About this vendor
The Isham Family Farm is more than just a beautiful, rustic wedding barn. We are an authentic, family-owned, working farm that provides a beautiful natural setting for celebrations of all kinds. Located in Williston, Vermont, we have sweeping mountain views, vibrant flowers, and various event spaces. No place is more romantic than the Isham Family Farm.
The Isham family has run the 108-acre farm since 1871, and the original 3,000-square-foot dairy barn dates back to the late 1700s. You and your partner can exchange your vows on the stone patio or the grassy hill, surrounded by mountain views and wildlife. Or utilize the barn space for an indoor ceremony option. After you've exchanged vows, you and up to 200 guests can enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing in the beautiful barn. With its exposed beams, wagon wheel chandeliers, and stunning natural light, it will provide an elegant setting for your celebration.
The team at Isham Family Farms aims to provide everything needed to host the wedding of your dreams. All venue rentals include full access to the property from Friday noon until Sunday at noon, with rehearsal dinners included in the wedding package. Our handmade oak tables, chairs, benches, and bar are also included to use throughout your event. However you envision your wedding day, our team will work tirelessly to ensure your celebration is truly unforgettable.

Isham is a uniquely beautiful and magical place, and we're so grateful to have gotten married there! From our first call with Farmer Mike (the 5th-generation owner of the farm), we...
had the loveliest experience. Mike and his wife Helen made us feel at home. They are so kind, genuine, and brimming with contagious joy. We plan to come back and visit Isham many times in the years to come. We're forever grateful to Mike and Helen for having us!
We'd be remiss if we didn't mention a few of the things that make Isham special:
They only host one wedding a weekend, and make the farm available as a welcome/rehearsal dinner venue on Friday and for brunch on Sunday, all included in the rental cost.
They have a new getting-ready area for the bridal party, so we got to spend the entire day in the space, and even picnic outside in our matching bathrobes!
Isham is a hub for the local community: they host a weekly farmer's market, as well as community theater productions. When we first visited, they'd held a middle school cabaret in the barn the night before. They encourage couples who get married on the farm to come back and visit. Isham is a fantastic wedding venue, with everything they need to accomplish that, but it's also not just a wedding venue, and you feel the history and love of a family-owned, beautifully cared for property when you're there.
The ceremony site is on a gorgeous and secluded hill, with beautiful views and no noise pollution.
The dinner tables are beautifully handmade.
We truly can’t recommend Isham highly enough!
Isham family farm is a wonderful place to have a wedding! Mike and Helen helped us through the process of setting up but also allowed us to make it our own. We highly recommend get...
ting married at this beautiful venue!
Isham Family Farm was the only venue we needed to look at for our wedding weekend. Helen and Mike are the best and made us feel like one of the family from the start. The farm and ...
barn are absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect spot for our wedding celebration with family and friends. We wanted a casual, outdoor space with an option for indoor option and this place delivered. Before and during the weekend, Mike and Helen worked with us to solidify the details with all the vendors we had chosen and helped everything run smoothly. Countless guests have commented on how wonderful the space was and how gracious Mike and Helen were. If you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding spot in Vermont, this is the place. Isham family Farm is the best!
Farmer Mike and His lovely wife Helen are great people to work with the Barn is gorgeous and makes for a great back drop for a pure vermont wedding.
We felt very fortunate and lucky to be allowed to have our wedding here! The place was absolutely magnificent! Farmer Mike was extremely helpful, and a huge hit with the guests! ...
We could not have been happier with the venue and owner! He only allows only 5 a 6 weddings a year there because it’s an actual functioning farm. The price was very reasonable and you have the venue from Thursday - Sunday at noon! The other venues we looked at were about the same cost, per day. Totally worth every penny! I hope you are as lucky enough as we were to have your wedding here. There are no cooking facilities but there is power for a caterer. The water in the hose at the barn is not potable, so bring your own. You will also need portapotties. The view from the top of the hill where ceremonies take place is amazing! You can chose to have a background of Mt. Mansfield, Camels Hump, both, or neither. Unfortunately, it rained for our ceremony, but the backup plan in the barn was gorgeous too. Many of our guests, including our photographers, said it was the most beautiful place they have ever been to for a wedding. I truly can’t say enough about how extremely happy we were about having our wedding here! If your guests want maple to take home with them, farmer mike makes an amazing syrup you can buy. Please consider having your wedding here, you won’t be disappointed!
Isham Family Farm and Farmer Mike were everything and more that we could have hoped for on our wedding day. The farm was the perfect setting for our Rustic Vermont Wedding. We were...
lucky to have a perfect day, weather-wise, with warm temps and sunny skies, but even in the rain the venue is absolutely breathtaking. The barn is perfectly renovated, and maintains a great rustic charm while still providing space and amenities to make one's wedding day flow smoothly.
Farmer Mike went above and beyond every step of the way, helping us out in so many ways the entire wedding weekend, from initial set up on Thursday through take down on Sunday afternoon. He provided well-heeded advice and support, as well as wagon rides to the top of the hill (our ceremony site) with gorgeous views of Mount Mansfield and Camel's Hump. The farm maintains a very intimate feel since it only has six weddings per year. We feel very blessed to have had our wedding at this special, unique spot, and cannot thank Farmer Mike enough for all the help and kindness he provided us.
Getting married at the Isham Farm was the best decision we made! Mike is incredibly helpful, involved, and responsive - even while operating a functioning farm. There are several o...
ptions on his property for outdoor ceremony locations, and the barn provides a beautiful space to hold the reception - minimal decoration required! With all of the flexibility, you can really make your wedding your own.
