Michael is an amazing photographer. He captured our wedding so beautifully. When my husband and I were looking for a photographer, we wanted someone that knew how to work with lights, the elements presents within the frames and also had experience capturing a wide spectrum of skin hue. It was important to us as we’re an interracial couple. Our bridal parties, families and guests were all within that wide spectrum. Besides that, he is truly an expert. He made sure that all of the cultural elements of our wedding were captured. He paid attention to details for both genuine moments and instructed poses. You can literally feel the emotions when looking at the pictures. We also really appreciate his professionalism and level of care during the entire wedding day.

After graduating from The School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2003 I started assisting a wedding photographer and fell in love with the art form. The way you have to blend so many different photographic disciplines together: product photography, photojournalism, portrait photography, etc. is a challenge I relish and excel at meeting. Plus what's better than basking in the love of two people and celebrating that love with them every weekend?! Not a bad gig if you ask me! I've been to over 400 weddings and have shot over 300 and it never gets old, I still get misty eyed during the vows!

He defended the bride and groom and what they wanted as photos regardless of what was going on around us. The bridesmaids and groomsmen loved being around Michael too! He was there capturing moments from the time we were all getting ready, until we were departing in the limo. The turnaround for the preview was less than 48 hours which is absolutely incredible. There are so many pictures that perfectly capture the emotion and essence of the moment. That takes more than an expensive camera to capture. Michael knows what he is doing and he is so easy to work with. We have a 5 year old and it’s not always easy to keep any 5 year old on task with something like taking pictures for an extended period of time. Michael is so patient and great with kids. He obviously has a vision when he’s shooting, but he is always open to suggestions to enhance your experience. Whatever your vision is, he will accommodate it. If you don’t have anything specific in mind, he will take the lead and create exactly what you didn’t even know you wanted. If you’re looking for a photographer that will help you capture the special moments on your special day, Michael is your guy. We can’t say enough great things about him and his work. Out of all of our wedding vendors, Michael is hands down the best one we hired. We will be telling everybody we know about him and his talents. Hire him, you will not regret it!

My second favorite highlight was Michael staying past his hire time to capture photos for the Mariachi Band that my husband surprised me with for my birthday! That was a special moment.
