Hunt & Harvest

en we got married in Ancram, NY on August 23, 2025.  All of the food was outstanding—we had a hard time narrowing down our favorites at the tasting! But more importantly, the food stood up on the wedding day and tasted exactly the same as when we fell in love with our menu items at our tasting. The corn & burrata ravioli was spectacular, and everyone couldn’t stop raving about the short rib with the Hillrock sauce (my husband’s family’s whiskey company). The charcuterie grazing board was stunning, and our guests couldn’t shut up about it!  I look forward to partnering with H&H for many celebrations in the future!

above and beyond, he truly felt like family. We couldn’t recommend them more!

rd our thoughts, were very adaptable and the food and drink was in a league of its own. We absolutely recommend them! People say it’s best food they ever had at a wedding!

. One of my friends said, and I quote, “I was sad eating the blood orange salad because I knew I’d never get to eat it again.” From creating a special borscht and pierogi passed hor d'oeuvre to honor my now husbands polish heritage, to creating the most delicious, seasonal menus it truly was so special. In particular, we had one guest with severe allergies who said this was the first wedding she had ever been able to eat at (including her daughters last month) and that her meal was fantastic. She was so over the moon. We couldn't have had a better experience with Hunt & Harvest and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

n’t tell you how many people came out to us and said that they don’t usually even eat food at weddings, but they ate everything on their plate. They were kind and responsive. There were a few mixups with tables assignments that were totally our fault, but they took it in stride and made us feel confident that it was not a big deal and it would be taken care of professionally. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and renew. The wedding would be perfect if they were running it . can’t recommend them highly enough. Also, Brandon’s restaurant, The Woodland, is amazing! I wish I had taken pictures, but I ate the food so fast even as the mother of the bride. Thank you for everything you did.

s in the NY Times, and Hunt and Harvest deserve all of the press love in the world, truly, because of how beautiful their food is, the way they care, the way they make your day feel like it's their top priority... could NOT recommend them more if I tried!!! With so much love and gratitude. - Liv Schreiber + Kyle Shaub

food and beverage and service all weekend long, and said it was the BEST they have ever seen at any wedding. Not one detail was missed. I cannot recommend this team enough!!!

t was the best wedding food they’d ever had! Everything came out perfectly. Can't recommend H&H enough!

time and received great reviews. Brandon and Cindie were very receptive to our requests during the wedding planning process and were able to curate an exquisite selection of appetizers / entrees during the food tasting. We couldn't have been happier to work with the H&H team. Many chefs are thought to be stubborn and brash - Brandon is neither of these. He was accommodating and thoughtful throughout the months leading up to the wedding. We highly suggest H&H for an event of any size, but especially for larger weddings (175+ people) as their staff was excellent at handling large groups of people at the bars and during the serving of the meals.

ghtful from day 1, working with us on tailored menu inspirations and inventive options for our guests. They provide their couples with an array of options after discussing palette and dining preferences, and our tasting experience was exceptional and left us so excited for our wedding weekend. We took the option for family style dining at our outdoor rehearsal dinner in late summer, which was so fun for everyone, and the food at the cocktail hour and reception received deservedly high praise from all of our guests. Bottom line - H&H is far from “standard” wedding food, and provided an incredibly unique, delicious, and memorable dining experience!

th H&H was wonderful from start to finish. The first phone call with the chef helped us formulate our vision for the day, we were encouraged to make choices that reflected us as a couple and we felt like we ended up with a perfect menu from cocktail hour to dessert. All of our guests loved the food and commented on how friendly everyone was, from refilling waters and wine glasses to personally checking on us through the night to make sure we had food and drinks. They were very professional and friendly through the whole process and responded quickly when we had any questions and were working out our rental needs. And the tasting was so fun! Erica worked really well with our venue too, which is crucial to having a successful wedding day. We really centered our wedding around the dinner experience and are so glad we chose H&H.

nized, listened to what we wanted, and pretty much made everything we wanted come true. They worked great with our wedding planner and most importantly – the food and service was fantastic!

as not only restaurant quality but the presentation was creative and beautiful. My guests were blown away by incredible food was and said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The staff was extremely attentive and supportive to all our dietary needs. I cant say enough about Hunt and Harvest and highly recommend them.

ked with us to craft a menu that reflected our pescatarian preferences and included everyone in all the deliciousness, which was important to us. Our guests are still talking about the food, so many months later. And, we received glowing comments from those with dietary allergies/restrictions, who loved that they were able to partake in the majority of food offerings at a big event and not feel like an outsider in that regard. We'd happily throw another wedding just so we could hire them again. Brandon and his team are true superstars.

e real deal. They were so prepared and on top of every detail, Hunt and Harvest really helped lead the charge in bringing all of the vendors together in harmony. When it came to the food, we always knew it would be a unique dining experience with the family style decision, but our guests could not stop talking about the amazing culinary experience they had. It was so creative, beautiful and different. The staff were wonderful and pleasant to work with (I didn't see it, but someone said the pre-show was like the "Be our Guest" scene from Beauty in the Beast). Brandon was so calm, cool and collected and beyond professional - you wouldn't even know that the water and the power had gone off a few times before the 250 guests arrived. Brandon literally helped the groom get a stain off the back of his jacket, what other caterer does that?! 10/10 would recommend Hunt and Harvest if you're looking for a next-level celebration.

