I had my bridal shower here after taking a few classes. The day-of staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had plenty of leftovers to take home as well!
I am leaving ...
three stars for a few reasons:
You can only communicate with them to plan events over email. This was difficult for my mom and also made everything take longer because of the waiting back and forth for an answer to each question. We requested talking on the phone and were told no.
At the event we talked to the chef. He thanked us and also recognized my husband and I from a prior class where I got sick and had to leave, missing the class. He told us that we should come back for a free class after my shower and he’d be happy to do that! I reached out to our contact after the event to share this. I was told that “we do not give free classes.” I explained the situation and what the chef said. The woman told me no, but she’d ask why this occurred and get back to me. I never heard back from her. This was disappointing as the response was rude, and I was just relaying what a chef had told me he’d do. I believe this should have been honored given we spent a lot of money on the shower, have been loyal Hudson Table customers for years, and were promised this in person. If not, we should have at least been reached back out to, as we were told we would be, and given a kind explanation as to why this couldn’t be done. Honestly, it left a bad taste in our mouth given our otherwise wonderful experience with my shower and past classes.
Had my daughters Bridal shower there and arranged the entire event long distance. Lauren is so easy to work with and gets right back to you to with answers to any questions you hav...
e. Everyone raved about the food and the space. Thanks so much Hudson Table!!
We had our 22 person micro-wedding at Hudson Table in October and we can’t recommend it enough!!!! We were looking for an unconventional, food focused space and this was 100% it. A...
llen the owner was easy to work with and really responsive through email. Also, they were very accommodating when we had to look at the space several time. The food was INSANE!!!!! We had chef Kelly Zavala and she was a rockstar, our guests can’t stop talking about the food. Not only was the food delicious the quality was high, they aren’t cutting corners. The staff in general were really great and friendly. Overall, couldn’t recommend them enough!!
Hudson Table catered our wedding and we would 100% recommend them! The service was exceptional all around and our guests are still talking about the food. Prior to the wedding, the...
y took the time to discuss our vision with us and help us create it. They were excellent at keeping in touch and updating us each step of the way. On the day of the wedding, they had everything taken care of. Literally everything. We felt so at ease. The experience was very personalized from the asian themed appetizers to the ice cream and s'mores desserts by the campfire. Our wedding would not have been as special and unique if we didn't have the pleasure of working with Hudson Table. They made our wedding dreams come true!
Beautiful space, friendly staff, but the owner couldn't be more heartless and out of touch with the current climate. We reserved a beautiful room to host our wedding's rehearsal di...
nner in April. Due to the state guidelines, they can no longer accommodate the size of our party in that room. Because of this, we're forced to seek out an alternative venue. We requested the return of our deposit since they aren't able to fulfill our agreement, and instead we were offered either a gift card or a different space outdoors. The owner shared how much their business is hurting, and that I can understand. Lots of people are hurting right now and the idea that a business would put what seems to be a small sum of money to their bottom line above doing the right thing for a couple dealing with wedding costs during this tough time is sad.
I was hoping to never leave a bad review on here, but sometimes there are no other options. In no way am I suggesting not to patronize this establishment, just think twice before leaving a deposit for an event. Even if the terms change on their end, they offer no recourse.
When our larger wedding reception was postponed a year due to COVID, we began searching for a smaller wedding ceremony dinner in Hoboken and booked Hudson Table. Allen and his team...
were extremely accommodating from start to finish, and answered all emails very quickly. We had a beautiful set up outside in the little cobblestone street between HT and the viaduct with beautiful string lights and space heaters. Aside from the wonderful ambiance, the food was unbelievable! Our guests still talk about how amazing and delicious the food was to this day. We chose our own custom menu and picked each dish with the chef's guidance, it all came together perfectly! For us, it was also a huge plus from a cost perspective that it was BYOB, since we are now paying for 2 wedding receptions. The entire night ran smoothly thanks to the awesome staff. We are so glad that we decided to get married this year and have our ceremony dinner at HT! Thank you to the HT team for everything!
My husband (!!!) and I had an incredible experience at Hudson Table for our rehearsal dinner about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Allen was wonderful to work with from the start, extremely fast...
and accommodating. Every email was answered very fast! I was able to set up with my decorations before the start of the event which eased all my worrying. The food was unbelievable - our guests seriously still cannot stop talking about how good it was. It was so cool watching them make it and made our dinner so much more fun than a dinner in a restaurant. We were able to really make this an event too with a slideshow up and multiple toasts - the staff and food was just wonderful. We only wish we could go back for dinner!! Thank you so much - this place and Allen are awesome!!

My husband and I held our 6.03.16 rehearsal dinner at Hudson Table and honestly, we don’t even know how we can express how much we LOVED our experience with Allen and the crew!
We...
have always been interested in taking cooking classes at Hudson Table and hadn’t had the opportunity, but once we learned we could host an event we knew we just had to go for it! Before our event, Allen worked with us to ensure we had the perfect menu, the best set-up, and everything we needed to make our event go off without a hitch! On the day of, Allen opened the doors a little earlier for us so we can go in and decorate the space exactly how we wanted it before our guests were due to arrive - with his help, we were done in no time and able to get back and get ready with time to spare!
Our wedding day was certainly one to remember and enjoyed by all, but our bridal party cannot stop raving about how awesome our rehearsal dinner was at Hudson Table - so much so, my brother-in-law hosted my sister’s surprise 40th birthday party there to the same rave reviews!
From the second we arrived after our rehearsal, it smelled AMAZING, the music was on, our appetizers were ready for us, our beer and wine were chilled, and Chef Eton, Dan, and crew were beginning to create the most exceptional meal for our guests.
What we love most about the team is the overall homey vibe they express - yes, the staff was super busy, but Chef Eton didn’t miss a beat and took the time to speak with our party while he worked - even the littlest of guests!
Hudson Table comes highly recommended - awesome people, awesome concept, amazing interactive experience that we will never forget.
Thank you Allen and crew for everything - we can’t wait to come visit again soon!
