We loved working with Monique at Jacques Imo's for our wedding catering. We got a lot of quotes and talked to a lot of people and it was very easy to pick them. We wanted authentic...
food (my wife is Cajun from southern LA). We brought her mom with us to the tasting, and she approved, so we knew we were in good hands. The food was really delicious, and we got rave reviews from the guests. We also went with Jacques Imo's beer and wine package for the bar. Everything was very reasonably priced. Monique was really personable, fun and easy to work with. She was on top of everything from day one. Highly recommend!!
If you are wanting tasty, authentic New Orleans food at your event, book Jacques Imo's! One of the things I've heard so many of my wedding guests mention was how good the food was....
I had great, efficient communication and service prior to wedding with Monique. My whole experience with Jacques Imo's was positive. Highly Recommend!
Jacques Imo's was highly recommended by our wedding coordinator so we trusted her suggestion and booked Jacques Imo's without even tasting the food prior due to planning the weddin...
g from California during the height of the pandemic. Monique was such a pleasure to work with - she was very organized, easy-going and a great communicator. We were unable to do a tasting ahead of time before booking Jacques Imo's due to living in SF plus the pandemic, however, a few weeks before the wedding, we were able to finally make it to New Orleans. It's a bit atypical to do a tasting after booking the caterer, however, Monique went out of her way and set one up for us anyway so that we could finalize the menu. We were immediately impressed by the food. As someone from Louisiana, I have certain expectations of traditional dishes and was very pleased with nearly all of the dishes and Monique helped us pick out alternatives if we didn't like a particular dish we originally had on the menu. Some of our favorites were the fried chicken, gumbo, jalapeño mac & cheese, and the crawfish tasso pasta - our guests raved about these too! We highly recommend Jacques Imo's for your wedding, next event or even a meal while in New Orleans! They are very professional plus their catering menu is absolutely delicious and competitively priced.
Amazing experience with Monique & Jacques Imos as our wedding caterer & bar! We looked at many different options and deciding on them was a no-brainer. We were able to have the fam...
iliar awesomeness we already loved about the restaurant and they were able to add unique elements per our request. They were organized and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests were very complementary of the food & we're still enjoying the left overs. We'd definitely recommend working with their great team (and get the oysters--it's a crowd pleaser!).
The guests absolutely raved about the food. We wanted unpretentious comfort food presented in a high class way. Jacques imos delivered! It's safe to say we made a lot of people fal...
l in love with New Orlean's charbroiled oysters. And it was wonderful to be able to entrust one vendor with our food catering and bar. Monique is an absolute gem who made us feel at home from the tasting to the big day.
My husband and I had looked at quite a few food options for our wedding and Jacques Imo's was by far the best choice to truly provide guests a New Orleans experience. The food was...
absolutely incredible and they even invited us to the restaurant prior to the wedding to help us finalize our menu. Our guests said that this was without a doubt the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The fried chicken was INCREDIBLE, along with the alligator cheesecake appetizer and boudin balls. If you want to really impress your guests with some of the best New Orleans style food, choose Jacques Imo's.
Easy (and fun!) to work with, incredible food, and incredible value. We got so many compliments on the food. I was so happy to have a wedding where the food was actually good, and ...

Their food is absolutely incredible! It tastes just like you ordered it ...
at the restaurant. All of our guests were RAVING about how this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding.
Additionally, Monique, their catering director, is phenomenal. She was a true life-saver at our wedding. Unfortunately, our wedding planner was sub-par and she stepped up wherever she could to ensure we had the best day of our lives, even if it had nothing to do with the food!
Top notch food, top notch professionalism.

hat offered a lot of options. The variety of Jacques Imo's Catering menu allowed us to pick traditional New Orleans items, such as gumbo, fried chicken, and seafood pasta, but also items to accommodate our vegetarian guests. We chose a buffet and assumed that it would be self-serve, but were thrilled to have the catering manager come up to us to bring us hors d'oeuvres and drinks and to make sure that we took a moment away from the festivities to actually eat a full meal. All of our guests raved about the food. The leftovers were packed up for us, which was a huge help and just as tasty in the days after the wedding. If you are looking for delicious, reasonably priced, and authentic New Orleans food, you need not look beyond Jacques Imo's Catering.