I can't say enough for how smoothly the day went. Brandon was calm and patient and his staff was efficient. Everyone raved about the food and the venue. If you want a wedding in the Berkshires, this is the place to have it!

d an incredible attention to detail and each dish was thoughtfully prepared. Their dishes are fresh and unique, and the food overall was fantastic. It was a wonderful experience overall working with them and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

you could hope for. From the start, he made our menu a reflection of us and we could not have loved it more. Brandon and my husband have roots in Louisiana and he was brilliant in how he incorporated that into the menu. He was one of the few people we saw first when we processed and his delivery of delicious cocktails and a sampler of the passed hors devours was just what we needed. I keep telling my husband that I wish I could have our wedding dinner every night and he agrees. Cannot recommend Hunt and Harvest enough!!

ed as good as it looked! The harvest table during cocktail hour was a work of art- it was so fresh and yummy- everyone was raving about it! The canapés we chose were all very different and each and every bite that came out was exquisite. I was so impressed with how good everything was being made in such high quantities but H&H quality was just amazing. The main courses and the dessert did not disappoint either and we were so grateful for the pour over coffee and brunch on Sunday! Thank you for an incredible weekend! Anyone looking for a caterer for an event - you should definitely book Hunt & Harvest!! You won’t regret it!

nner, passed desserts and brunch the next day - everything was both delicious and beautiful. Brandon was also beyond helpful with any questions and planning leading up to our weekend. We would recommend him to anyone, he made our weekend so special.

statement. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was fantastic. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our event, from the passed hors d'oeuvres and stunning harvest table, through the entrees and on to desserts and late night bites. Highly recommend for your event!

to the day to custom craft a menu that spoke to what we love to eat and the season. Everyone raved about the food. The passed apps, the raw bar, the dinner options, the desserts, the late night snacks and then brunch the next day! We were so impressed and cannot recommend Brandon and the Hunt & Harvest team enough!

don from H&H was responsive, collaborative, willing to listen to our every whim, and above all, a true culinary genius. My husband is vegan, and we wanted to make sure he had copious options to eat at his own wedding. Brandon didn't miss a beat, and was able to make the most fantastic menu of vegan and non-vegan dishes that everyone could enjoy. It never felt like we were calling out the differences in the food - the side dishes just happened to be vegan and no one had to feel like they were an outsider in any way! It's a small thing like that, that makes everyone feel included and welcomed at a wedding. Multiple people came up and told us afterward that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding - and one guest even said the smoked chicken was the "best chicken he had ever had in his life." Needless to say, H&H's work is absolutel restaurant-quality. H&H did our Friday night rehearsal dinner and welcome party as well, kicking off the weekend with a beautiful, alfresco, Tuscan-inspired dinner and cocktail party, which was also a huge hit. Make sure you get the nutella bomboloni on your menu! H&H also staffs the best servers in the business. Each and every server, bartender, and staffmember was so friendly, cool, and helpful at every turn. We could not be happier that booking Lion Rock Farm led us to Brandon and Hunt & Harvest - truly couldn't have dreamt up a better catering company for our wedding.

y. But perhaps the best decision of the day was hiring Hunt and Harvest. The food, the service, the selections, their incredible professionalism, all enhanced the magic of the day. Brandon and the team at Hunt and Harvest are the only choice for a special event!

g this review because I've struggled to find the right words to define the experience. Brandon had us from the tasting. Beautifully composed dishes, as exciting to the palette as to the eye, were presented to us in a relaxed and welcoming setting. We were able to discuss and savor every item, sharing our thoughts with him about every aspect of the menu. The wedding was a great success - the food was beyond delicious. Brandon works his magic with seasonal, farm fresh produce and meats and makes every bite special. I have family and friends still reaching out to me to say they had never had such a fabulous meal at a wedding. We were, as many others, a family caught in the middle of the COVID epidemic. The wedding had to be moved to a later date and Brandon helped with this transition to make it seamless and, more to the point, stress-free. The day of the wedding the service was spot on and no one lacked for anything. From the specialty cocktails to the inventive nutella-stuffed bomboloni as favors, Brandon knocked it out of the park. Thank you Hunt & Harvest for making my daughter & son-in-law's wedding day so wonderful!

