About this vendor
I'm an emotion junkie. A sucker for tears and laughter. And I seek out beauty in all places.
My favorite images are a combination of the right angles, the right poses, the right light, and showing the closeness between people. Each wedding is as unique as each couple, and I want your wedding images to be a true reflection of who you are, your personal style, your history, and your personality.

Janet and her team are wonderful and truly professionals in their field. We had the opportunity to do a complimentary engagement shoot months before the wedding. Janet is so friend...
ly and personable! She was instantly able to put me and my fiancé at ease, and capture some captivating photographs. She was great at scoping out magical spots to take photos. On wedding day, she made a point to stick to the timeline. It rained but she was able to think on her feet and be creative with getting the shot. Oh and the reception photos?!She really captured the energy of our guests dancing and having fun! I will treasure our photos forever. I simply cannot recommend Janet Howard Studio enough!
Janet is such a wonderful person inside and out, it shows in her pictures! She photographed my wedding and engagement session. All I can do is RAVE and RAVE about her attention to ...
what is important for a bride on her wedding day. She literally captured everything on my big day and I never even noticed, she and her assistant blended into the party and took all the perfect pictures and moments. She is so calm, and INTUITIVE! We had a couple calls leading up to the day and she helped me plan out so much. Not only is she experienced she is passionate about her work. The quality of our pictures are so amazing. I can’t thank her enough. She is so professional and inspiring. I am so happy I chose her as my photographer.
Janet was a delight to work with during our wedding. She captured candid shots of the wedding that highlighted the most important parts of it- the people who had come from all over...
the world to be a part of our day. The pictures and the album were beautiful and we truly cherish them. Janet’s post production process was very smooth and we would gladly work with her again!
Janet captured our weekend exactly as we had hoped. She and her team did such a great job, start to finish. We love having beautiful pictures to look back on and relive our special...
day. Thank you, Janet!
Janet was by far the best vendor I had for my entire wedding, and I am so glad that I found her! I had originally gone with a family vendor to take our pictures- which was a big mi...
stake. The communication was terrible and I felt like her lowest priority and unimportant. I made the decision to seek out a new photographer, and my mother stumbled across Janet's gorgeous photography. I immediately contacted her, and right out of the gate she was so responsive and helpful- it was like night and day from my first photographer! She was so helpful and answered all of my many questions in our consultation and provided so many great vendor suggestions for me to look into.
Our engagement photos turned out so stunning, and she was able to capture my husband and I so well despite how awkward and unnatural we are in front of the camera. And if those weren't amazing, the pictures she took at our wedding were just breath taking. She captured the magic and whimsy of our day more perfectly than I could have ever hoped for. My friends and family are still talking about them! Janet and Nick were wonderful as remaining incognito while still capturing amazing pictures during the ceremony and reception. They are the true ninjas of photography!
Janet is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! If there is one thing you splurge on for your wedding--make it your photographer. Those pictures are what you will have for the rest of your lives. Janet was so wonderful and personable-- and not to mention her turn around time is unheard of! I have heard so many horror stories of people waiting months and even YEARS for their pictures, and Janet had my entire wedding online in 2 weeks!
I will be recommending Janet to any and everyone. If my husband and I ever need any pictures, Janet is now my go to!
After exhaustive research, my daughter chose Janet Howard for her wedding photos. It was an excellent choice! When they met for the Engagement session, she put them so at ease that...
the photos were phenomenal. She had the reserved groom "working it" and the shots she got were amazing. We had complete confidence that the wedding photos were going to be equally great. On the big day, Janet and her team were everywhere! Thank goodness because none of us had the presence of mind to snap a single photo. The twirling flower girl - got it! The special entrance - got it! The expressions during the first look - got it! Of all the vendors we worked with, the photographer is perhaps the most important because those images become our memories. I cannot recommend Janet Howard Studios enough! Cindy Dean
Janet really captured some very special moments on film! Our wedding was at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. She had some great ideas for poses, used the gardens very well as a nice...
backdrop, and helped us to feel very relaxed for the photos. I really appreciated that since I don't consider myself the most photogenic person. Unfortunately my hair looks awful, but I guess that's part of having an outdoor wedding on a windy day! Janet took some of the best pictures of my parents I have ever seen!
Janet is brilliant! I could not have asked for a better photographer for my wedding. When we first met, I told her I wanted my wedding pictures to "tell the story of my wedding". I...
wanted more candid, emotion filled shots than anything. Janet delivered tenfold! Not only do I highly recommend Janet to everyone I can, but I plan to use her for ALL my future photography needs!
Janet was wonderful. She did both engagement and wedding photos for me and I can't even tell you how happy I am with how everything turned out. She got such a great mix of action/c...
andid shots and posed pictures. I would highly recomment her.
Hi, my name is Ashley and I was an OCD bride. When we starting looking for a wedding photographer I felt overwhelmed by all of the options in Atlanta. One day my fiance and I found...
ourselves staring at a spreadsheet we had compiled of more than 50 photographers. It was a daunting process, but we whittled the list down and it lead us to Janet…one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Janet is not only a great photographer, but she has a beautiful soul and it truly shines through in her work. When you think about the vendors you want to surround yourself with on your wedding day you hope that they feel more like friends, and we felt completely at ease with Janet. When I saw the first “sneak peek” photo from our wedding I could hardly breathe. It was more than I ever could have expected and I would have been happy if that was the only photo we had. However, 10 days after our wedding (Yes, TEN! That is unheard of!) I was blown away by all of the amazing photos she produced and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the beautiful memories she captured.
Janet Howard is very professional. She takes the absolute best pictures. She's so creative. She's very pleasant to work with. She's makes you very comfortably.
Janet and Jay of Blue World Studios is a fun and amazing couple. They captured every candid moment of our wedding. I nicknamed them " The Ninja Photographers" because I was amaze...
d at how fast they moved to always capture just the right angles and lighting. We could view proofs on their website 2 weeks after our wedding, and received our proof books and high resolution cd's within about a month after our wedding. Their rates are a bit pricey but well worth it. They are professional, respond to calls and emails promptly, and provide a very high quailty service to their customers.
They are super easy to work with and do a great job getting different angles because there are two photographers. They also give you proofs which is awesome. You really are ...
getting great value; They are awesome! Don't be turned off by the initial meeting when they're quiet - they're just trying to figure out what YOU want and not influence you.
