My husband and I were married at the Vineyard at 37 High Holly at the end of August 2019, and we could not have done it without I Do Events. We were living several states away fro...
m the venue and were only able to come down a couple times in advance to plan for our wedding, so their help was key to making the day of our dreams. In addition, my husband was the main planner as I was unable to join several of the coordinating sessions – and while I know the groom is not the person who typically plans the wedding – Elizabeth and Jennifer warmly welcomed him into the planning and guided us through the process. Together, they made our day absolutely perfect.
We hired I Do Events (Elizabeth/Jennifer) to do our day-of coordination for the wedding. This meant that we were responsible for booking all vendors and doing most of the up front coordination. Despite this, Elizabeth worked with us throughout everything. As we were coordinating the wedding from a distance, we had calls about once a month to ensure that we were on track in terms of hiring vendors, and she was instrumental in providing advice and recommending vendors and ideas that would fit within our budget. Elizabeth was supportive and encouraging and ran our coordination calls with the efficiency of a professional. She always quickly followed-up after our calls to help us get in touch with vendors.
Before the wedding, we transitioned to working primarily with Jennifer Regner who did the actual day-of coordination. Jennifer was such a true delight to work with. We talked with her several times in the two weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure that we had all our planning done so that we didn’t have to worry at all on the day itself. She met us at the rehearsal, listened as we explained how we wanted everything set up, and efficiently walked everyone through ceremony (you would think it would be easy, but there were so many small questions that popped up).
During the day of the wedding, Elizabeth checked in on us in the morning to make sure that we were doing well, and Jennifer handled everything with grace. Jennifer calmly worked to keep everyone on schedule and when timing shifts arose due to vendors or other external factors, she was fantastic in adjusting timing and communicating with us and the rest of our guests. She made sure that everything was set-up appropriately, picked up the sandwiches that our wedding party had ordered for lunch, ensured that people knew where to be and when, that we had big plates of food and our requested glasses of champagne, and so much more ... everything that we had asked for! She was always in the background making sure everything was running as it should and could always be seen with a smile and ready to help with anything.
At we reflect on our wedding half a year later – all I can think about is that it was a day of love and celebration that we had envisioned. But that kind of day can only happen when there is someone in the background facilitating and guiding, so we were free to focus on our love for each other and our special day. For us – it was Elizabeth Fletcher and Jennifer Regner of I Do Events that made everything come together. We highly recommend them for your wedding.
My then fiance, husband, and mother met Elizabeth Fletcher on the day we toured The Vineyard at 37 High Holly. Originally, we had assumed we would plan the wedding weekend on our o...
wn but immediately had a change of heart upon meeting Elizabeth. She shows genuine interest in your story, what you want your weekend and the wedding day to look like, and how to help you get there. Throughout our time working with her prior to working with Jennifer Regner (also an incredible event coordinator) we felt reassured that everything would come together. Elizabeth assisted in communicating with additional vendors such as the caterer and got us connected with a florist in the area that we were so happy with. Whenever I had questions, Elizabeth always responded and was happy to take my call. Due to a conflicting event, Elizabeth requested that Jennifer take over our wedding about two months out. I then met with Jennifer at our venue and again, instantly felt confident in her ability to make everything flow smoothly, with the least amount of hiccups, all while supporting our family. She had such a calm presence that I truly needed throughout the month leading up to our wedding weekend that is so special. Jennifer made sure we had 3 conference calls with my mom, fiance, and her so that the timeline was exactly as we wanted it to be. She provided feedback when necessary and was receptive to my suggestions. She constantly reminded me that I would be able to relax and enjoy the day and allow her and the crew to take care of everything. If you want someone who can give direct feedback, help you make major decisions, and provide you with a sense of ease and excitement, Jennifer is the perfect fit! She's flexible and gets her job done all while blending in. I am so appreciative of the overall experience with I Do Events and can't imagine what wedding planning could've been like without them.
Elizabeth Fletcher with I Do Events Atlanta was a blessing! It’s been a year and half since my son and daughter-in-law married at The Vineyard at 37 High Holly in Highlands, NC. ...
This was a destination wedding and we could not have chosen a more perfect day of coordinator. She was in constant contact with the bride with phone meetings and was always available whenever there was a question. Elizabeth went above and beyond to help in any way suggesting vendors and offering advice which made planning the wedding such an enjoyable experience for all of us. When the day arrived, she was in complete control ensuring every detail happened as planned and just what the bride wanted. The wedding was perfect and because of Elizabeth’s expertise, everyone had an excellent time including the bride and groom! Thanks to Elizabeth, my daughter-in-law had the wedding of her dreams!

ls to be executed. We do not know how we would have survived coordinating and pulling off such a beautiful and memorable wedding without hiring Elizabeth Fletcher of I Do Events, Atlanta. Because of her expertise, our daughter's wedding will leave wonderful memories of a lifetime.
Elizabeth helped us handpick our venue and vendors as she was an invaluable resource. She is organized, quick to answer calls, texts, emails and extremely professional. She coached us through a variety of situations and came up with a perfect timeline for the rehearsal and wedding, thus making our special day one that we could relax and enjoy without concern.
We found that working with Elizabeth, she is an expert and provides perfection making her execution flawless.

