JayLee Photography was absolutely incredible for our engagement photos and wedding!! If we could give them 10 stars we would! First, their photography style is amazing, so vibrant,...
fun, and capturing so many incredible moments we might have missed otherwise. We worked primarily with Josh for our engagement photos, he is so kind, funny, and always professional, and we really appreciated how he really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we wanted from our photos. Josh brought Hanna as a second shooter for the big day, she was also incredible and the two of them together were effortless in corralling our families for all the portraits we wanted. We cannot recommend JayLee Photography highly enough, they were the absolute best!!
Let's just start out by saying that Rory and I weren't the easiest customers. Planning a wedding in a month, nervy about getting our pictures taken, tight budget and ... well very ...
green to the whole process.
They took all of this in their stride, being up front about the timings and costs of what we wanted, and working out a way this could work within our budget. Both Josh and Ali were professional but warm, and we instantly wanted to work with them.
On the day they made us relax, feel our prettiest most handsome selves and really the whole process was (surprisingly for us) fun! Lookinh back on these pictures in the month after our wedding has been a joy - they really did turn out pretty good. (see for yourselves http://jayleephotography.net/gallery/ninarory/)
Simply put one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was picking Josh and Ali to take our photos. We really couldn't be happier.
My husband and I interviewed many photographers before deciding on Josh and Ali. We met them at a coffee shop to look at their portfolios. Not only did we love their photos, but we...
really enjoyed them as people as well. We knew they would help us feel at ease on our wedding day. We ended up booking Josh and Ali for our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Their photos are unbelievable. They capture every emotion and feeling from those days. From laughter to nerves, tears, relief and above all else love. Their photos are spectacular and they are really wonderful people. We highly recommend them!
My husband and I are both photographers and our photography for the wedding was the one area that we were not willing to compromise-we knew that to get amazing photos we were going...
to have to spend some money and we were okay with that. But comparing other Seattle wedding photographers, Jaylee is really on par with pricing. So it came down to the photos-and we LOVED Josh and Ali's photos! To top it all off, their personality really comes through and ulitmately, we spent more time with our photographers than anyone else that day so it's really important that we like them as people as well as artists. We love their photography style-great formal shots and the more unique and difficult to get "moments." They really understand composition, lighting, and LOVE what they do. They aren't photographers who do weddings to pay the bills but really love to shoot nature. They love, LOVE and it makes them easy to work with. Even my husband was comfortable in front of the camera. They also are quick to respond to communication-computer based or phone based. I cannot rave on them enough!
