This was an amazing hotel for our wedding block. We got married at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club in West Chicago, Illinois. Our room ended up being free as we had 15 rooms tha...
t were booked over the course of two days for our guests the wedding. We had the bridal suite and it was a beautiful and spacious space. This hotel is located only five minutes down the road from the venue. The breakfast that was included was awesome and they have a great area to sit and eat with friends and family. It was close to a Culvers, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Tropical Smoothie Café and many other restaurants and quick food options. The rooms were newly renovated and everything felt clean and updated. The hotel staff was kind and easy to work with. Highly recommend this hotel!
We had our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles, IL this past May. People always talk about having their dream wedding, and having ours at the Hilton Garden Inn ensured...
that our dream came true. We worked with Natalie Sutphen and she was absolutely amazing! She helped us navigate all the big decisions, as well as the minor ones that we didn’t even know we had to, all while making us feel comforted throughout the process. Working with her, we knew nothing would fall through the cracks. Our wedding had about 120 guests and the venue was absolutely perfect. We had both the ceremony and the reception in the hotel, and with guest accommodations on site, our guests loved it. A true one stop shop! The hotel is wonderful, and the reception hall was perfect. It is situated at the back of the property, so we truly had a private space for just us and our guests. The nice thing about working with the Hilton is that their wedding package includes everything you need in one price (venue, food, booze, flowers, cake, linens, backlighting, etc). While everything is included, they have you work directly with each vendor to ensure everything is exactly as you want it to be. Oh, and then there is the food. Being at a hotel, you may think the food would be just average, but that was not the case at all. The food was absolutely amazing! We had several guests compliment us on how good the food was, and tell us it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. All in all, our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn was truly amazing. With its great venue and wonderful staff, it is truly a place to make the wedding of your dreams come true!
Working with the Hilton Garden Inn to coordinate a room block was really easy and I’d recommend it for any future brides. I do have some positives and a negative to share about the...
hotel and my experience.
My one negative would be that the hotel apparently does not always have the friendliest staff at the front desk (they apparently yelled at one of my shuttle drivers for being 10 minutes late).
The positives would be the following: shuttle service available after booking X number of rooms (costs $150), great follow-up communication from sales staff, clean rooms, and ideal location for Geneva/St. Charles wedding.
This was a great hotel for our guests! The rooms were very large & the service is awesome. They were quick to show me the rooms and gave us lots of books on the town for our ...
out of town guests.
My husband and I originally booked with this location due to the Wedding coordinator. Not only was she AMAZING, but the location was perfect for us since we had so many out-of-town...
guests attending. We were able to have the ceremony and reception in one place and not have to worry about people driving home or getting lost between venues.
Unfortunately, the coordinator we originally booked with was offered another position very soon after us booking and we began working with the head of Catering...someone who had been out of the "wedding business" for some time. While the day itself ended up being perfect, there were a few hiccups along the way.
I would HIGHLY recommend this if you have a lot of people coming from out of town. This was a great reception site and I'm so happy that we chose this place! Cindy was great to wor...
k with and our guests really enjoyed not having to worry about drinking and driving home. Dinner and service were great!
