it.
I have strawberry-blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin with a pink undertone, and I have NEVER had a makeup artist who could do my makeup well. I've been to Clinique, Sephora, etc., and every person wanted to do something that was either for "blondes" or "redheads," but after I review Jennifer's work and saw that she was also a redhead, I knew she would know how to handle my makeup.
Not to mention that her up-dos are incredible. I like to think that I have a pretty discerning eye when it comes to this because there are several people who can do very pretty, basic updos, but hers are exceptional. They are carefully crafted, unique, and dance-proof!
I did my bridal portraits and my wedding day with Jennifer and that was the best decision! We got to experiment and decide what I ultimately wanted on the wedding day. Jennifer is also just a super fun, grounded person, so my mom and I loved getting to be with her!
I knew that if nothing else (because we all know how much can go wrong at a wedding), I would at least look beautiful on my wedding day because of Jennifer. And WOW was I right. I could not have felt more confident!
She is the absolute best of the best!!! Do yourself a favor and go ahead and hire her!
Where do I begin? Jennifer is an absolute dream to work with! I found her on Instagram and was impressed by her talent, but little did I know, she is SO sweet and wonderful to be a...
round. She honestly made the morning of my wedding so fun, stress free, and it truly felt like I was with a longtime friend. My bridesmaids LOVED her. She responds quickly to every email and message, and spends ample amount of time for trial periods to listen and adjust to each request to get the exact look I wanted- she totally nailed it. She is really remarkable, and my hair and makeup had more compliments than anything on that day! I will absolutely be working with her again in the future- her fun personality and talent for hair and makeup are true gifts. She exceeded my expectations. Thank you SO much, Jennifer!!
Jennifer is so kind, flexible, professional, and TALENTED! I knew I wanted to use her for my hair and makeup from the beginning of wedding planning based on all the rave reviews I ...
have heard from others and her amazing pictures on Instagram. She has such a gift that is so obvious in how she made me feel so genuinely beautiful and confident on my wedding day and truly listened to the look I was going for. I do not often wear much make up and she made me feel beautiful while also still feeling like myself. I would definitely recommend Jennifer!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer. It all started with my hair and makeup trial - I was completely frazzled about scheduling and Jennifer was SO accommodating and r...
eassuring - I rescheduled two days before a snow storm, no problems at all. She had multiple clients that day, and it was a Friday so I’m sure she had a busy upcoming weekend, and could have EASILY told me she couldn’t do it that day - but she fit me in without hesitation. I have not met a lot of people in the wedding industry who do things like that - so amazing. My actual trial was awesome, I had no idea what hair I wanted and she tried so many styles and showed me pictures, all while being so nice and fun that I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. She is SO talented. My makeup trial was awesome too, she knew exactly what I wanted despite by bad explanation ha! It just all way way overly exceeded my expectations. And she gave me some tips on how to keep my skin moisturized (her skin is amazing) until the wedding.
On my wedding day, Jennifer and Krista showed up right on time with a full setup, it was so awesome - chairs, tables, lighting. They were so fun and made my whole bridal party and moms look amazing, they all felt really comfortable thanks to Jennifer and Krista.
I have truly never felt more beautiful than my wedding day - Jennifer is a true star. My makeup was perfect and stayed perfect all day/night. My hair was perfect and stayed perfect all day/night. I am STILL getting compliments on my hair and makeup and the bridal party hair and makeup, almost two months later. Honestly, hair and makeup is something that can make or break your day, so do yourself a favor and book Jennifer - she will make you look your best self (and she’s so sweet that you will have a really fun day getting ready)!!
Our wedding was a destination wedding in the mountains of NC so I knew trying to find a hair and makeup artist would be a challenge since I was not familiar with the area . I had a...
vision in my mind of what I dreamed of for hair and makeup. After multiple days of stalking local weddings I came across Jennifer on Instagram and immediately knew she was the one. From the first moment I contacted Jennifer she was kind, professional, and extremely down to earth and I knew she was the one I wanted for my big day. I flew to NC for some last minute planning a month before and did my bridal trial with her. She spends a great deal of time not only making you feel comfortable but also trying to capture every vision I had of what I wanted for my hair and makeup down to the shape of my brows. The day of the wedding she styled not only me but my flower girl, bridesmaids and the mother's and every single girl felt like the most beautiful girl in the room. My wedding day hair and makeup was a dream, the perfect mix of styled but not overdone. I wish I could keep her with me to do my makeup everyday! Honestly if you're looking for someone who is beyond the sweetest, EXTREMELY talented, detail oriented and patient, then you want to hire Jennifer for your wedding day! Thank you Jen for making me feel the most beautiful girl on the planet ❤️

