I don’t even know where to begin.
I spent a lot of time trying to find the best venue/plannings service in the area, and I’m so happy we chose Island Sands Beach Weddings. Literal...
ly from the first inquiry to the wedding, communication was impeccable. They made the planning process so easy! Nikki and her team made the whole process as smooth as possible.
We had the ceremony at the beach and the reception at the event room of the Royal Palm Grille. Both setups were literally perfection. The size of the event room was perfect for my guest size (around 35 guests). We had our food catered from the Royal Palm Grille as well and the food was amazing! All of our guests were super impressed and kept telling us how much they loved it. All of the staff was so kind and made me feel super special on my wedding day. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and the day felt like a dream.
We booked hair and makeup, our DJ, and the cake through their preferred vendor list and all 3 were amazing as well. I highly recommend booking the bridal suite. It was perfect to be able to get ready the day before and it made it easy to have somewhere to freshen up before the reception.
A week later, we are still sad it’s over but we can’t wait to visit The Royal Palm Grille for our date nights!
Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. Nicki and her team were beyond incredible. We have been planning our wedding for 2 years and got married this past weekend (9/26/26). Ev...
erything was absolutely perfect, I had prepared myself for things to go wrong and not one thing did. We planned our wedding from a different state so there were ALOT of emails. Their communication was top notch, almost instant replies, answered every little question I had and never said they couldn’t do something for us. They found a way to bring our vision to life and made everything so easy and seamless. They hosted everything from our rehearsal dinner to the welcome beach bonfire and brunch the next morning for all our guests. The bridal suite was amazing, me and my girls had so much space for getting ready, it was such a relaxed morning knowing everything was being taken care of. The vendors they work with are also amazing. We couldn’t recommend Kim (cake baker), DJ Dan and Couture florals enough. So many of guests commented on how perfect everything was, the food, the drinks, the staff etc. It was a flawless weekend and we are so glad we decide to work with Island Sands. I don’t think we will ever be able to stop talking about Nicki and her team and would 10000% recommend them to every single couple out there.

nted it and made my Pinterest dream wedding come to life. Callie responded to all of my hundreds of emails very quick and was super helpful and supportive during the entire event. The wedding day went so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of the preferred vendors they suggested were also incredible. The reception and arbor were so beautifully decorated. The food was also incredible and the beach bon fire for a rehearsal dinner was so unique and everyone enjoy it. The entire experience was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend.
Island sands was incredible to work with! It was honestly the most stress free I think we could be. We had a 100 people wedding and everything went absolutely perfect. Nicki and he...

s-free. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and a clear passion for what they do — and it truly showed on our big day.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests. The setup was stunning —exactly what we envisioned, if not better! From the ceremony decor to the reception layout, everything looked like it was straight out of a dream. The dessert (cake pops) was not only gorgeous but also so good we’re still getting compliments on it.
The DJ, Dan, kept the energy up all night, reading the crowd perfectly and making sure everyone had a blast. Our officiant, who was also Dan, delivered a heartfelt, personal ceremony that felt incredibly meaningful and memorable.
And then there’s Nicki, our coordinator — what an absolute gem! Nicki went above and beyond for us throughout the entire year leading up to the wedding. She was always organized, responsive, and thoughtful. On the day of the wedding, she handled every detail behind the scenes with such grace that we were able to be completely present and soak in every moment, knowing everything was in the best hands.
We can’t thank Island Sands Beach Weddings and Nicki enough for giving us the perfect day. If you're considering a beach wedding in Destin, this is the team you want by your side!

ything was truly breathtaking. I boo-hoo cried when I saw the ceremony set up at the beach. The event room decor was all and more that I could have imagined. The coordination of all the vendors from the pastor, DJ, food, photos was all taken care of by these wonderful ladies and was soo smooth. I can't thank you enough for the best day ever! This bride is truly thankful for you and all you've done to make my day perfect 😍😍😍

lanning process they made everything as stress free as possible. Every time I would reach out to them with questions they would quickly respond and put my mind at ease. No question or concern was every too big or too small. I knew from working with them on all the wedding plans that they would also be amazing when it came to the actual wedding day, but they even exceeded my expectations for the day off! Nicki is amazing at what she does and calmed all my nerves when it came to the day of our wedding. She did everything she could to make my dream wedding happen even with inclement weather in the forecast. I cannot thank Nicki and her team enough for being willing to make last minutes changes to meet our expectations. I never had to worry about one detail because they were always one step ahead of me. All of the vendors were amazing and the food was incredible! I got the perfect beach wedding with the most perfect beach pictures. It truly was a blessing to get to work with the Island Sands Beach Wedding team.
I'll never be able to thank Nicki & Renee enough for their part in how amazing our wedding weekend was. Island Sands was so very easy to work with through the entire process. From ...
my initial contact having no idea what I was doing, through our ceremony, to my entire wedding (us & all of our guests were on the beach) cheering them on the next day as they put two more amazing ceremonies on, they were delightful.
They helped us create our perfect ceremony, working things in & out of their package list to make it "ours" and keep it in-budget. Food, Cake, Venue, Timing/Coordination, Design/Planning, Beauty & even the bridal suite, they did it all & it was excellent. I had booked my florals before choosing Island Sands, but it turned out to be their preferred vendor anyway, so even that was super easy & turned out amazing. We brought our own photographer & officiant, but Nicki & Renee integrated them perfectly. Even with a last-minute change in guest count & minor tweak, they rolled with it and we had a bar credit when we all went back to hang out at the bonfire after we finished dinner.
I just can't keep from gushing about how easy it was, how sweet they were and how everything came together so perfectly. It definitely felt like they were part of the party & part of the family. We're pretty non-traditional all the way around & I hope they had as much fun as we did.

ls quickly, and thoroughly! We unfortunately had guests in the military going back and forth on being able to attend and they were more than accommodating on the guest count because of the situation. The day before, Nicki was professional and knowledgeable on what our goal for the day was. Pricing is very fair, as you get to choose your own packages. I highly recommend Island Sands, Nicki and her team!

