Opening February 2027, Historian Hotel will bring boutique luxury, historic character and modern Wisconsin hospitality to the heart of downtown Madison.
Located at 16 N. Carroll Street, directly across from the Wisconsin State Capitol, this 81-key property will breathe new life into the 111-year-old Churchill Building — Madison’s first skyscraper and a nine-story Beaux-Arts landmark that has long held its place in the city skyline.
As part of Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio, Historian Hotel will offer the character of an independent lifestyle hotel with the confidence, reach and service standards of a global hospitality brand.
