Rick was great as our DJ for our wedding. He engaged our guests, took requests, and kept the dance floor busy ALL night. He allowed and encouraged us to use his microphone and sing...
along, which was great. Then…he grabbed his guitar and sang a couple, including the last song of the night, which was a fun touch! He also did the music for our ceremony and played exactly what songs we wanted and how we wanted him to. We would highly recommend him for your wedding.
Rod was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, he was professional, easy to work with, and truly cared about making our day special. He kept the entire even...
ing running smoothly and did an incredible job reading the crowd and playing the perfect mix of music.
So many of my family members have booked Rod for our weddings simply because we love him so much. He made our special day absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

he music was perfectly curated and flowed seamlessly throughout the night, keeping the energy high and the dance floor going!
He created such a fun, lively atmosphere and was incredibly interactive with our guests in the best way. DJ Rod knew how to read the crowd, hype everyone up, and keep people dancing all night long.
Beyond his talent as a DJ, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He played a huge role in making our reception unforgettable, and we are so grateful for the energy and excitement he brought to our wedding. We couldn’t recommend DJ Rod more highly—if you want an amazing party and a packed dance floor, he is the one to book! If you are looking for a stylish DJ to match your event...this is your dude!!
Rod, Rod, Rod. I literally have had to sit and think about this review because I truly was at a loss of words after my wedding. This man is the most personable, tentative, and kind...
hearted person you will ever come across. From the moment I booked Hotbeats I knew my audio wedding needs were in good hands. He quickly responded to all my emails, all my questions, change ups, specific requests and whatever else I needed and made me feel SO confident in my big day. Day of: He was tentative to both my husband and I and made sure we always had what we needed (above and beyond what is expected of a DJ). We didn't plan to do a wedding party entrance but my party decided last minute that they wanted to do it and Rod delivered without skipping a beat (see what I did there). As far as music, he was tentative to my guests all while making my husband and I his top priority. He DELIEVERED when it came to music and had me literally dancing my night away. ALL THE VIBES. I cannot recommend Hotbeats enough. I am still in absolute awe of my big day and how smooth Rod made it. Both my parents and I were in tears talking to him at the end of the night because we just felt the love and knew having him there was so special. Truly a one of a kind business! 100/100 stars!

he best music all day long. There was not a single moment all night long that the dance floor was not completely full. I had so many family and friends come up to me at the wedding and tell me after the wedding that my DJ was amazing. He sure is and I would highly recommend!!!

s all the way from the ceremony to the end of the night. He helped out our day of Coordinator with timing, vendors and several other things. He shows up with exceptional energy and professionalism that is unmatched. I promise that if you hire any other DJ, it won't be as great as if you had hired Hot Beats. We cannot say enough good things but it was a huge stress relief as well as a party maker to have a DJ as great as him do our wedding!
Rod DJ'ed our wedding and we can not recommend him enough! From the very beginning he was so helpful, offering suggestions, recommendations, and was easy to get a hold of if I had ...
any questions. The DJ sheet template was easy to fill out. Everything was super organized and well thought out. During the reception he played great music and kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night. We had several guests mention to us, when talking about the wedding, how great music was and how fun it was! We owe a lot of that to Rod, he was also great MC, the flow of events went smoothly. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the DJ choice.

art to finish he was on it, checking in with us and our guests and making sure everything ran smoothly his music choices were always top notch, and he was interacting with the crowd all night. Our dance floor was always busy from start to finish. He knew how to weave in all different types of music so seamlessly. All of our guests raved about how great he was!! If you are looking for a wedding DJ, seriously look no further. If I could rate him a million out of 5 I would!

ay, I knew he was going to be amazing and we could not have been more pleased with his service and entertainment! Rod was so enthusiastic about ensuring the ceremony and reception would host the perfect atmosphere for their special day. Our son was a first time officiant as well and Rod took the time to ensure he was ready for the day. Rod was prompt, organized, and prepared with an amazing selection of music that kept the guests dancing all night long. He even got out on the dance floor and did the Pennsylvania Polka with my mother-in-law! So fun! He was also very accommodating to guests requests and made sure to incorporate any special moments requested. We received so many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had. I would highly recommend Rod to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and fun wedding DJ! Thank you!!

