Thinking it was going to be small, we were greatly mistaken. It was just as wonderful as a banquet hall at a major hotel. Our wedding was beautiful and received many compliments ...
from our guest about how big the hall was and easily accessible for catering and bartending services.
We used the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Banquet Hall for our wedding and it was definitely worth it for the price! The Banquet Manager was extremely helpful and made himself availa...
ble anytime we needed his help. He gave us all information we needed and made sure all of our other vendors were able to come in and set up on time. The facility itself is very good overall with a big dance floor which was a huge selling point for us! The carpet and decor is a bit dated, but with our lighting, decor, linens and chair covers, we were able to work around the somewhat dated look. I would recommend this facility to any bride who is looking for a good reception site that is very affordable.
Great place for reception. Size was just right for amount of guests.
The venue was very reasonable and large. The event manager was very accomodating except that we couldnt remove paintings on walls for our decor. I recommend this venue for buget we...

This venue was the first we looked at and absolutely fell in love with it the moment we walked in. The church is huge, has beautiful stained glass windows, and has pretty outside p...
arts perfect for picture taking. The ceremony set up was gorgeous (and we didn't even decorate the church at all!), and they have 2 reception venues - banquet hall/ballroom and skylight room. We used the banquet hall and it is just gorgeous as well - I loooooved the chandeliers throughout, and it's got a spacious wooden dance floor, a piano inside (great for pictures), and pretty wall decor - scenic paintings. It's also got a built in projector you can use if you have a DVD slideshow like we did. Also, the facilities manager, Lamar Dews, is wonderful to work with. He is easy to get in touch with and he is wonderful in easing your mind. This was the perfect venue. =)
That it was next to the church and that our family who where not from San Antonio did not have to travel but to one location. The space for the Caterer, bartender.;When you pay for...