e time (even when you need be still haha!) I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. It was worth every penny to not worry that I might not like my hair or make up and her sense of humor kept me distracted/calm while getting ready. Can't forget to give credit to Krista who helped Jennifer on my wedding day to beautify my mom, bridesmaids, and flower girl. They are both so talented and I'm forever grateful for Jennifer Abercrombie Beauty :)
I was lucky enough to find Jennifer on Instagram when looking for a local MUA and I think that is the single best stroke of luck I had during my wedding planning. She made me feel ...
right at home from the moment I walked into her studio. She is genuine, honest, and funny which makes her a joy to work with, and she is also incredibly talented!! I was floored when I saw the photos from my wedding - she is an absolute miracle worker. In the midst of everyone running around, she is calm, cool, and collected and helped keep me sane during a very stressful morning. I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer - if you are looking for a makeup artist, look no further. Book early as shes in high demand!
I followed Jennifer on instagram for almost two years leading up to my wedding. Even before my fiancé (now husband) proposed, I knew I would want Jennifer to do my wedding hair and...
make up. If you have any doubts, just follow her on Instagram! She is extremely talented, but more than that she is so sweet. After only 5 minutes I felt like I had known her my entire life. She is so professional - I never had to worry about a thing.
Her and her incredible team showed up right on time and were set up and ready to go. My mom was so nervous about not feeling beautiful on my day, and they made her feel like a pretty pretty princess.
If you are considering becoming a Jennifer Abercrombie Beauty (JAB) bride, book early! She is in high demand and you do not want to pass up on feeling your absolute best on your wedding day!!! I could go on and on, but many other five star reviews hit on all of the high points!

wedding day and everyone kept complimenting on how great our makeup looked! She also did my mom's hair which stayed humidity free (no frizzyness) and intact the entire night. TRUST THE PROCESS aka let her do her thing because you won't regret it!

the best H&MU they have ever gotten for a wedding. She is the absolute best and I will recommend her for anyone & use her for any events upcoming! Thank you again Jennifer :)

ing done for my wedding. Jennifer immediately put me at ease during our trial and tailored my look to be exactly what I wanted. She was able to make me look just like my natural self, but a more beautiful and radiant version! My wedding day look was unbelievable!! My hair and makeup could not have been more perfect. She managed to make me feel comfortable, calm and drop dead gorgeous. I will 100% go to Jennifer anytime I ever need hair and makeup. She is such a gem!!!
Jennifer made me feel absolutely beautiful for my special day! Her energy and kindness are infectious and I highly recommend her!

al party's hair and makeup into a tight timeline so that I could work out some transportation logistics for my girls (she might need to add planner/coordinator to her title!) I didn't know exactly what kind of look I wanted on the wedding day, so during my hair & makeup trial, she was patient and reassuring as we worked out my final look together. On the wedding day, Jennifer and her assistant Michaela were prompt and efficient. Every wedding I've ever been in always seems to fall behind on the ladies' hair and makeup schedule. Somehow, despite one bridesmaid being under the weather and late to arrive and another having forgotten to dry her hair, Jennifer and Michaela had us all finished on time and everyone looked stunning. They knew the right questions to ask and listened carefully in order to determine their styling approach for every individual. They pulled off every type of look from light and natural for the moms and younger girls to a more glamorous look for me and everything in between. Jennifer is extremely talented and was very fun to be around! I can say that I was 100% happy with how I looked on the most special day of my life, and for that I cannot thank Jennifer enough!
Jennifer is the best! I met her when she did my makeup when I was in my friend's wedding party. It was an easy choice after that and I booked her for my own wedding. She is very kn...
owledgeable and asks plenty of questions to make sure she is achieving the look you desire. For example, I wanted a textured updo with looser pieces framing my face. She advised me to have my hairstylist cut my hair a certain way so that I could pull of this style. She took my super smooth, fine hair and worked her magic. I was also lucky to have her do my makeup for my engagement session. If you are nervous about your look or don't wear a lot of makeup, I would recommend doing this. Outside of the bridal trial, which is included in the cost of your wedding day makeup, it helped me to have a comparison. I was able to see my engagement photos and see how the makeup appeared. This helped me decide to go a little more glam/dramatic even though it was not my instinct. On camera, you see less makeup and it's more about highlighting your features. Most importantly, I felt beautiful and I felt like a bride. People were asking for Jennifer's info at the wedding! I will definitely pass her name along.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Jen is truly the best in the business! I did my bridal trial with her as well as day of makeup/ hair, and she was always so attentive, sweet, and most im...
portantly, on time! She listened to what I wanted and was able to bring enough staff to get myself, bridesmaids, and our moms ready ahead of schedule. Loved her, can't recommend enough.
Jennifer is out of this world amazing! She did a fantastic job on my makeup for our engagement shoot, and on my hair and makeup for our wedding day. Jennifer makes everything seem ...
so effortless and natural, and she and her team really take the time to ensure you're in love with their work. I wouldn't have wanted to "kick off" our wedding day with anyone else but Jennifer and her team. They are so incredibly friendly, personable and fun, my bridesmaids and I didn't want to say goodbye to them when our makeup and hair were done! THANK YOU JENNIFER for not only making us look and feel beautiful, but for being part of our day and morning celebration! We were so thankful for your amazing talent and energy!