Other than his amazing DJ skills, the best part about Rod is his energy! (and his suits!) He really knows how to bring the fun and make anyone have a good time! Many of our guests have complimented our DJ choice too! I highly recommend!!

He kept things moving throughout the reception and even checked on me several times to see if there was anything I needed. I am so glad that we were able to have Rod be a part of our wedding and will absolutely recommend him to others in the future!

rink in our hand, he tailored his service to our wants. His skill set as a DJ are UNMATCHED! We have received SO many compliments on our music, from dinner to the dance floor, people were loving it. He even kept the party going longer than we had said since he had promised requests from guests! Seriously, hiring Rod was one of the BEST decisions we made on our big day you will not regret it.
Rod from HotBeats Entertainment is a "one-man-band" that I recommend as a DJ/emcee for all weddings and events to everyone in Michigan. You will be immensely glad and relieved to h...
ave Rod at your event. Rod has such a refreshing, energetic and uplifting personality and he truly loves the work he does (so much that he doesn't consider it to be work!). Rod was flexible, always available, fun and very prompt which was absolutely critical in planning a COVID wedding. Al the guests raved about Rod- the Mother of the Groom said he helped her walk on the uneven ground. She told him "you don't have to do this since it's not technically in your job description" and Rod replied "I know I don't have to but I want to." I cannot sing enough praise. He was the lifeblood to our wedding and kept things on track and played great tunes resulting in an unforgettable party! The world truly is a better place because of Rod.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to experience Rod as a DJ at my sister's wedding as well as had the supreme blessing of having him DJ my own wedding. He truly is wonderful at ...
what he does! He worked with me and my vision for the day, helping to mic in and balance live musicians for the ceremony and obliging my somewhat controlling requests for music during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He keeps the event moving forward, making sure everything is running in a timely fashion and is far more than just a DJ for your event. He is friendly and personable and willing to do anything you ask. Not to mention he is so, so fun - frequently joining guests out on the dance floor! Thank you so, so much Rod! We really appreciate all that you do!!

o really great that he stayed away from the typical, cheesy wedding songs. He really listens to what his clients want and goes out of his way to make sure they have a great night. Apart from his superb DJ skills, he also has some real on-point salsa moves that he demonstrated with one of my bridesmaids - probably one of my favorite moments of the night!
Rick and Rod are a great team. We have never planned anything this big and aren’t very familiar with all of the wedding traditions, dances, order of events. Rick was patient and he...
lpful and threw out ideas but also stressed how he wants us to be picky and he will do exactly what we want even as the night goes on and we want to change things up, he will make it happen. Very excited for our big night! Thanks for helping so much with the planning process and timeline. He was able to meet us up as often as needed and come to the rehearsal.

ts for the night! Rod went out of his way to make sure every single detail was perfect, and was so attentive to all needs for the night. We appreciated that he took requested and I think that made the guests more involved as well. It was an amazing night, and we keep getting comments on how much fun everyone had!

ception hall Rick was there to greet us, give us a run-down and get us pumped for the rest of the evening. Rick even made one of my favorite memories of the evening.. For my Father-Daughter dance I wanted to surprise my father and play Garth Brooks, but Rick took it a step further. Rick sang and played the guitar to the song I wanted. WOW! Our guests are still talking about how great the DJ was and my husband and I couldn't agree more. Book HotBeats Entertainment. I promise it will be the easiest decision you make during wedding planning.
The first time I met Rod he was the DJ at one of my friends weddings in Michigan. I was absolutely blown away! He came to the rehearsal to make sure that he pronounced everyone's n...
ames correctly, he handed out necklaces and sunglasses to people who got out on the dance floor, and he offers the famous cloud dance! After that night I knew that I had to have him at my own wedding.
He was willing to travel over 5 hours just to be a part of my wedding (and only charged slightly more). He wanted to be in contact with the venue to make sure everything was set up perfectly as well as with the photographer so he could make sure the right photos were taken of the cloud dance.
The best thing about him is that he is all inclusive! For one flat rate (that is completely affordable) he will work unlimited hours, he will bring his cloud machine (it makes the first dance magical!), and he will do up-lighting and even make sure his outfit matches your wedding colors!
Look no further, you have found the PERFECT DJ!
