We had our wedding at Historic Saint Joseph Hall and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. For a wedding, it was fairly affordable, and having the venue, catering, and bar all included as one package made planning so much simpler and more efficient.
The building itself is beautiful. We loved the architecture and the aesthetics inside, and the space made our wedding feel intimate while still giving us plenty of room for all of our guests. One feature we especially appreciated was having use of the cottage next door. It gave the bridal party a comfortable place to get ready, worked well for storage, and made it easy to pick everything up the next day.
A big thank you to Al, the venue coordinator, and the entire staff for pulling everything together after our previous coordinator left. We received so many comments from guests about how friendly and fun the bartenders and staff were. We also appreciated the flexibility we had in using the building, which took a lot of stress off of us.
Parking is hard to come by in downtown Indianapolis, so having both parking and valet available was a huge help for our guests. We chose the buffet so everyone could pick their own entree, and we got lots of compliments on the food.
We would recommend Historic Saint Joseph Hall to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run venue with a great team behind it.
St. Joseph Hall was a beautiful venue to host our wedding at, we’re so glad we chose it! The building and decor looks really good on its own and we didn’t have to do any additional decorations. Morgan was so attentive throughout our planning and on wedding day. We can’t thank them enough for making everything so stress-free for us!

Originally a schoolhouse, Historical Saint Joseph Hall was renovated in 2011. Though it now boasts a range of stylish features, it nonetheless retains its vintage aesthetic. The banquet hall’s exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and high ceilings are reminiscent of its 19th-century roots. There is ample space for dining and dancing, and the lighting fixtures lend a modern touch to the design. Further facilities include a well-equipped get-ready room and a delightful tented terrace. Another attractive aspect of the venue is its central location. Not far from I-70, it is within walking distance of Indianapolis’ thriving downtown district.

As her first job her responsibilities were to make sure the bride was ready and guide her to walk down the aisle. This is when she fell in love with weddings. She has worked a multitude of events ranging from corporate conferences to club life parties as well. So, if you have an event, she is your go to girl!
