and, they worked with us to make a timeline of our day and reached out several times to make sure everything was all set. On the morning of our wedding, James helped my husband choose between two vest and tie options, folded his and some of the groomsmen’s pocket squares, and put my husband’s boutonniere on for him. My husband said James was more helpful than some of his groomsmen because he knew how to do everything from working on so many weddings before! Katie stayed with me, my mom, and my bridesmaids while we got ready. She not only captured the moments perfectly and without us noticing but also was such great company and fun to talk to! She also took a wonderful candid picture of my dad and I right before he walked me down the aisle. We had a church ceremony, and James and Katie stayed at a respectful distance while still capturing every moment perfectly. During the family photo session after the ceremony, James and Katie did a great job getting everyone arranged and took photos in which everyone looked good, which I’m sure wasn’t always easy because we had some large groups and family members that kept disappearing. After the family photos, we went to our reception venue where James and Katie took awesome photographs of us with our bridal party and of just the two of us. I’m still not sure how they did it, but they managed to give us and our bridal party 20 minutes before those group photos to take a break in the air conditioning and get drinks, and they finished all the photo sessions at least 45 minutes earlier than planned, so we got to go to our cocktail hour! That being said, they didn’t skip any photo opportunities and still gave us over 1000 pictures from our wedding day. After dinner, James and Katie took us outside again for some sunset photos. Some of my favorite photos from the whole day came from that time, so if you are able to do another short photo session during sunset, I highly recommend it! Throughout the entire day, James and Katie remained patient with everyone, upbeat, and accommodating to whatever we wanted to do. They also helped keep everyone calm throughout the whole day, which I really appreciated! After our wedding, we received all of our photos in an online gallery within three weeks. James and Katie also sent us printed copies of some of the photos in a leather pouch, a handwritten note, and a USB drive with all the photos on it. My husband and I still have to decide which portraits we’re going to order of if we’re going to order an album, but I know whatever we order will be stunning because James and Katie deliver only the highest quality work. If you are planning your wedding and get the chance to book James and Katie, you need to do it! Your wedding day goes by so fast and they capture all the big and little moments so you can relive it! James and Katie are truly the best wedding photographers and will go above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is even more perfect than you’re dreaming it will be!

They were able to capture all our special moments without being intrusive and were incredibly efficient in getting our wedding party organized for photos. They also helped my wife and I take moments to breath during the day and just be together away from everyone else. That's something we hadn't thought about, but allowed us to enjoy our day without being overwhelmed by everything else that was happening. I would recommend James and Katie to anyone.

They were able to wrangle our wedding party (which is a job in itself) and gave great directions and suggestions for the best pictures. They were also so much fun to have around; extremely polite and fun to work with. When our timeline of the day got pushed back, they were so flexible and willing to work with us and stay later. Day after the wedding we had 4 beautiful photos, two weeks later we had the photo website and three weeks later we had a USB with all of our photos! Brilliantly fast! On top of everything else, James and Katie are simply people you want around! They are kind, lovely and loving. Making us comfortable, laugh and smile, they made even those of us who hate being photographed into models! We could not be more impressed or more grateful for the treasure they have given us in our photos! The captured smiles, kisses and tears are invaluable memories!
