Jen was our photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding. We really loved her natural, photojournalism style and we are so happy with our photos. It has been fun looking th...

rough the photos of our wedding and reception because she captured the energy and fun of various moments throughout the night! She is also good at making the posed photos look more natural. We can both be a bit awkward in front of the camera so we were nervous about our engagement photos but Jen was great at finding good locations and poses that turned into lovely pictures. Jen was easy to work with throughout the planning process, she was very responsive and helpful in creating the timeline and shot list, and kept everything on track (even though I was a bit late getting to the venue, we still finished with some spare time). She also got our final photos back to us very quickly. We definitely recommend Jen!

Jen was our wedding photographer this past June and she went above and beyond on our special day. My husband and I live in Chicago and Jen was amazing to work with from a distance ...

as we prepared for our San Francisco wedding. She was always willing to jump on a phone conversation with us to go over details and she quickly got back to our emails during the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, Jen was a pleasure to work with, we loved her documentary-style photography - this is what drew us to her in the first place. She does an exceptional job capturing those rare special moments that happen throughout the entire wedding day. She was kind and easy to work with during family and couple portraits. My husband and I aren't used to be in front of the camera and she made it easy and an enjoyable experience. Jen listened to everything we wanted to capture on our wedding day and she got even more than I could imagine. She even updated us throughout the editing process by sending us a few of her favorite shots, which was really exciting to see and share those sneak peaks with our family. We are beyond happy with everything Jen captured on our wedding day - from getting ready to formal couple and family portraits to all of the candid ceremony and reception photos. Jen truly captured the incredible joy of the entire day and I am so happy we were able to work with her. For anyone planning a wedding, engagement shoot, or other formal events we HIGHLY recommend using Jen for all your photography needs. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Jen, for being part of our big day and honestly capturing all the beauty and happiness of our wedding day - we now have a solid collection of photos to look back on for years to come.

Jennifer was my wedding photographer and she did an amazing job with both posed shots and documentary-style candid photos. My medium-sized wedding was in a regional park and I stro...

ngly desired capturing two things: (1) the beautiful nature as a backdrop for photos of my husband and me and (2) the guests having a great time. I was really impressed with how well Jennifer did on both of these. She suggested great spots for the posed shots and I'm pleased with how striking the tall trees and greenery looks photos. She also got a lot of hard to capture shots of guests dancing, talking, and laughing. Lastly, she was also punctual, easy to communicate with, and non-intrusive. Highly recommend.

eat eye and took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop in the Presidio of San Francisco to create stunning shots along the trails and at the coastline. From the moment we started, Jen made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, and our photos really showed it. We spent a lot of the time just laughing like old friends, while she made us feel like models! She was so kind, thoughtful and flexible, she even helped me change into a new outfit on the fly. Jen is kind and wonderful to work with, and we'd highly recommend her to any couple!

ding. My wife and I love our time and experience with Jen. She was very professional when it came to communicating with us and made sure we would get every photo we could think of and was very prepared before the wedding day ever came. During the wedding day she went above and beyond our expectations, arriving in plenty of time to get a lay of our venue and stayed to the end to capture our "good bye" moment! During the ceremony and reception, based on her fantastic pictures, it seamed like she was everywhere yet we never seamed to notice her as we were so caught up in our wonderful evening. She was the perfect photographer and we could not be happier with our choice to include Jen in our wedding day!

My biggest regret with my wedding was hiring this photographer. My husband and I have been together 11 years before our wedding, and the entire time I worked with Jen I felt as tho...

ugh she was just going through the motions of taking pictures like it was just another gig. Now I'm left with only 200 pictures to remember a day I waited over a decade to come. If you want someone who really cares about their commitment to your day and making sure you are happy I do not recommend Jen Fairbanks as a photographer.
