check-out, was thoroughly seamless.
Our accommodations were more than adequate, remarkably spacious, and provided a highly comfortable environment for the three of us. The absolute highlight was the balcony; we loved checking out the pool, ocean views, refreshing gulf breeze, and the sunsets. It served as the perfect backdrop for our quiet mornings and relaxing evenings.
We spent a significant amount of time at the pool, which was easily the centerpiece of the trip for my boys. They had a wonderful time playing pool basketball and tossing a football and playing with other kids on vacation. I was able to unwind with a few superb poolside beverages, thank you Naomi.
A special note of appreciation goes to Christopher and Catherine at the pool area. They were incredibly welcoming, intuitive to our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Hospitable service of their caliber truly elevates a vacation from pleasant to memorable.
One morning, we had breakfast buffet, which proved to be an enjoyable experience. The kids were thoroughly impressed with the selection—especially the muffins, which received an enthusiastic endorsement! Additionally, the hotel's prime location on the Seawall made it incredibly convenient to access the beach and explore local attractions throughout our stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort and cannot say enough about the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was kind, courteous, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay memorable.

Everything was flawless—from our room and poolside cabana to my morning latte and the delicious chocolate-covered strawberries. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel itself appears recently remodeled, with a modern, updated feel while still maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
What stood out most was the consistent level of hospitality throughout our stay. Every interaction left us feeling valued as guests.
I will absolutely be back and would highly recommend the Hilton Galveston Island Resort to anyone visiting Galveston. Thank you for helping create such a special and memorable experience.

This is our second stay at Hilton Gaveston, the last time was better than this time. The only issues were that we had 3 bottles in the shower, but when I got into shower they were all almost empty so I had nothing to wash my hair with. The phon...
es weren't working so I couldn't call for room service, however they did leave a note and an alternate number to text which was pretty quick to respond to and room service was quick. The staff while were there were always friendly and opening doors for us when we came in from the parking lot and pool. We were charged a $27 parking fee every day which were not aware of, and with the room already being $249 per night seemed a bit steep. The one thing that was aggravating was we accidentally left clothes in the closet and when we got home and realized it we called and kept getting transferred to lost and found and it kept ringing then would hang up, then we would call back and they kept transferring us before we could barely say anything else. So after the 5th call the front desk woman said she could hold the clothes and asked when we could come back to get them. She didn't even offer to ship them, well I worked at a hotel and know that it happens all the time and you can ship them so when I brought it up she said she didn't think they could. I told her to transfer me back to the lost and found or give me a manager. She sent us to lost and found and they picked up and yes they ship! So the woman who is over shipping was great, she got it taken care of immediately, we paid for the label through UPS which was $35 and they picked up next day and 2 days later we got the box! So overall I do love it here, just need to work out a few of the bugs! There pool and bar is awesome by the way!
Stayed here for a weekend trip with our young family. The location of the hotel was wonderful! The bellmen, valet and restaurant staff were great and always anticipating our needs.

ome to the Hilton property! And Fawn at the front desk who helped me with my questions via chat feature on the Hilton App plus was super friendly and professional in person. I really appreciated her warmness!
Cons: Lots of flies everywhere and floors constantly wet because of the pool and people coming in from the beach.
Also, we had a small request to extend our night and tried making the request online via the chat; however was told to come downstairs to the front desk. (this was 10:15 pm) We did head to the front desk only to be helped by Rebecca. Her lack of friendliness and urgency to want to help us was apparent on her face and body language to my husband. The live music playing in the bar area seemed to have been too loud for her and perhaps she may need a reasonable accommodation for her lack of hearing.
Needless to say, we did not stay the extra night.
I booked this “resort” for our family of 5. To start positive the autmosphete of the lobby and the staff were GREAT. Everyone we met had a great attitude .
I booked this resort because of the pictures of the pool. The pool is very misleading ....
It is quite small for the size of the resort and is not kid friendly . The “lazy river” is not really a lazy river , and one side of the small pool is labeled “adult only” .
The rooms were nice but need some repairs and updating . The dresser drawers wouldn’t stay closed , the vanity in the bathroom was chipping , etc .
It did not present for the value that was spent .
It wasn’t a horrible experience , my boys still had fun but I would not book again .
