he got a sister. I call her tiny but mighty. She is incredibly organized and can get anything and everything done for you. She will even hell with the smallest things, such as, not having your bridal party chewing gum when everyone is up at the alter. She has a great heart and can recommend the best vendors. We all absolutely adored her and her ability to plan the perfect wedding.

dding, and I am so grateful we hired a competent, experienced, professional, and friendly planner. I interviewed around a dozen planners, and as soon as I spoke with Sandy I knew she was the right fit. She took charge during our initial call which was the first good sign, as with other planners I was needing to take the lead. We originally thought we'd get married in Arizona, but Sandy agreed to follow us to Mexico when we booked a venue in Cabo. She found all of our vendors for photography, rentals, flowers, hair and makeup, photo booth, paper products, and live musician for the ceremony. She gave me multiple options for each to choose from. She stayed within our budget and did the initial negotiating, and didn't mind at all when I would reach out to vendors to negotiate further or change things. She chased people when they weren't being responsive, and always found time when we needed to talk. She also communicated with our venue and made sure that all my questions were answered and everything I wanted confirmed was confirmed. My absolute favorite thing she did was handle and coordinate the entire itinerary and vendors, and stay with us the entire time at our wedding (it was a LONG day)! I felt so calm and happy on my wedding day, I wasn't stressed at all. She handled when a guest who didn't have a plus 1 brought one anyway and didn't tell anyone, she let me use her room to wait out of the sun, freshen up, and change into my reception dress, and she helped when one of our guests had a medical emergency and needed to go to the hospital. She encouraged me to do a first look which I am so grateful for, and she let the DJ know when we impromptu wanted to take pics with all the tables during 1 song. I'm sure she did 100 other behind the scenes things to make our wedding run smoothly. She was always in control and was always aware of what was happening. She also sent us such a thoughtful wedding package before we flew out. When I realized I wouldn't be corresponding with her anymore after the wedding I actually felt pretty sad! She is a lovely human being and she is an expert at her job. Trust that if you hire her you will be in great hands, and you will love your wedding as much as we did. Additional advice - I really wanted her to do everything for me, but in reality that's just not possible. She will take the lead, but know you will have to work with her on things and give answers, even if you don't care what the forks look like haha. Also know that she has her own system with emailing and stuff, so reply to the threads she creates to keep everything organized. It will be a lot of emails in the beginning as she gives you options, but you'll be glad when you can quickly find things as you make your selections! If you want to make your own spreadsheet or something to keep track on your own like I did, using google docs would be a big help.

She was so sweet and immediately offered to give us a little tour and showed us her binder for the day and we were blown away by how organized she was and how she was so on top of everything that she wasn't worried about stepping away for a moment to talk to us. We hired her the next week and it was by far the best decision I made of my entire wedding. I was planning a wedding in Arizona from New Mexico and depended on her for recommending all vendors from the florist to my dress alterations and every single one was amazing! Sandy is professional, patient, responsive and went over and beyond for absolutely everything. Even personally finding a last minute babysitter for my ring bearers. I found out later that there were a few random hiccups before the wedding that I never knew about because she just handled them perfectly without bothering me with them on my big day. We loved Sandy, in fact, the only tear I shed the whole wedding was when she came up to us during dinner and told us she would be sad that we won't get to talk every day now. I miss her already and highly recommend In Awe Weddings!

start to finish. Even before she was formally hired, she gave us ideas of places to see and things to look for. Once hired, she gave us great leads on vendors, but never pushed, wanting the bride to find the right "fit." No one could have predicted covid and having to re-schedule the wedding three times. Each time, Sandy handled it professionally, quickly, completely, and with great calmness. She was the perfect communicator throughout, and neither I nor my daughter, the bride, ever felt we weren't getting her full help and attention. Whether email, phone or text, she was 100% quick to respond. She is not only professional and talented and experienced, she is just downright kind and caring. She never tried to push her own agenda, always wanted to know my daughter's vision and desire. Our wedding was just days ago, Sunday, 9/19/21, and we had two crises, one on Friday and one on Saturday, of important items that didn't show up. (Neither item was ordered by Sandy, we had taken care of these two things ourselves.) In both cases, my daughter was able to contact Sandy immediately and she came up with perfect alternatives that allowed the wedding to go off with no one knowing the difference. Her connections and experience are truly critical if you are having a Phoenix or Sedona wedding. She was there from early in the morning until after it ended, always calm, always overseeing, making sure everything went off as planned. It was, at long last, the wedding my daughter dreamed of and it couldn't have happened without Sandy. I truly cannot say enough about how thankful we are that she was our choice. She is exceptional as a wedding planner and as a person. I will actually miss working with her!

She is SO organized, she has a step by step minute by minute timeline that ensures everything goes on schedule. The entire day I didn’t have to worry about a thing, she set up my tables, dealt with all my vendors, went to fill up all my balloons, brought props for me to use( candles, flower basket, sign holder, cake knife etc) saved me so much money on other aspects of the wedding. At the end of the night when I went up to my room she had candles everywhere, wedding cake by our bed and all of our flowers scattered throughout. It was a complete fairytale from start to finish. When we first met with Sandy we were only intending to hire her as a day of coordinator, but after talking with her and seeing how reasonable the pricing was for full wedding planning we decided to hire her for the whole package. Throughout the wedding planning process, Sandy was there to organize every meeting, take care of all of the details and communication with vendors and provide recommendations. Everyone kept asking us how we were dealing with the stress of wedding planning, but there was no stress throughout because Sandy helped take care of so much and was quick to respond to any question or concern that we had. By the time we even had a question she already had the answer for us. Every vendor that she recommended was on point and provided great service the day of, she truly delivered on providing our dream wedding and we could not have done this without her. When working with vendors they all had the same reaction knowing we had Sandy "oh your wedding is going to be great." Everybody loved working with her from us to our vendors to our parents. Sandy was always there for us and it was because of her that we got to have our dream wedding. Even when plans had to change on the fly day of she was in total control and made sure we had the most amazing day possible. Organization: Sandy is highly organized which makes the planning process very smooth. This ensures you are on track with your timeline and reduces stress throughout the process. Etiquette: Sandy is extremely knowledgeable in this area. She was helpful in navigating issues that arose that I didn’t know how to handle whether it be with vendors, family etc.

a wedding planner from many others was difficult. However, after several phone calls and emails, Sandy was the most genuine, honest, and comfortable person to trust my wedding. Her price was more reasonable compared to other wedding planners. Looking back, Sandy did more than what she charged us for her service. During the whole year of wedding planning, I would share ideas of what I would like my wedding to be. However, as a perfectionist and doctor, I did not have the creative mind to visualize the overall picture of my wedding. But Sandy, who is the expert on weddings was honest and said, "yes or no," to ideas that did not fit the rustic, elegant, timeless theme of the wedding. She kept me from straying away from my vision. She had to remind me not to worry because she had it under control and would make it BEAUTIFUL. lol. And she did! Sandy did not hesitate to work around my schedule. She was available at any time of the day by email or phone. She mailed different swatches of table linen because I was not physically available to meet in arizona. She introduced me to the most amazing vendors for my wedding. Everyone at the wedding LOVED Heartline Cafe and PJ's cake. Her makeup and hairstylist, Allison was amazing too. I loved my makeup and hair. Overall, the wedding was BEAUTIFUL and just how I wanted; well organized, elegant and timeless. The bride and groom are out of state for grad school and our event took place in Mund's Park.
