something we had discussed often. We had a large wishlist with a smaller budget, but the 3 nonnegotiable wishes we had were 1. A beach for a ceremony 2. A beach or other outdoor space for a reception 3. The option of outside catering. All of those conditions were met. The beach in outside of this hotel is public, but it is truly exquisite and civilians are courteous (there were minimal pedestrians in our pictures) . We had the pleasure of having our reception on the lawn that faces the boardwalk and beach, and has an overall exotic feel. We wanted to spend as much time outside, and we were truly able to do so.
One of the main reasons we went this venue was because of the Hotel's wedding coordinator, Tricia. When I had completed my venue tours, she honestly was the most reassuring. After all, I was an overwhelmed bride planning a wedding from 1500 miles away and she gave me the expertise I needed to remain sane. I gueninely feel like the coordinators at other hotels were not as concerned for me as a client, and I am truly grateful for Tricia and her team.
Here is a simple breakdown of what's going on at this venue:
Pros:
-beach for ceremony

-boardwalk/beach access and pool for guests
-outside catering as an option
-get ready space for bridal party
-Located in "mid" Miami beach
-accommodates over 175 guests
cons:
-Valet parking available for hotel guests at a daily and hourly rate (which is normal for Miami Beach)
-breakfast with a charge per person (which is normal for Miami Beach)
-public beach
-lawn space is long and thin (worked well with the 70 guests we had)

ited in person and fell in love with the venue and the grounds. It was the only place that we visited. From the first meeting, the planning went smoothly and we were provided with a list of vendors (we utilized the majority of the preferred vendors including DJ Izzy who was great!). Our wedding weekend was beyond our expectations and all 90 of our guests who traveled to be with us enjoyed every moment. From the Welcome event, to the ceremony & reception, and the breakfast the morning after, everything was amazing! The reception food was so delicious and all of our guests loved it! Tricia and her staff were great to work with and again made our wedding dreams come true! Thank you so much to Tricia & the Holiday Inn and everyone for hosting the best weekend of our lives. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone.

We visited over 20 beach locations from Key West to Deerfield Beach and the incredible value, beautiful facilities, and excellent staff at the Holiday Inn stood out from the crowd. The great staff and wonderful facilities made our decision easy and our wedding unforgettable.
Neither my wife nor I were huge wedding planners, and we didn't hire any outside "wedding planner". Luckily for us, Monica kept us on point and made sure we secured all the right vendors and everything was considered and taken care of. On the day of, Monica once again took control and made sure the whole event ran smoothly from start to finish.
The Fantasy Ballroom at the Holiday Inn is a great setting for the reception with an entire window wall facing out over the balcony, pool, and ocean from the second floor. The option to have an outdoor cocktail hour in the garden with tiki bar or in case of rain indoors in the foyer is an important consideration and our wedding day had a good bit of rain so we utilized this option and it worked out great. Even with rain showers before and after, Monica and her staff went with our decision to roll the dice and hold the wedding on the beach. Although it was a rainy day, the rain abated long enough for us to squeeze in our ceremony on the beach!

Beach. The value, professionalism, and service was far more than I expected. The catering & restaurant staff were very friendly and personable, and if you live in Miami, you know thats not easy to find. I can truly say Monica Tafur and her team delivered an unforgettable experience to ensure that everything went smooth on this day from before our ceremony, which had to be moved indoors, to our reception. Monica was very pleasant and easy to work with and she truly made every effort to honor our requests. I know I pushed a lot of buttons when it came down to requests but one way or another she made it happen. We had a buffet style wedding and the food was by far, one of the best hotel foods Ive tasted. All 156 of our guests loved the food and could not stop talking about how good it was. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Miami Beach Oceanfront if you want to have an amazing wedding. If your like me, you'll think ten times before signing a contract but I promise you'll be very surprised with this venue and all it has to offer.

had the entire event there from rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, reception, and day after brunch. The hotel catered everything and the food was AMAZING! They worked with us to create our ideal menu and created dishes off of the menu even for us. The hotel food exceeded our expectations not only at the tasting, but the entire weekend, and our guests' as well. Monica Tafur was a pleasure to work with really went above and beyond following up on everything and making our crazy requests happen; she was awesome! nd they made sure everything went smoothly and it was all completely stress free for me! I was able to just relax and enjoy the entire day. The grounds are beautiful for pictures! All my guests LOVED the food! We added an ice cream bar that was a huge hit with my guests too! The whole day turned out to be absolutely beautiful, and so much more than I could have ever imagined. This venue is also exceptional value for the money. It cost less than all the other venues I checked out, and I know it turned out to be the best one! it's an understatement! This is by no means the Ritz, but if you're on a budget, this place is it! It's very nice (newly renovated) and the staff is outstanding. The food and drinks were delicious and there was tons of it! Beachfront ceremony got moved indoors, due to horrific weather and it was all seamless. Truly, it was a wonderful experience...we received tons of rave reviews...everyone was blown away by this "Holiday Inn". Who would've thought?!? But I am so happy we gave them a chance! Great memories for years to come!