Perfection is the only word to describe our wedding and the planning process. Planning a wedding from another state can be extremely difficult, but Island Sands Beach Wedding made ...
it truly easy. Nicki and her team were so courteous, responsive, detailed and helpful from the moment we first contacted them until the end of our ceremony, and beyond. We had a glitch in the planning process (which was actually out of their control) and Nicki and her team jumped in to problem solve and offer solutions. And, Nicki and her team were the ones showing empathy and apologizing for other's errors. The vendors selected were amazing. They arrived at the scheduled times, their work was amazing and they really seemed to care about making our wedding wonderful! I really cannot recommend Island Sands Beach wedding enough. They are truly amazing at creating the perfect beach wedding! Thank you so much!

than a therapist, and helped me manage every detail leading up to our destination wedding. Nicki is a visionary and the kindest director and owner. She clearly knows how to make magic happen. When they started playing the wrong song for me to walk down the aisle to (whoops!) she was lightening fast and saved the day! The food was phenomenal, the bartender KT was so fun and took great care of our guests, and DJ Diamond Dan was simply amazing. My only real complaint is that it couldn’t last forever!!!!! Nicki and Callie, I wish you only the best in your lives and careers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me marry the man of my dreams in the wedding of my dreams
I was extremely disappointed to say the absolute least. First of all, make sure everything is in writing because they promise you the moon to get you to sign the contract and pay t...
he deposit. They originally said we could put whatever we wanted on the contract initially and we had up until Oct. To change that. Then when we go to change something the story changes and we couldn't remove what we wanted to and we're forced to keep it. I decided before my big day that I wasn't going to let that ruin anything so I let that part go.
During my wedding day Justine was 1000% useless. She did absolutely nothing. We had to ask her to do everything she did do. I just felt like I hired her to make things go smoother, not to cause me more stress (which is all that happened). I was promised she would do all of the little things in order to relieve stress off of myself during the wedding day, but when she was asked to take the trash out she said "I don't do menial things I'm just here for structure." the entire time she was there all she did was tell us when to walk down the isle...
I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I'm extremely disappointed in this company. Nikki knew we weren't happy and didn't reach out or try to make things right. It was extremely poor customer service. All my other vendors were fantastic and followed up after.
High-quality services, professionalism, stress-free process, and most importantly the staff are there to make your dreams come to life at an affordable price. Best decision ever! :...

Seriously took all the stress off of me. Awesome planners and awesome vendor connections. Wedding was absolutely perfect.
I cannot say enough about Nicki and her associates at Island Sands Beach Weddings. We do not live in Florida and my daughter wanted a beach wedding. We researched several weddin...
g vendors and really liked Island Sands. We contacted Nicki and told her what we wanted and she was more than accommodating!! The day of the wedding we had torrential rains and were really afraid we would not have the wedding of my daughter's dreams. Nicki was in frequent contact with us and we had a plan B ready just in case. She was watching the radar and told us we had about a 45 minute window if we could move the time up which of course we did and everything was more than we could have hoped for!! Nicki and her staff went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had the wedding of her dreams and we will never forget it!!

I had 7 months from the time of my engagement to the scheduled wedding date, so time was of the essence for me to get the ball rolling. Nicki Cox and her team were always quick to...
respond to my inquiries, even before I hired this company. I felt confident with trusting Nicki to handle all the details for my wedding & reception in Florida while I concerned myself with the rest of the wedding minutiae back home in Atlanta, Ga. I honestly feel as though I got the best bang for my buck. Everything was exactly how I'd hoped it would be with the exception of the tropical thunderstorm that hit within the hour of our ceremony start time. We had to move the wedding indoors; however, it was still a beautiful event! And, Callie scheduled a photo shoot for us the next day on the beach in our wedding gear, so we still got our beach photos (which look AMAZING by the way)! Dan was an awesome Officiate, and he didn't miss a beat as the DJ. There were so many signs that I made the right decision by hiring this company, even down to Nicki and I having the same hairstyle on my wedding day... an updo bun style that neither of us had ever worn before. If you're looking for the perfect beach wedding, look no further than Island Sands Beach Weddings. Thanks to Nicki, Callie, DJ Dan, and everyone else who made this the best day of our lives thus far!

ied about relying so heavily on a wedding coordinator. The wedding turned out perfect and beautiful thanks to Nicki! She is really sweet and very good at her job, very easy to work with and she didn’t miss a single thing. You’re in great hands with her. Super affordable, I would highly recommend her!
Nicki was really attentive on the day of, she met with us the day before to go over everything and showed up early the day of and was there until the very end. She checked on me constantly throughout the day to keep me updated and made sure everything was on track. She made me feel at ease and I could not have been happier with her. The arch, flowers, chairs, tables, centerpieces, lighting decorations and all other equipment was all high quality stuff, so everything turned out beautifully.
For brides planning from afar, just know that she is very good at her job. Sometimes she takes a day or two to respond to an email, but just know that she’s taking care of it and will get back to you. That made me nervous sometimes, especially when I really wanted to answer immediately. In the end, she missed nothing.
I am so happy I ended up picking Nicki, couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator.