Jennifer Abercrombie was one of, if not the BEST decision I made when planning my wedding. Ladies who are looking for a makeup artist: Jennifer is the makeup artist to choose. I ha...
d looked through her website before meeting her and thought all her previous brides looked radiant without looking like their makeup was caked on. This was my greatest concern when looking for a makeup artist: wanting to look and feel beautiful without looking and feeling like there was a TON of makeup caked on my face. Meeting Jennifer for my makeup trial was reassurance that I had made the right decision. Her personality is FABULOUS. She is the most upbeat, encouraging woman & was SO VALUABLE on my wedding day. I, much like many other brides, was experiencing day-of stress with all the questions being asked and all the last minute decisions to be made (+ it was raining up until my ceremony started & I was getting married outside!) BUT--Jennifer was a joy the entire day. She made conversation and got along with my entire bridal party, my mother absolutely adored getting to talk with her and getting glammed up herself. That is another suggestion i would make, hire Jennifer to not only do your bridesmaids makeup, but your mom and mother in law's makeup as well! All in all, I wanted to look and feel beautiful on my wedding day...and I looked and felt the MOST beautiful on my wedding day, thank you to Jennifer. She is one of the best makeup artist's in Charlotte and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to do their makeup. We love Jennifer and will continue to spread the word of how wonderful she is :)

ment pictures and loved the way they turned out, my makeup was flawless...so I knew she would be just as fabulous on my wedding day. It was honestly the most beautiful I have ever felt - friends who have known me for years said I was glowing and loved my makeup and hair style. She was very responsive to emails and such a pleasant person to be around. I highly recommend her to anyone for hair and makeup! You will not be disappointed.

Jennifer Abercrombie is the BEST! I could not be more pleased with my engagement and wedding look that Jennifer created for me. My dream "wedding look" became my reality with her. ...
Jennifer is so professional, fun, energetic, and friendly. I had her full attention each time I sat down with her, whether I was doing a trial or engagement look at her house (which she has a beautiful, chic, and modern area for clients), or the day of my wedding at the venue where her and her wonderful team did hair and makeup. All 6 of my bridesmaids and the mothers were beyond happy with each of their looks. Every detail was perfected for us. Jennifer became more of my hair/makeup person, she felt like a friend! I was beyond impressed with her attention to detail. She wrote down EVERYTHING she did for me during my trail to recreate the look on my wedding day. She even brought the exact same false eyelashes! She was flexible with any changes I wanted to make on my wedding day, for instance, I wanted to go with dramatic with the eyeliner and she made it happen and it looked beautiful. Jennifer is an expert!! Also, she kept her team to the time schedule that we created prior to the wedding. I can't wait to schedule another beauty session with her in the future!
Jennifer is amazing! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures last year, and for my wedding in March. She is so down to earth and great to work with! I changed a coupl...
e things with my hair and makeup from the trial to my wedding day, and she was great at accommodating and making sure that everything was perfect! Me and my bridesmaids all got so many compliments on how great we looked, and she made me feel amazing on my big day! I would recommend her to anyone for their hair and makeup for their wedding or any special event, and would not hesitate to use her again in the future! Thank you so much Jennifer!
Jennifer has the most amazing heart and she puts everything she has into each meeting with her client. It was such an honor to have Jennifer be part of wedding season for me and my...
family. We had the best time in each of the sessions, with her teaching me something about my skin and make-up application all while working her magic.
