Kelsie went above and beyond for my husband and I for our engagement photos and our wedding day! She got just the right angles and lighting, and even made some helpful suggestions ...
about our ceremony location! She also kept the mood light despite everyone’s nerves, which was super nice!! We’re so happy we went with her and I can’t recommend her enough!
Everyone should have a photographer like Kelsie.
Even before our wedding, Kelsie was so organized. She helped build a timeline for the day, gave me plenty of advice for what to in...
clude in an emergency kit and things to consider. I knew that she was the perfect fit for our special day from the start.
When she arrived the day of our wedding, Kelsie was immediately the consummate professional. Without interrupting hair appointments and other getting ready tasks, she quietly slipped between rooms to capture brief moments of joy and family time. Her confidence, calm, and ready-to-go attitude put everyone at ease. She went above and beyond by helping manage a few smaller crises, like it was nothing. My husband, our wedding party, and our families all can attest to her incredible ability to set the tone and ensure everyone felt confident and collected. The entire day and night, she was always there to help, but was never interrupting or in the way. I am so thankful for her presence.
But I know you're wondering about the photos. And can I just say....WOW. Kelsie's mastery of lighting, of color, of scale is simply impeccable. Every photo is shot in a way that highlights the magic and joy of our day, framing the world in those moments as something both intimate and larger-than-life. She captured the love we share with each other and with our families and friends as something so wonderful, effortless, and fun. As a plus-size bride, I was concerned that the photos would not be flattering to me, but I look at them now and see myself as beautiful as any other bride - and that's truly a gift.
I am forever thankful to Kelsie (and Harley!) for all that they do. Above and beyond doesn't begin to cover it. There are no words that can express how happy we are with our experience and these memories. I am already thinking ahead to when we can book them for more photos.
If you're considering Intricate Exposures for your special day, for family portraits, for anything - believe me, it's absolutely worth it.
Kelsie was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with! She is SO fun, talented, professional, capable and added great energy to our celebration! Would 100% rebook her over and over again, ...

ited to hire her for our wedding. She is helpful, creative, artistic, kind, silly, accommodating, and honest. We JUST got married so we're still waiting for all our wedding photos but we got SO MANY compliments on our engagement photos. She goes above and beyond and does amazing work. Highly recommend!

ade taking engagement and wedding photos that much easier. She is quick, creative, and so talented. You will not be disappointed!
Hiring Intricate Exposures for our engagement/wedding photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, if not the best. Photography was most important to us b...
ecause that's how you keep the wedding alive for years to come. Not only did Kelsie and Harley not disappoint, but they completely blew us away. We have *gorgeous* images of my husband and me, family, guests at the wedding, and the in-between but still important moments. They have such a creative and sentimental style with a touch of "moodiness." Just absolutely beautiful.
Personality wise, they're very friendly and approachable. When we were "interviewing" photographers, they set my husband and me at ease right away. We are camera shy people, but they did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable in front of the lens (and herding our large and talkative families!). Lastly, their prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch wedding photography.
We can’t say enough great things about Kelsie and Harley! We were immediately drawn to the undeniable talent and quality of the photography- we wanted photos that captured a feelin...
g, and Kelsie does that without fail. Their flexibility (and support!) during COVID-related reschedules and location changes was so helpful and reassuring. From our very first meeting until the end, we never doubted that we made the right choice. Kelsie and Harley are both so kind, funny, and easy to work with- our family members kept asking if we were old friends. Plus, our photos are gorgeous. We can’t recommend them enough!

. They make your whole family feel comfortable. They had all 5 of our kids enjoying the whole process! Their work is for artistic and beautiful. They find all the most beautiful candid moments and capture them for life! We would choose this husband and wife duo over and over again!

essed by the quality of her work, her sense of humor and how she works with people in general. There is no other photographer we would have wanted to shoot our wedding. Kelsie and her husband are such a great team and work so well together - LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER! Their prices are beyond fair for the amount of photos you get, as well as the quality and the beautiful candid moments.
I was on a tight budget for my wedding, but the most important thing to me was amazing pictures. I spent weeks looking for the right photographer and asking for recommendations. IN...
TRICATE EXPOSURES IS SERIOUSLY SO AMAZING. I would have paid double for what I received. Not only did she make my husband and I feel super comfortable.... almost like she was just a friend hanging out with us, but during the wedding she would give me little tips ...like remind me to breathe and take in the moment...she helped me tie the PERFECT bow on the back of my dress and she's so experienced in everything wedding related that I would have had her do an elopement for us if that opportunity was available. I was beyond impressed with Kelsie. I'm confident saying ANYONE who goes with this photographer, will not just be happy, but extremely impressed.
I highly recommend booking Intricate Exposures! It was definitely the best decision in our whole wedding planning process! Kelsie is so sweet and a true pro. As an out-of-state bri...
de, we only met once before the wedding but she blew me away with her ability to work in any condition. Our engagement shoot was in freezing single digit temperatures limiting our time outside and she still took so many spectacular photos. We then worked from afar to discuss the details of the wedding photography, and she was very responsive over email and the phone. She not only nailed the style and shots we wanted, but she had so many practical suggestions from timing to logistics. On the day of the wedding, Kelsie and Harley (our videographer and her awesome husband) were very professional and set everyone at ease. They were genuinely committed to making our wedding the best experience and the photographs and videography were such a smooth process. The photos were absolutely breathtaking (magazine quality!) and the video snippet blew us away. We can't wait to get everything back and know it will be phenomenal!
Kelsie is amazing!
Kelsie is, by far, the most wonderful photographer I’ve had the chance to work with! Our photos are absolutely stunning and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. ...
Could not recommend her enough!!
