Impulse Imagery

y enough to have Nicole as your photographer (my experience was with my recent wedding, but honestly - her work for any occasion is breathtaking) you are really in for an experience. To start, her photos for my engagement photo session, and most recently, my wedding at the University of Notre Dame are nothing short of perfection. As a Chicago resident, who has been to many weddings within the past year, I can honestly say that none of the photographers *the wedding photos from the wedding* come anywhere close to the sort of stunning work that I have seen from Nicole. Nicole prides herself on her talent for color - and by far- is this true! The vivid blues and gold of the Basilica… the fall foliage of the campus… even the details on my flowers - were all a true standout. Do not be fooled, however, her black and white photos are equally breathtaking. I speak to her talent as a photographer, and quite frankly you can see just how magnificent a photographer she is on her website. But what truly stunned me was just how much of a wonderful, thoughtful, professional, and all around cheerleader she was for me and my husband at the wedding. Nicole is an experience. When you hire Nicole, you are honestly so lucky to get someone who goes out of her way to make your photo experience everything that YOU want. The day of my wedding was cold and raining… this did not stop Nicole from getting down in the puddles or standing in the rain or basically risking her neck for the perfect shot. Beyond this, she really helped me relax and feel beautiful on my wedding day. She was literally my number 1 fan and made sure I got exactly what I wanted no matter what. When the rain continued and the outside pictures were no longer an option, she made sure to take care of me and my husband and get us to a beautiful indoor location. I can literally go on and on aboBut Nicole as a person. Please take my word - the woman is nothing short of an outstanding and talented photographer, a kind and fearless professional, and a one of a kind person. She really became a huge part of my wedding. I am so so so so grateful I had Nicole as my photographer. I know there are many photographers out there… but nobody compares to Nicole.

many beautiful moments and I'm glad we will have these pictures to show and share with our loved ones for years to come. Every picture has so much detail and elegance. Best decision we ever made.

ery, as well as capturing moments from all of our different family/friend groups. She was also flexible and open to new ideas, which was great for us since we had a somewhat non-traditional, multicultural wedding. Definitely recommend!

pt in touch with us to help us figure out where we wanted to do engagement pictures all the way through our wedding day and after to make sure we got everything we ordered. Nicole has such great vision with her photography. The photos she took were absolutely stunning . She was super flexible the day of our wedding and got all the the shots we wanted in. My bridesmaids absolutely loved her and kept coming up to me and saying how pleasant she was. I can’t thank her enough for all her hard work. I would highly recommend Nicole!!

Thanks, Nicole <3 Carie Young

to change our wedding date due to covid and Nicole was so flexible with us and we really appreciated that. We really enjoyed getting to do an engagement session with her as it prepared us for our wedding day and to know what to expect. Nicole is very creative and captures beautiful, bright colored photos. She is also very receptive to feedback and will make sure to accommodate you so you feel your best. Photography can be very subjective so don't be afraid to say what you like or don't like. I can assure you Nicole wants you to feel your best. She also kept us moving all day to make sure we got all the necessary pictures captured and stayed til the very end of our reception. We are so glad Nicole was able to be a part of our special day and capture all of our wedding photos. She does great work and is amazing to work with. We have received so many compliments from family and friends on our photos!

e need/want we will be contacting her!

guidance during your photo sessions that you may need. Nicole really looks at the environment around you to ensure you have a variety of backgrounds for your photos. We received our photos from our engagement session, ceremony, and reception soon after they were taken. Our original wedding date was in April and we still had our ceremony then. Nicole was willing to split our time with her between the ceremony date in April and our reception date in October. We are truly grateful for her flexibility and willingness to work with us, especially through all of the ups and downs that COVID presented us with. We plan on working with her in the future for other photo sessions that she offers.

able when being posed and photographed. Our wedding photos are absolutely perfect. I would go with her a million times over. I can't imagine ever having anyone else take pictures for us.

priceless memories!

work with. Because of COVID-19 our wedding party consisted of the bride, groom, officiant and one witness. Nicole photographed the bride before the wedding , the ceremony and shoots afterwards. She made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. We quickly got our beautiful images of our special day from Nicole. I HIGHLY Recommend Impulse Imagery

lped us pose when necessary. The photos from our special day are beautiful and we received them timely! We would absolutely recommend Nicole to anyone as their wedding photographer!

r a great experience. She even did family photos for me before we did my engagement photos and the wedding. She's very talented, smart and a people person. I'll definitely be using her for future projects.

t and love them all. Peep my amazing veil photo in her pictures on here!

a wedding photographer Impulse Imagery would have an artsy flair with a personal touch. Thank you Nicole for capturing not only our wedding day, but a story to share through amazing images.