P.S. Please do not let the name of Elizabeth's company make you feel limited as our wedding was held in Highlands, North Carolina!
I Do Events made our daughters special day everything she dreamed of! From months of planning to last minute changes, Elizabeth Fletcher handles it all. She is very professional ...

We had the help of I Do Events/Elizabeth Fletcher for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. Elizabeth was a valuable asset to us as she helped with budgets, videographer, floral ...
designer, caterer, party rentals, and disc jockey. She was extremely organized, always available for questions, and gave us comfort that we would have a beautiful ceremony and we did. You will not go wrong in choosing this company for your big event.

We hired Elizabeth from I Do Events to be the day of coordinator for my wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands North Carolina. I have to laugh at the term “day of coor...
dinator”, Elizabeth was far more than that. We weren’t super familiar with the area and it’s vendors and Elizabeth helped to line everything up for us. Which florist should we use? Elizabeth helped. Which bakery do you suggest? Elizabeth helped. Where should I have my bridesmaid luncheon? Elizabeth again. For someone who was hired for “day of” she blew it out of the water. Her suggestions, advice, communication, and details were all on par. I can’t even imagine the stress of being one planner vs 275 guests, to get everyone in one place in an orderly fashion, communicate with the band, the late night Chick-fil-A, passing out props, making sure the bride and groom stay happy, clothing changes, sparkler hand outs, floral transfers, MOB car loading etc., it is a lot! We were super pleased and happy with everything Elizabeth did for us- she made our wedding feel super special and stress free! Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth and I do Events enough for your future wedding planning!
Elizabeth is the best! My husband and I had a very complicated wedding idea- to have our wedding in a remote field outside Cashiers, NC. It is a special space for us. But, there wa...
s no plumbing, no electricity, and you had to drive through a creek to get there. I Do Events made it happen!
Elizabeth had wonderful ideas that made the reception so special and beautiful. She helped us with getting generators, tents, seating, a bartender, a DJ, transportation for guests and restrooms. She made sure the vendors did a test drive out to the site prior to the wedding. She saved us more money than her fee by negotiating with vendors. She anticipated some major issues and we were prepared for the downpour of rain on the day of.
She kept everything on time, the groomsmen in line, the bride calm and Elizabeth even kept her cool when a black bear (I kid you not) showed up halfway through the reception. My friends still refer to our wedding as "the perfect wedding."

