We ended up getting paired with a DJ for our event that has known my dad for almost 20 years which is such a small world. Our DJ Chad was fantastic work work with. He reached out for a phone call about a week before our wedding to discuss the day and was very helpful with suggestions. Our event went very smoothly with instant request DJs!

f the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to and that they could have kept dancing all night. Honestly, if we could have kept the party going until morning, I’m pretty sure we would have! 😂 Bryant absolutely nailed the vibe all night long — he even got out on the dance floor with everyone! He wasn’t just our DJ, he felt like part of the party, and our guests LOVED him. The entire night was an absolute blast, and Bryant was such a huge part of making it that way. Seriously the best. We could not recommend him enough!

We did not pay for the black-tie upgrade (which allows you to select your own premium DJ), but we were lucky enough to be paired with a premium DJ, Xavier, anyway. If you’re looking for a great wedding DJ without spending a ton, we would definitely recommend booking with Instant Request and opting for the black-tie upgrade so you can select your specific DJ. We had a great experience with Xavier!

needs. When there was a technical difficulty (not instant requests fault) in getting specific music playing for our patio hour, Randy was like MacGyver and had us back up and running in little time. Book with Randy if you want the best!

d was a little nervous, but Tom did AMAZING and it was everything we hoped it would be. Before the wedding, the online event planner was super easy to use and provided so much comfort knowing everything was uploaded. The day of the wedding was absolutely seamless, Tom was phenomenal, and he did everything we asked and more. He was amazing at reading the dance floor and keeping everybody engaged, as well as perfecting the timing of everything we did. We had such a great experience and LOVED every moment working with Tom and the whole crew at instant request. Not only did we have a great experience, we got compliments from multiple guests. If you are looking for a sign to book them for your wedding, DO it!!!

Everyone could hear everything outside (even with the waterfall in background) with the speaker(s) & mic during the outdoor ceremony and she provided the same at the reception inside. She even let one of the kid guests “help/watch her DJ close up” her DJ back by her set up(he thought it was so cool!) Kalli helped make our wedding day/night amazing! Thank you Kalli!!

I sent him the wrong playlist and only realized a week before hand and he still made it work and I couldn’t be more thankful. The dance was my favorite part of the night it went perfectly. s fantastic. From cocktail hour to dinner to the dance floor, he nailed the music, and even included some great Spanish/reggaeton music for the groom's side. We loved Sean and Instant Request DJ was easy to work with. We were pleasantly surprised with the price given the great value.

h our DJ Kalli were incredibly positive! Kalli followed our playlist and ceremony music skillfully, and managed the evening masterfully. Kalli was matched with us after talking with Matt from Instant Request about our vision for the night, and about our own backgrounds and the general demographics of our event attendees. We really feel as if the night could not have gone more smoothly. Everyone commented on the music, the DJ's enthusiasm, and general energy in the room - especially as the dance portion of the night got under way. I highly recommend Instant Request and would use them again without hesitation!

minor changes. Even helped prank my dad with or father daughter dance! She kept the dance floor occupied all night and was so supportive and had such a good energy. Would hire again- especially if Tate was our DJ!