Nicole has an artistic eye and finds natural opportunities within your chosen surroundings. We have used Impulse Imagery for family photos, engagement photos, and wedding photos and have been more than satisfied every time.

er work and willing to accommodate any type of photo request. I never felt like I had to worry about how the photos would turn out or if a certain image would be captured or forgotten. They handled it all and did a beautiful job. I remember standing in the back of the church before walking down the aisle and worrying about not being able to fix my dress and veil in time before the doors opened, but Nicole's team helped me to calm down and fixed everything before I even asked. They helped guide us through traditions like the cake cutting and bouquet toss when we didn't know what to do. They made sure we were having a wonderful day all while capturing such beautiful photos of everything.

sent us our pictures within a month of our wedding and within a week of our engagement session! We are so happy with our pictures!

between a good photographer and a great photographer is in their "vision" of the picture and attention to the details. From the first moment i saw her work i could tell that she had that special "vision" to be able to see and take a great shots. She sees every single little detail even in the group pictures and will tell you if your bow tie is crooked a bit or if a piece of your hair is out of place, so you can fix that and in the end you will get a perfect shot with no surprises. :) She does everything super fast and has tons of ideas on her mind and will suggest you what to do and how to pose. That is very helpful especially if you are on the strict timeline on your wedding day. We took a bunch of great shots in no time. Another one of her talents is to see and capture all of the emotions. All of the pictures are so live! Every time i look at them my heart beats faster and they bring me back to that great day when we got married. Also Nicole is very accommodating and very flexible, she did not mind staying a bit later when our timeline got pushed out a bit and was very understanding. She did such a great job and there are simply not enough words to express how grateful i am for everything that she has done for us, for all of the memories she helped us creating. She sent us sneak peek pictures less than a week after the wedding and we have received all of our photos in less than a month after the wedding. I'm so happy that we have found her, she is just simply amazing! We will definitely reach out to her in the future for our family photo shoots. :) Thank you so very much Nicole!!!

great with everyone! Nicole was very flexible with our schedule that day and was able to capture photos of us with our fur baby Apollo. We would definitely recommend Nicole to everyone looking to get any type of photos taken.

be biased but many people have told me that our wedding photos are some of the best they've ever seen. It's all thanks to Nicole! And we loved the pictures so much that we had her capture our son's newborn photos a year later and they're just adorable. Couldn't be happier. She's very professional, has an eye for detail, and I love the way she makes her photos so vividly colorful. Thanks for your talent Nicole!

y expertly arranged my husband and I, our wedding party, and our families for photographs, and they captured beautiful spontaneous moments. We chose Nicole because we loved both her amazing use of color and her stunning black and white photographs. We were not disappointed! We have incredible photographs to remember our wedding day, and we know who to call when we are ready for our first family photo shoot!

and asked me great questions leading up to the wedding that showed me she cared about making my wedding day as great as possible. The day of the wedding we had unprecedented rain before pictures which meant we couldn't use the outdoor grassy area we had originally thought of for pictures. That was no problem for Nicole and her second shooter, they both had a great eye for seeing other areas around town that would still give me beautiful wedding photos. Nicole was always calm, confident, and good at giving direction which is everything you need from a photographer on your wedding day. Our pictures were amazing! We truly got everything we wanted and more with Impulse Imagery!

ng with her was a breeze, she was prompt in answering all our questions and providing feedback! Our wedding was held at a very large venue outdoors where it was hot and rained. Nicole and her assistant were not afraid to get wet or walk miles. They worked efficiently in the heat and tirelessly for 12+ hours. Nicole has a great and unique eye for photography and posing her clients. Her ability to capture the beauty of the outdoors and the client is fabulous! Nicole captured all the moments/events of the day! Nicole and her staff are professional, thorough, detail orientated and personable! We will use Nicole in the future and highly recommend her for anyone looking for amazing, superb quality, and timeless photos. THANK YOU NICOLE!" - Lisa & Mitchell

special day and Nicole did just that. She is such a delight, professional and very creative with her photographs. We would recommend Impulse Imagery in a heartbeat to anyone."

uets were not to anyone's liking and they rearranged the flowers for me! My husband and I plan to use her again for family pictures!

edding photography. We went on a walk through at the venue to plan out spot for pictures and create a timeline. This really helped to settle some anxieties about the wedding day. The day of the wedding, Nicole and her assistant went above and beyond to make us feel special and did any extra shots we asked for. Most importantly, our pictures are AMAZING! Planning a wedding requires many decisions but choosing Impulse Imagery and Nicole is the best and easiest decision you can make.

ght to us so we can look back on this day the rest of our lives! Your kindness and patience definitely showed on our wedding day! We will never forget you and your assistant in the future and will definitely be booking you in the future! We wish you the very best! Thank you for everything!