t say enough good things about I Do Events. They made terrific vendor recommendations and handled last minute snafus with grace, professionalism and humor. Everything worked out extremely well and we were and are most pleased. Thank you I Do Events!!!
As the wedding director at First Presbyterian Church of Highlands, I have had the opportunity to work with many brides and their planners. Elizabeth Fletcher with I Do Events is pr...
ofessional, responsive, creative, and extremely detail oriented. I have seen her guide brides through the planning process flawlessly. In addition to being great at her job, Elizabeth is simply an absolute sweetheart-- an all around down to earth, kind, and fun person! A wedding planner is completely and totally necessary to keep your sanity... to keep you organized... to maintain some sense of "control"... to pull off the optimal destination wedding. Elizabeth is amazingly professional and polite and just a joy to work with. My favorite thing about her is how honest she is. Overall, working with Elizabeth is a great experience from start to finish and I highly recommend her!
Elizabeth was so wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond in so many ways! When we were forced to relocate our wedding due to a fire, she was able to help us find a new ve...
nue (that we loved) and coordinate all new vendors with just a couple months to spare. It was amazing how effortless she made this all seem, which certainly helped manage my anxiety. She also helped us manage some difficult family dynamics with complete professionalism and compassion. With her support we were truly able to celebrate our love and enjoy the company of friends and family with ease. I definitely recommend Elizabeth for your wedding planning needs!
It has been five years since Elizabeth Fletcher was the planner for my daughter's wedding. Even now I remember the sense of beauty and euphoria that accompanied this wedding. It...
was so beautifully choreographed by Elizabeth (the setting at The Farm in Highlands, the food, the transportation, the music, the flowers). My daughter, who is a perfectionist, said this was the happiest, most care-free day of her life, and there was a joy in this occasion that emanated from Elizabeth's not missing a detail. You will be blessed if you have a chance to work with her.
My wedding was the most wonderful day of my life. The attention to detail, specific guidance and friendship of Elizabeth Fletcher was a primary factor in making this such a wonder...
ful day.
Sometimes in life you meet someone for the first time but you feel like you have known them forever.
This was my experience with Elizabeth. She was always there for me and my mom and always seemed like she had an endless amount of time and patience to devote to us. She even kept the guys in line and focused on the task, something that is sometimes very hard to do!
The specific, written timeline that included each event leading up to the actual wedding (provided to each vendor as well as the wedding party), was a godsend.
A truly remarkable thing about Elizabeth is that she never left the impression that this was just another event or task for this person. The fact that she has continued to keep in touch well after my wedding only reinforces this impression.
My final advice – hire her!
Perfect wedding, perfect planner!!
Elizabeth was the reason my daughter’s wedding was perfect! From the moment we first spoke on the phone I knew I was in good hands. She made the...
whole experience a delight.
Ours was a destination wedding which appears to be much more difficult to plan but Elizabeth’s background and wealth of experience in planning this type of wedding made this a much easier task.
It was comforting to know that Elizabeth was so accessible and was very timely in response to every one of my many questions throughout the planning process. She worked very closely with the venue we chose which was so important to us as we live 150 miles from the venue.
As the wedding date approached, my contact with her was almost daily. She provided me and the vendors a very detailed timeline of everything from the date and time we were to arrive in the area to the date and time we were to remove any personal belongings from the venue after the wedding. My daughter named her timeline the “roadmap to my perfect day”.
In addition, Elizabeth has remained a valued friend and contact beyond her contractual obligation to us.
Elizabeth knows what she is doing. Many times, as the mother of the bride, I was completely lost in the
process. My best advice is to listen to her, ask your many questions, follow her direction and let her do the job she so perfectly knows how to do.
Thank you, Elizabeth, for making all my daughter’s wedding dreams come true!
I have worked with Elizabeth on many weddings. Being an event planner, I find myself learning new things from her every event. The ability she has to personalize each couples spec...
ial day is amazing. The organization she brings to the table is priceless. The most important thing for a bride is to know that someone has their best interest in mind so she can be worry free and enjoy the day. You certainly get that with Elizabeth. You cannot go wrong when booking with Elizabeth and the I Do Events team!
Elizabeth is absolutely amazing. I've worked with her several times and every wedding has been absolutely flawless. She treats the bride/groom and family with nothing but respect...
and at the same time makes sure everyone knows what's coming up next and sticks to the timeline. You can rest assured that your wedding day will be well taken care of in Elizabeth's hands. Simply Wonderful!

ry time I had a question about which vendor to use she knew the perfect person. Every vendor she recommended (florist, band, hair and make up, babysitter for the kids, literally anything you can think of) turned out great and really made our wedding special.
RUN from Elizabeth Fletcher like your pants are on fire! If you want your wedding guests to feel unwelcome and have a bad time at your wedding, hire Elizabeth – one of the rudest ...
people I have encountered in a long time. I watched her “greet” guest after guest with dismissive, arrogant scowls – and then overheard lots of “who was that awful, rude woman?” After the wedding, I asked the dismayed MOG why, after everyone was seated and waiting, the ceremony had started 20 minutes late; she said it was because of Elizabeth.
Your wedding day should be the best day of your life, Elizabeth Fletcher will make your day nothing about you and your future spouse. I could list the things she did at a wedding w...
e attended but the list would not end of the negatives. When someone puts a bride and group through something like this , it's something they never forget. I hope that each and every bride does not have to endure what the carelessness she shows for everyone around her. Her clients will dwindle with time because of the way she treats guests, family, and vendors.
Worst wedding planner EVER! Having been a wedding planner for 9 years I would never dream of treating my brides, grooms, or anyone the way Elizabeth Fletcher treated the bride, gr...
oom, their families and guests at a wedding I attended recently. From the first meeting she was very rude and that attitude continued until wedding day. Girls dream of their wedding day all their lives and with a good wedding planner their dreams can become reality. Not with this lady! Not only was she rude, she didn't listen to the couples wishes, she wore inappropriate clothing for a wedding director, didn't straighten the brides train until she was half way down the aisle. Not to mention her taking all the leftover food for herself, carrying it out to her car in front of all the wedding guests. She also served the top layer of the cake against the couples wishes. Wedding planners should ensure things run smoothly, not create extra stress and drama for the couple on their wedding day. The owner of the venue was very nice and the venue itself was beautiful! If only they would fire Elizabeth Fletcher and hire a different FRIENDLY wedding planner!
Do NOT use Elizabeth Fletcher for any reason. She was rude and insulting to the bride, the bride's family, the groom's family and many wedding guests. She was dressed inappropr...
iately for a wedding. She ignored instructions for the wedding and did what she wanted. She took food from the buffet in front of guests to take home with her. She took wedding cake before all the guests had been served. The list could go on and on but you get the idea.
Elizabeth is THE BEST wedding planner EVER! My husband and I used her for our wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards in Highlands, NC. I highly recommend using her for your wedding, es...
pecially if it's destination. She went above and beyond with every detail, yet stayed within our budget. We will use her for many events to come in the future!