, knew where to be and when, did a good job communicating day of, and professionally set up equipment both for our ceremony (although we only needed a mic and one speaker) and for the reception. Where things fell short were: 1) for our introduction to the reception "for the first time as a married couple" he called me (groom) by the wrong name, he used the name of our photographer, Eric, which doesn't come close to my name. 2) Admittedly, we had a long "must play" list for the dance floor after dinner, about 50 songs. But we had noted many of them (40-45) didn't need to be played in full, maybe 2 minutes each on average or so. We had 2 prep calls with DJ Damani and had sent a spreadsheet over with our list before the second call, and he did not mention at any point that playing all of them would be an issue. He ended up missing about 20 songs/40% of our list in total. He did however have time to play about 35 songs that were not on our list, so he certainly had the time to play them. they were not obscure songs either, like "Family Affair" by Mary J. Blige, "Golden" by HUNTR/X, and "Friends in low places" by Garth Brooks among others. The songs he did play were enjoyable, and a lot of common/popular songs which was good. But it also felt lazy as if it were chunks of playlists he had created in the past, and didn't want to do the work to put together our specific requests. 3) on one of our preparation calls, he asked us to text him important details like the specialty dances and first dance, and order of events. It felt unprofessional at best, but what was more frustrating is the about 5 hours we had to put into communicating all these details into a complicated and antiquated website. So we had to do about double the work, once well in advance of the wedding but then a second time with about a week and a half left before our wedding date. Not the best time to waste time 4) he played our final song twice. We had discussed a plan that we'd like to end the night with a specific slow song, but as its wrapping up, cut it off and say something like "this is the real last song for the party", and play a faster tempo, good dancing, fun end of the night song. He did do a great job of executing this, but he played the song we requested as final in the later-middle of the night. Given he left songs off our must play it would've been nice not to waste a song, duplicating a song really isn't fun anyway, and we were left thinking he just wasn't going to play our final song as requested for a while. Ultimately he did, but just a weird note to the night. 5) we didn't leave a tip and the manager at Instant Request, Mitch, did say he appreciated the honesty of that, but otherwise I would have thought this would be grounds for a partial refund. We had a January wedding, offseason, so it was indicated to us we would bet getting assigned a pretty good DJ. In fairness it wasn't overly expensive, about $1,200, but felt like some of these mistakes were so unprofessional that it would be fair to do more than an apology email (from Mitch the manager, not from the actual DJ Damani).

on the day of. We were lucky to get DJ Rick to DJ on our wedding day, and he was great! I think instant request and DJ Rick were incredible!

Their system for pairing you up with your DJ worked really well for us, and we couldn’t be happier with our assigned DJ. Communication with Instant Request’s was a breeze. My husband and I were highly satisfied with their service.

tead. Auctavius was FANTASTIC. He read the room, catered to the few kids we had at our wedding in a way that everyone else enjoyed the songs too, and kept the vibe going the whole party. We had a phone call with him before the wedding where he asked lots of great questions and got us thinking about a few things we hadn't before. There were a few instances where we didn't have a chosen song or timing and told him we would trust his judgement, and I honestly can't remember what those were because they were so seamless and perfect. I will recommend Auctavius to any and everyone.

what we wanted for the dance. Our wedding included different ethnic songs, and it was easy to collaborate on what would be best for the flow of the dance. Outside of his great song selections, the one thing we appreciated most was that we could trust him. We did not have to "worry" about the flow, the songs that would be played, etc. (on the day of) because we truly trusted him to use his God-given talent to engage the guests and have a successful dance. It felt so reassuring to go into the wedding day with that trust! I would hire DJ Jimmy for any event where you want to get the guests up, moving, and dancing.

d a natural flow through the night. Many times our guests came up to us during the dancing and said “Your DJ can’t miss!” Our other vendors even passed along appreciation for his proactive communication and professionalism. We could not be happier with the service!

We were lucky enough to be paired with Erin for our wedding day, and she was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day team! She was punctual, well prepared, and helped our day run smoothly! She communicated with our photographer to make sure things stayed on time, and made the requested announcements to guests to make sure everyone know what was going on. Erin perfectly played our music requests for the ceremony, social hour, and dinner, and kept the dance floor alive during the reception! Her dance music was a perfect blend of requests, must play songs, and intuitively choosing songs our crowd liked! We are thrilled we had Erin as our DJ and would recommend her to anyone!

ct quick to respond and matched us with a DJ, Danny, he was great. Our venue had some more specific sound needs we were nervous about and he was proactive finding a solution and followed up with us on the game plan. They did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and sound. 

DJ and he was PHENOMENAL!! We got so many compliments from guests on how great he was and how much fun they had. Thank you Instant Request and Jimmy for being great!

Our DJ made announcements throughout the night which was great! There was a phone consultation a few weeks before the wedding where we were about to talk to our DJ and walk through the day with him. Highly recommend!!