nner... I turned to the table and said this is the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and then realized there was no need for a qualifier. Brandon serves the best food I've ever had, period. When it came to my wedding, he was the first vendor I booked. We separated the dancing from the dinner so guests could savor Brandon's exquisite farm-to-table cooking, and the tablescapes were created to complement the bold colors and elegant, elevated aesthetic of his food. Brandon's catering is an event in itself, but it doesn't stop there. Brandon is an expert wedding professional, especially if you're getting married at a private residence, with all of the challenges that go with it... His recommendations were flawless, and he went above and beyond to guide us throughout the planning process. Follow all of his advice, is my advice :)

and puts thought and care into every dish he serves. With Hunt & Harvest, you can expect delicious and beautiful works of art.

h an exceptional experience. Guests have not stopped complimenting the food, service and execution of our event. Each compliment starts with one dish that was served and continues on through the full list from hor d'oeuvres to dessert. Unlike any other wedding experience our guests have had because of the level of skill and artistry. One of my favorite memories from our wedding is a moment at the bar mid-way through dinner service, smiling so big and high fiving Brandon because he knocked it out of the park.

beyond expectations! Our guests raved about every single meal (we did rehearsal dinner, welcome desserts, wedding, and brunch through them). Highly recommend!!!!!

us to curate our DREAM menu - an asian-inspired theme using the freshest hudson valley ingredients for friday night (they had never done this before - but worked with us to creatively come up with a menu) + traditional farm to table on our wedding night. Their beautiful charcuterie board alone is worth hiring them for!! Our friends & family proactively said it was the best wedding food they have had - like a Michelin farm to table restaurant!

was great working with/collaborating with Brandon throughout the process. Definitely recommend!

ssed they were with everything (especially the stone fruit and burrata with bee pollen!) In addition, Brandon couldn't have been more of a pleasure to work with – he was helpful, friendly, organized, and went above and beyond. We can't recommend Hunt & Harvest more!

meca, was one of the big reasons why. He and his team are the epitome of professionalism and class. But let me tell you about the food. When we had our tasting, it was our plan to have a first course and entree. But then he brought out the Mushroom Risotto. It was so good that we had to add a course, and Brandon was totally on board. He is a pleasure to work with, and provides an immensely stacked array of options for the reception, as well as hors d'oeuvres. My wife is a vegetarian, and we were able to create a perfect mix of vegetarian options along with plenty of food for our carnivorous guests. Everything was served in a timely fashion, and the cocktail hour harvest station along with the passed canapés table and dessert bites left nobody nobody hungry at the end of the night! If you’re looking to have the PERFECT wedding, look no further. Hunt and Harvest is above and beyond anything you could imagine.

locally sourced, fresh foods and ingredients that align with the seasons and come together in a truly special way. The food was unbelievable and the presentation was equally as impressive and elaborate - from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the dessert and everything in between. Brandon and his team were flexible and considerate as our wedding date bounced around the calendar due to COVID and our guest list had multiple iterations and even last minute cancelations. He was truly a pleasure to work with in every capacity and we would recommend Hunt & Harvest to anyone!

sourced, and it makes your mouth water just reading it! While not cheap, the food will blow your guests away. I had a family member who kept saying, “don’t spend money on the food! No one will remember it!” Well, they ate their words, literally, and the next day sheepishly admitted they were wrong in this case. Everyone remembered the food - particularly Brandon’s delicious short ribs. I should also note that my wedding was this fall in the middle of the pandemic (we couldn’t postpone because of a family health concern) - Brandon was completely on top of all the local Covid guidelines and worked with us to figure out how to safely serve food and drinks to a crowd that was fairly anxious about Covid! I feel so lucky to have had him as my caterer.

in the storm with the patience of a saint. He helped guide us with menu selections so effortlessly, creating gorgeous magazine-worthy tables to match the stunning backdrop of the farm & the early autumn change of season. Everything was exquisite- with all of our guests raving! We will be recommending him to friends and family from the Litchfield hills to the Hamptons and we certainly look forward to working with him again!

protocols, such as replacing the buffet with individual servings and giving each guest bottled water, small things that made a noticeable difference. Their food quality, taste, and presentation is superb; nothing tops it at any price point. Despite a tough year for all involved they made our wedding special and for a 48-hour period things felt normal again. The team at Hunt & Harvest is incredibly hard working and truly loves their craft, which is serving others and making big days special. We wish them all continued success and brighter days ahead!

randon and Hunt and Harvest even before our first tasting - on our first phone call with him, we knew he was super creative and collaborative. Food is super important to us, and we wanted our wedding to be no different. He took all of our favorite foods, worked with what would be in season, took one of our favorite salads in The City and created the most amazing menu. Our tasting was an incredible experience and the food was absolutely phenomenal, not just when he cooked for the two of us but even for all 168 of our guests with only a cooking tent at his disposal. Brandon is a true artist and he truly cares about the food he prepares and you can tell. We have been to our fair share of weddings and it’s safe to say that the catering is not really ever the highlight, until our own. From the passed apps and bounty table to the family-style meal, everything was absolutely beyond delicious and not at all what you think of when you think of “wedding food”. So do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and hire Brandon and Hunt and Harvest IMMEDIATELY.

