Jana Bannan Photography

her calls after my consultation! I knew from the first phone call that she was a complete professional and knew exactly how to accomplish my vision. She was SO efficient and made sure to get every shot I wanted and more. She brought Chelsea as a second shooter and they were a great team. It was a huge bonus that Jana knew my venue (Mendenhall Inn) really well and was able to choose photo locations super easily. My wedding day was so hot and she made sure to take time to cool off between shots. She was able to take charge with our rowdy wedding party and got some incredible shots, whiles still making everyone feel super comfortable. They were especially great with our almost 3-year-old ring bearer and got some amazing shots of him! I was SHOCKED when I woke up the day after my wedding and saw she had already emailed over some sneak peeks by 9:15 am (less than 12 hours after she was done shooting!). The turnaround time for our full gallery was super quick and we are obsessed with our pictures. It’s going to be such a challenge to narrow down our favorites for our album, but that is a great problem to have! I really loved working with Jana and would recommend her to anyone!

a friend, so we were familiar with her work, but after speaking to her, we stopped searching. She is the total package!

ly organized and gives great direction. We had a large bridal party and a bit of a wild bunch and she kept us all on schedule so we could prioritize time with us as a couple. She has a fantastic eye for lighting and setting and takes great candid photos! She was so much fun to work with and her photos are BEAUTIFUL! We highly recommend Jana and can’t wait to work with her again in the future for other photography needs!

our wedding date due to covid. We also enjoyed two engagement photo shoots leading up to the wedding day! Jana was THE most helpful person on our wedding day - from helping us plan our wedding day timeline, keeping everyone on schedule throughout the day, and even helping putting my veil on perfectly! Jana and Chelsea are both so professional and truly talented with photography. We could not ask for better pictures from our wedding day - they are perfect! We are so excited to see our wedding album when it is complete! Jana is so knowledgeable about photography and weddings. She is truly the BEST of the best! If you want your wedding day to run smoothly and to have the most gorgeous wedding photos, then you HAVE to hire Jana!

ng the wedding planning process. We had her for our engagement shoot and wedding and were absolutely blown away. Her attention to detail and talent is incredible. She and her partner Mike made the day so fun, helped to make our day run smoothly, and made sure to capture all of our special moments with ease. They truly made the process feel fun and not overwhelming or stressful at all. We had a large bridal party of 20 bridesmaids/groomsmen and they handled and coordinated this group so efficiently. I could not speak more highly of Jana and what a wonderful job she did. We had guests from out of town come up to us asking how to get in contact with Jana because they too noticed how wonderful she was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

e enjoying ourselves along the way. We were so excited to have Jana photograph our wedding July 2020, but unfortunately had to cancel our large ceremony due to Covid 19 and opted to have a small ceremony at our home in Maryland. Jana was not only understanding, but offered to travel to our home to capture our ceremony if government guidance allows (depending on how many people are allowed at our event). Two takeaways working with Jana: 1. She is talented and will have you feeling comfortable as soon as you meet her. 2. She is compassionate and reasonable. Jana was kind enough to offer us a refund if she is unable to render her services for our small wedding in July. You'll love working with Jana. She is sweet, lively and a true artist. Thank you Jana and we hope to see you this summer.

tos *picture* perfect! She captured so many moments and memories from my special wedding day and I will be forever grateful! And, the album, turned out AWESOME! You won't be disappointed.

wedding photos! Jana included everything I wanted with the photos and was able to accommodate a large family, weather changes, vastly different locations, and unpredictable situations and children. She helped me organize the wedding day to help with the flow and timing of everything from pre-wedding hair and makeup to the ceremony to post-ceremony pictures to the fun of the reception. Her expertise with wedding photos was noticed by others who have now hired her for their events. Her layouts for our wedding album and our parent books were amazing and captured all the important, meaningful moments for everyone. We plan on continuing to use Jana to capture life events with our child. Thank you, Jana!

won’t be disappointed! Thanks for everything Jana!!

ly recommended, my fiancé and I decided early on that we did not want photographers, cameras and posing to take away from our ceremony and special time with friends and family. Photographs were not important. I will be the first to admit, after seeing the beautiful talent displayed in her photos of us that I was wrong. We cannot stop looking at our photographs and get tears of joy each time they are viewed and shared with friends! Our friends are amazed and share with everyone as well. She captured such beautiful moments. I knew immediately I was dealing with more than just a photographer, we were dealing with a high-end professional who knew exactly what she wanted. Before the wedding she captured me and my gown and friends in the beautiful light of the sun shining in the window while suggesting the best, natural poses, as she swiftly moved and snapped photos before the sun set. Her personality and warm smile made me less nervous. She continued photographing as I walked down the hallway into the ceremony. All beautiful. During the ceremony I wasn't even aware of their presence because they were so unobtrusive, yet the gorgeous photos prove they were! We changed our minds on the importance of professional wedding photos! What we thought would not be a big deal turned out to be one of the most important parts of the wedding. Memories will fade in time, however, the photographs that Jana and Mike captured will continually speak to us and remind us of the best day of our lives. Jana Bannan is a true artist and we are lucky she was recommended to us. I hope this review will help you with your decision on a professional photographer and make your wedding experience and memories just as special!
