Kelly did our full wedding planning for our Williamsburg wedding in October. She was absolutely amazing, took care of all our details, gave incredible recommendations for all of ou...
r vendors (we had to bring in everything to our venue) and coordinated everything. On the day of - myself (the bride) and my family just got to enjoy the day, and all the beautiful details that Kelly took care of. She has an incredible team, and she’s very organized, and gets stuff done! I’ve told my whole family that I literally wouldn’t have known where to start without her. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner - do it. If you’re thinking about hiring Kelly - DEFINITELY do it!
Kelly was the most amazing planner we could have hoped for, for our wedding. We clicked with Kelly immediately on the phone before we even met. She was excited about our vision for...
our ceremony and reception. Her recommended vendor contacts for our event were all experienced, professional, and reliable. I loved having Kelly with me while I attended dress fittings, during our cake tastings, and meeting with the florist. Kelly was on top of every detail. We were particular about how we wanted the reception room to look, and Kelly ensured that the florist, lighting, DJ, equipment rental, and catering teams made our vision a reality. The decorations and flowers and lighting at the venue were breathtaking. On our wedding day, it was wonderful not having to worry about anything, knowing that Kelly was on top of the timeline that she created and distributed to the vendors. She made sure we were where we were supposed to be throughout the day. Kelly added many special touches to surprise us, and we loved all of it. We felt she truly cared about us and making our wedding a day to remember. You will not be disappointed having this wonderful planner make your wedding dreams come true.
Kelly was fantastic in helping to make our day go so smoothly! She is a headstrong, go-getter who will not let anything go wrong on your day. She was great to have at all of the pl...
anning meetings with different vendors because she knew what was right, what was wrong, and she spoke her mind to get things done ;) She had great suggestions and all the vendors worked so well with her, that everything came together so well. Thank you Kelly!
I don't even know where I should begin, but bottom line, Kelly is nothing short of AMAZING. When I found Kelly, I was in panic mode to say the least. I had been working with anothe...
r planner for over a year who essentially failed to fulfill her obligations. We were 6 months away from our wedding date, and I was 5 minutes away from a melt down. After filling out a contact request form on her website, Kelly CALLED (not emailed) me immediately. She was thorough and asked as many questions as she could to understand my unique situation. We met face-to-face later that week, which was amazing considering we were both a considerable distance away from each other, but never once did Kelly hesitate to help. From that day, Kelly guided us every step of the way. Making sure we stayed within our budget but didn't sacrifice our vision at all. Kelly became more than a planner, but family. She went above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of- she was my "wedding mom." She kept me focused (which isn't an easy task) and double checked to make sure every "t" was crossed and every "i" was dotted. I know she truly cared about our wedding as much as we did; and it was genuine. Everything was beautiful, more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Truthfully speaking, I miss her to pieces! As crazy as it sounds, I'd get married again just to work with her every day.
Kelly, James and I can't thank you enough for all your hard work. Just the fact that we know it's more than "work" for you means a lot. We'll be forever grateful for you!
We hired Kelly last year for our September wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! She was there from the beginning to help us navigate through the overwhelming proce...
ss of wedding planning. From finding and assisting in contract negotiations with our various vendors to the day of coordination she was there to offer her expertise every step of the way! Kelly is extremely personable and has alot of partnerships, insight, and knowledge within the industry. With her bubbly personality and never ending energy she will put everything into making any event that she takes on a success!
Kelly was truly a godsend when I hired her two months before my June wedding as my day of coordinator. She really took the time to know me and my family (our first meeting together...
was over three and a half hours long!). She is truly indispensable when dealing with difficult vendors (I had two that were extremely difficult to ever get a hold of and were constantly giving me the slip), and is always ready and eager to take the weight off your shoulders. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner so I could have hired her as a full wedding coordinator instead of a day of coordinator. There is so much unnecessary stress related to weddings now days, and I'm telling you that hiring Kelly as your coordinator will certainly lighten your load!
Throughout my entire wedding planning Kelly was absolutely phenomenal! We met on a regular basis and she always listened to what I wanted out of the wedding and would make suggest...
ions based on what I wanted. She got to know me and was able to offer so much helpful advice. She also handled so many details that made the planning for myself and my mother much less stressful. She is extremely professional but also very warm and friendly. I would advise any planning a wedding in the area to use her. She has a lot of experience and has great relationships with so many vendors that she can always fin a good deal that will help keep you in your budget. I was so blessed to have her as my planner. She made my wedding very special. Thank you, Kelly!
I cannot sing Kelly’s praises enough! From the beginning of the planning process to the end of the wedding reception Kelly was there to ensure everything went as it should. She ...
gave excellent vendor suggestions and took care of the booking process, coordinated with each vendor, and ensured that our vision was met and exceeded for our wedding day. I have heard horror stories of what can go wrong on a wedding day but I must say that there was not a single thing that went wrong for us, our day was a true fairy tale. I attribute the seamlessness of our wedding to Kelly. Joe, myself, and friends and family were able to enjoy the day with no worries because we knew that Kelly was taking care of whatever needed to be done and ensuring that it was done exceptionally well. For any bride considering a wedding coordinator first I say, “Put this at the top of your budget, it is well worth it!” and second, “Use Events by Kelly, she is amazing!”