fact everyone is still talking about it. Everything was fresh, unique, creative, great quality and delicious. His staff was polite and lovely. We trusted him from the moment we met him. Thank you, Brandon!

on did not just cater our wedding with his team at Hunt & Harvest, but he was also there every step of the way to ensure that we had the right team surrounding us to help us plan our wedding. Brandon and Hunt & Harvest worked to ensure we had our perfect menu at our wedding and accommodated every request that we had. From our taco station to the harvest table, to the passed hors d'oeuvres, to the peaches and burrata appetizer, to the braised short rib and branzino entrees, to the after-party grilled cheese bites and mini sliders, there was no shortage of delicious and award-worthy food. We got so many compliments from our wedding guests on the food, most saying it was the best that they ever had, wedding or otherwise. I made sure that I tried everything, because I knew I didn't want to miss out! Our wedding day was more than we could have ever asked for and we feel lucky and grateful to have had Brandon and Hunt & Harvest as our team.

ion. From the planning stage through execution, Brandon and his team excelled. Brandon has an amazing ability to take your vision and elevate it with his creativity and expertise. His food is delicious, his presentation is beautiful and his service is impeccable. And somehow Brandon was omnipresent at each event ensuring that not only everything food and service related were perfect but that the bridal party was personally catered to. His personal touch was astounding. Luckily for us, Brandon provided more than catering. He takes the time to understand his client and helps match you with a planner (if needed) and was super helpful in choosing locations and set up for each event as well. And finally, Brandon is an absolute delight to work with. His patience, calm demeanor, energy, attention to detail and responsiveness are remarkable. We could not have had a better experience.

ter's wonderful wedding. They wanted a creative, healthy mix of flavors and textures. As all good chef's will tell you, it starts with quality ingredients. This is where Hunt-Harvest shines; They don't skimp on anything. The highlight of the Cocktail Hour was an amazing Harvest Table. Our guests were amazed by the variety of food choices and their quality. He also expertly executed a Taco and a Raw Bar. And then came the plated dinners, which were served hot to 250 guests. This was all done at a Hudson River farm where a temporary kitchen was constructed. Brandon excels at this! If you're looking for delicious and innovative dishes to wow your guests, definitely talk to Brandon. He's flexible and accommodating. Good luck to you!

essional and SKILLED in the kitchen. So many options to choose from, so each wedding is unique. The apps....oh my! so, so good and the mini milk shakes were a hit with all ages. Brandon really made the entire process very easy, and very beautiful. Would absolutely use Hunt & Harvest again!

the food. Hunt + Harvest catered our wedding and it was by far the best decision we made. We knew we wanted something special, unique, and memorable. That's exactly what Brandon gave us. Brandon was the most incredible person to work with. He was always available to help us, share his advice, knowledge, and give us input- which we so very much appreciated! This really alleviated many of the stressors that accompany wedding planning. He helped us create a beautiful and delicious family style menu of all local farm fresh ingredients that highlighted the season and area perfectly. Fresh, local ingredients.. this was key for us! The food at our wedding wasn't going to be boring or predicable. Everything that he promised, he delivered beyond our expectations! Our initial tasting was so impressive. Compressed watermelon?! Yes! Once we sampled what was going to be on our menu, we could not wait for our wedding day and for our guests to enjoy it as well. Besides being absolutely delicious, everything Brandon and his team created was SO aesthetically pleasing. I love a good food photo!! The food was one of the most complimented aspects of our wedding. Every single person commented how incredible the food was, saying it was the best they've ever had at a catered event. Four months later, our guests are still raving about it! Even the coffee!! From our gorgeous harvest table (my personal favorite, no two are the same!), to our carefully selected passed hors d'oeuvres, thoughtfully curated family style menu (highly recommend family style!), desserts, coffee; it was all perfection. Brandon is so creative and talented and it was both fun and inspiring working so closely with him throughout the catering and wedding planning process. This was truly a unique and memorable experience for us. We would recommend Hunt + Harvest a million times over. We have been to many other weddings (where the food often feels generic) and interviewed several other caterers for our wedding; no one compares to the passion, quality, flavor, attention to detail, creativity, presentation, service and uniqueness that Hunt + Harvest gives you. If you're looking for an invaluable asset to your team of vendors on your wedding day, this is it! You will wow your guests. Thank you Brandon and team for making our day magic and for taking such good care of us. We are beyond grateful. We will find a reason to work with you again!! We are still hoping that one day you offer cooking classes, we'll be first in line!!
