Jeannie Capellan was an absolute pleasure to work with! I highly recommend her for any photo shoot you may be considering. She’ll capture any special occasion beautifully, as she d...
id mine!
I chose Jeannie as my wedding photographer after seeing some amazing pictures she took while doing some online research. She arrived early to our scheduled shoot and was calm, personable, and professional. She patiently began taking photos of my dress, shoes, etc., utilizing her time effectively and efficiently, while I was still scrambling around as crazy brides often do when they are behind schedule.
I was originally worried when we started; I get shy and anxious when getting my picture taken. The thought of trying to naturally look like a “beautiful bride” was making me cringe inside. Jeannie made me feel very comfortable and special. She guided me the entire way, giving me specific direction when needed. Jeannie was extremely flexible and kind with me and my family. There is a certain relief you feel when someone works with you and doesn’t make you feel bothered by last minute requests (even requests for pictures in the rain to capture lightening, lol).
I had a few “must have” photos which we worked on together to create into reality. Other than that, I gave her full creative liberty and was so happy I did. She is very talented! You won’t regret your decision.
I LOVE my photos!
Jeannie was amazing. She was so much more than a photographer. Among the little things she did like helped carry my dress train, helped clean off the sand off our feet, DROVE us to...
our reception, and was so sweet- she took amazing photos of our day that we will cherish forever. She made us (two introverts who hate having the camera on us) feel soooo comfortable. She was great, I would recommend her for any photo op you have in mind!
My husband and I got married on September 7th on Driftwood Beach and couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our "I Do's"! Jeannie was so sweet and super professio...
nal. She made us feel relaxed and at ease. Our photos turned out PERFECT. They were absolutely breathtaking! We would recommend Jennie for any wedding or other occasion you may have! Thanks so much for making our day perfect!
Jeannie Capellan Photography exceeded our expectations! We live out of state and had only 10 months to plan the wedding of our dreams. I had a vision, but couldn't fathom how to ma...
ke this vision happen from 3,000+ miles away and had no clue where to start. Jeannie has years of experience photographing weddings and I was blown away with all the ideas and advice she provided. I didn't expect her to take on such a major role, but Jeannie went above and beyond by working hand in hand with me and my wedding planner coordinating ideas and cultivating my vision for my ceremony and reception; she even offered to help us build the arbor for the ceremony. The day of the wedding her and her team were at the venue earlier than expected and were very very busy taking pre-wedding photos. I was beyond impressed with all the work her team accomplished and the wedding hadn't even started! During the planning stage we were very worried about keeping time, but her team were very efficient and everything ran like clock work. My husband and I were brought to tears when we saw the photos from our wedding for the first time, there so were many details that Jeannie and her team captured. We were amazed with the quality; photos that you would expect to see in magazines. Matter of fact, the marketing director of the venue where our wedding was hosted will be using one of our photos as their advertisement piece in Jacksonville's Bridal Magazine! How impressive is that! I can go on and on, but all I can say is that Jeannie and her team will do an amazing job to ensure you will have professional quality photographs of the cherished memories from your special day.
Jeannie and her assistant did a FANTASTIC job! She was very professional and super nice, offering to carry my makeup with her for touch-ups during pictures. I couldn't possibly say...
enough good things about Jeannie's work and the pictures are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I'm so grateful I chose Jeannie and you will be, too!!!

Using Jeannie was a great experience for not only our wedding day but also our engagement pictures. She took us to a huge field of wild flowers about an hour out of town and the pi...
ctures turned out amazing! For the ride she even brought drinks and snacks for us. She was always on time and very prompt in returning emails and calls too. On our wedding day she was very efficient in the the formal pictures and also got really good candid shots of us which we really wanted. And the turn around time for the pictures was fast!! We are so happy with Jeannie's work, you really can tell when someone goes above and beyond for you. Thanks Jeannie!
Jeannie did our engagement and wedding photos over three years ago and I'm STILL getting compliments on them! She always captures the most creative shots. She captured moments that...
I didn't even know happened and caught so many little details from the day. The coolest part is that the photos are "ours"-- I've not seen the same shots/perspectives done at other weddings-- they don't seem "standard", but rather totally unique. The added bonus: Jeannie is an AMAZING person, so sweet, so fun, so real.
6 months after our wedding on May 12, 2012, our guests still talked about our wedding as the best and most entertaining weddings they have ever been to in their lives. A lot of tha...
t had to do with our choice in Photography from Jeannie Capellan Photography. Jeannie went above and beyond my expectations! She was there from the start, held my hand throughout the entire process, kept me abreast of everything she needed to do, what I needed to do, and made the experience so easy, fun, and it seemed like such a dream because it went so perfect. I say the experience was like a dream but the pictures truly made my wedding look like an absolute dream come true. The shots she captured were unbelievable! Her outstanding professionalism made the experience unbelievable and I plan to use her for my Pregnancy progression shots, baby pictures, family pictures, etc etc... I couldn't have asked for anything more from her because she was already doing it or had already finished. She was always a mile ahead of me. I was super satisfied and will continue using her services for my family and all of our special events.
We had a very simple, intimate wedding and it was very important to me to have every moment captured perfectly! After shooting our engagement photos we knew we had made the best dec...
ision! First Jeannie helped us choose a location to soot our engagement photos that fit pur personality...Jeannie was so much fun, she encouraged us to be ourselves yet gave us confidence to try things that we wouldn't have thought of. This made our experience magical and we still talk about how much fun it was!
Then... Our wedding from start to finish was only 15min (maybe).... In A big, kinda over grown garden. Jeannie took hundreds of different photos and no one in the ceremony even noticed her. And the best part was she made the over grown garden look like the garden of Eden, beautiful and green... It was amazing!
We can't wait to use her for our baby photo... One day :)
