About this vendor
Welp...here we are...2026! All the life that led me to this spot and I'm so thankful to be here. I believe that words matter, that life is fleeting and that love is worth it. If you don't mind, I'd like to share a few personal things with you since you stopped by.
I might not be a perfectionist, but I am in tune with catching emotion, love and the small things that mean so much to you. I'm more concerned about the joy than the name brand of your shoes. I am more wanting a stress free day than I am of you feeling the pressure of a checklist. So whether it's an old historic church, or a willow tree...hair pinned up or loosely blowing in the wind...I'm all about feeling the feels than I am about a certain box to put your wedding in.
I used to care much more about certain 'things' but my perspective is different now. I have loved and lost my husband to a terminal illness and life to me is more about what I can give than what I can get. I am the lucky one to have known and felt great love and I know that now. I am grateful that I am able to provide for my daughter doing what I LOVE to do. I am in disbelief at times that people pay me to do something that I consider a gift.
I am so much more than a photographer, a mother and friend. I am hoping we can connect and I can be a part of your day, capturing what matters to YOU! And I will say this, in 5 years, 10 years, 25 years...when you look back on your wedding day, I hope that you got everything you wanted and MORE. I would love to hear about what it is you want.
Sidenote: no matter what happens on your wedding day, let's enjoy the unfolding of it all :)
xoxo Emy

ed all the way to Northern Michigan for our wedding and was overly accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone in need of photography services.
JEM was one of the first vendors I knew I wanted to book. Once you see their website gallery and how beautiful she catches our special day, there was no where else to look! Jenni...
fer surely does not need direction as she can she pictures and take the most amazing shots I would have never thought about! Love, love, love! Our engagement photos turned out gorgeous and we had soooo many compliments, that I cannot wait to see our wedding photos! I would refer JEM to anyone!!!

ill have not seen any of my photos from the wedding and they say it takes 6-10 weeks, which is a REALLY long time to wait. But the photographers were respectful and a joy to have around. I just can't wait to see my photos and cannot comment on their quality since i still have not seen the finished product, but I'm sure i'll be happy.
I was lucky enough to select Jennifer at Jem Photography as my wedding photographer. If you are looking for a vendor who is genuinely excited for YOUR wedding, you need to meet Jen...
nifer! We were doing a movie theme for our wedding and decided to not do a traditional engagement package. Instead, we asked if she could help us recreate a Mrs. and Mrs. Smith movie poster of ourselves. She was completely accommodating! She really will customize a package for you. It was, as I mentioned, such a pleasure working with someone who loves what they do, and is excited to be a part of your day. She takes amazing photos, and is great a working with your group. She didn't bat an eye when I asked if we could take a few really cheesy photos as well. She is a blast, and it feels like a friend is taking your photos. Meet her! One last note. Jem is VERY reasonably priced. Every photographer I liked was in the $3-4k range, which was just not in our budget. I feel like I got way more than I paid for!
Jennifer Daher was our photographer and I can honestly say that my friends and family repeatedly told me how professional and kind she was. She met us at the salon and started snap...
ping pictures of us getting ready for the big day. She was so professional throughout the entire time!! I honestly did not know she was snapping pictures during the ceremony and reception! Photography was top on my list and we just couldn't be any happier that she was there to capture our day! The love that she has for her job is just amazing!
We just got a preview of the blog and the pictures are, of course, amazing!!!
