Laurisa was our worst nightmare in planning a wedding.
We hired Laurisa as a wedding coordinator and were so excited to work with her. Admittedly there were a few red flags but w...
e excused her lack of experience and reasoned she made up for it with her energy and can-do spirit.
Boy were we wrong.
Unfortunately Laurisa was consistently late, didn't deliver what she promised, and when we expressed concerns and asked her if she had a back up-plan in the event she's exposed to COVID on our wedding day (as supposedly happened when she bailed at the last second for our walk-through of the venue), she stopped responding completely!?!
She walked away with our $1,000 deposit and won't respond to calls, texts or emails from us pleading with her to return our deposit so we can hire a new coordinator. Added stress of being out a grand, upon an already stressful situation of having a key vendor bail almost a month before the wedding. Please save the stress and AVOID at all costs.
