I recently had the pleasure of working with Dottie from Inspired Design of NC for my wedding at Chestnut Ridge this past May, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Dottie was...
absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. She provided so much guidance and support throughout the planning process, and she really brought my vision to life!
The flowers on our wedding day were stunning, featuring beautiful wildflowers that perfectly captured the natural, elegant feel we wanted. My bouquet and our chuppah were particularly breathtaking, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous everything looked. Dottie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and I am so grateful for her dedication and talent!

initial consultation to the final delivery, every aspect of the experience was exceptional.
From the moment we met, Dottie took the time to understand our vision and preferences. She listened attentively to our ideas and offered creative suggestions that perfectly captured the theme of our wedding.
On the big day, we were absolutely blown away by the floral arrangements! The bouquets were stunning, with a beautiful mix of colors and textures that met the thematic design we were going for. The centerpieces were equally impressive, adding an elegant touch to each table. Every detail was meticulously crafted, and it was clear that Dottie poured her heart into each arrangement. We had a private room reveal before the guests entered the reception and were left quite literally speechless by Dottie and her team's efforts.
The quality of the flowers was outstanding. They were fresh, vibrant, and lasted well beyond the wedding day (we have them all over ours and our moms' living rooms still).
Dottie made the entire process stress-free. She was organized, punctual, and handled all the logistics with ease, even going above and beyond to allow us to see all of her inventory. We felt completely at ease knowing that she had everything under control, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day.
If you are looking for a talented and passionate florist for your wedding, I wholeheartedly recommend Inspired Design of NC. They brought my floral dreams to life and contributed to making our special day unforgettable. Thank you, Dottie, for your incredible work and for helping to create such a beautiful atmosphere!

t talked I was really torn between two floral design teams and I am so incredibly grateful to have chosen Inspired Designs. From the initial phone call with Dottie, to a design session in her studio and last minute changes/modifications, she was so incredibly accommodating and helped ease so much stress during the planning process. We always felt like she truly cared about us and our wedding day as if it was someone in her own family (just look at the sweet pictures of her and my husband on our wedding day). t if there needs to be deviations. Given COVID supply changes, Dottie was honest from the beginning regarding what floral substitutions would make more sense for our budget while still staying true to our vision. On the day of the wedding, Dottie’s floral arrangements literally brought me to tears. They were so elegant, organic, and lush, everything my little mind could have wanted and imaged and so much more. Her creations will forever live in my mind as the essence of beauty for that day. I cannot thank her enough for everything that she created. If you book her, you will not be disappointed!

y son’s Rehearsal Dinner at the Country Club of Asheville in November. Fall blooms, berries and greens, magnolia leaf escort cards, welcoming signage and the cutest little painted pumpkins created a classic, clever backdrop for the evening. Professional service, meticulous attention to detail, and expert advice are just a few benefits of working with these two talented women!

al designs. Our first floral trial run was for a BRIDAL PORTRAIT bouquet, which I highly recommend. My MIL also used Inspired Design for our rehearsal dinner flowers and we were able to reuse them at the wedding! Dottie went above and beyond for my wedding day despite some tight scheduling via the venue. She created a flower aisle that was stunning and then transferred it inside to create a floral stage around the band. We also had a very dramatic floral entrance that the guests adored. My goal was to have the flowers be the pop of spring in our wedding and she exceeded our expectations. Dottie really takes good care of her brides and is such a sweet person. You WANT Inspired Design there on your wedding day, trust me!

wers, and Dottie took my keywords (elegant, romantic, glam) and made the perfect floral recommendations to bring my vision to life. At our in-person meeting, we even created a variety of mini arrangements so I could physically see various flower combinations to make sure I landed on the perfect one! sented a design with the perfect blend of accessories, flowers, and arrangements for our ceremony and reception at The Ridge. She spent a lot of time discussing her vision for the venue and offered ways to save on cost with a plan to repurpose some of the arrangements from the ceremony for the reception. She was attentive to our responses and created a picture perfect setting. Dottie stayed in touch, was prompt, and able to adapt to a table layout change needed at the last minute with ease. Our entire wedding weekend was fantastic and Dottie of Inspired Design is at the top of the list of vendors we hired!

was working with a trusted old friend…….she was honest, fair, gifted and fun! She had so many fabulous ideas. Best of all, she really considered both our budgets….wedding and rehearsal. She was able ( and willing) to incorporate flowers from the rehearsal to the wedding. When I arrived to the rehearsal dinner at the Asheville Country Club, I was so impressed by Dottie’s Magic….from beautiful centerpieces to an incredibly decorated mantle, everything was just perfect. Best of all, Dottie and her talented crew transported all these gorgeous arrangements to the wedding venue where they were used again. It was so nice to see things being reused and not thrown out. I would wholeheartedly recommend inspired Design.

I was so in love with everything she was thinking that we had her do our rehearsal dinner as well, and then we repurposed those beautiful floral arrangements for the wedding day! It was everything I dreamed of and more thanks to the amazing work of Dottie and her team. We spent so much time thinking about what the unique element we wanted to do for our special day and the “photo op greenery wall” she created (placing every vine by hand) was PHENOMENAL!!!! We HIGHLY recommend Inspired Designs NC for any of your floral needs 🤍

nt to life with florals and ceiling greenery for our August 2021 wedding which was held at The Venue in downtown Asheville. While I was thrilled with every aspect of our wedding, the flowers were absolute standouts! The way they smelled... FANTASTIC. I truly didn't know flowers could smell this good or this strong! The bouquet Dottie wound up creating for me was perfect for the soft elegance of my dress and my petite frame - she thought of everything and surpassed perfection!
Beyond her talent, Dottie exudes positive energy and has the sweetest personality and such a kind heart. Thank you, Dottie, for helping to create our dream wedding!! I can't imagine going through the weekend without your creativity and skill!

ed me on a few questionable ideas, and really pulled all design elements together with her floral artistry. She has an eye for design, color and texture that allows her to elevate any space into something truly magical. She created a beautiful and appropriately sized bouquet for me (I'm little), a crescent moon shaped arbor as a nod to the engravings in our wedding rings, created floral dog collars for our pups, and pulled my navy accents together with my favorite panda anemones (which I have no idea how she found because they were out of season, but she made it happen!).

She even let me watch her assemble my bouquets the day before the wedding, because she knows how much I love flowers. She was so encouraging to me planning my wedding during COVID, and I truly cannot imagine my wedding day with her. I love you Dottie! She will go above and beyond for you.

d/at-home venue, and it was completely transformed into a touchingly special space thanks to incredible floral design. Dottie immediately understood my vision of the relaxed elegance in Dutch Masters-inspired fine art florals, but also understood my practical need for versatile pieces that could be used in different ways in unpredictable circumstances. I had complete peace of mind that she would make the floral design at my wedding perfect and beautiful, no matter what she had to work with. I knew I would be 100% happy with the outcome, even if it wasn’t the “vision” I had at the beginning. I’m pretty sure that if she had needed to forage woods and neighborhood gardens, she would have, and I would still have been blown away. I am from Asheville, and for years I have heard only wonderful things about Inspired Designs from other brides and vendors. Dottie was wonderfully easy to work with — an artist but also a gardener and an experienced wedding vendor. She understands the aesthetics of design, and she is deeply familiar with the plants she works with, but she also has practical experience with the nuances of event details. The value added to my wedding and wedding planning process was priceless. I cannot recommend Inspired Designs of NC highly enough!

We settled on an intimate wedding at our house and she brought us flowers and it was beautiful! I highly recommend her for any of your needs, she is an amazing florist and person!
