An absolute dream of a venue! From beginning to end, Hidden Pond was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Our guests were blown away by the service, accommodations, and food. ...
The cost is worth it :)
We just returned from a MAGICAL wedding weekend at Hidden Pond. Our daughter selected Hidden Pond somewhat blindly during the pandemic. We are from Philadelphia (groom from Boston)...
and she wanted a private venue. Most of our guests, including us, had never been to Kennebunkport and many never to Maine. It also seems most really didn't "investigate" Hidden Pond before arriving and EVERYONE WAS BLOWN AWAY. We had the entire property for our guests, the lodging is 5star+, the hospitality is amazing (delivery of coffee and fresh muffins in the morning was a huge hit), the bikes, the spa, Earth Restaurant, it was all perfect. I actually never expect much of wedding food and the hors-d'oeuvres, the meal, the donuts and the after party snacks were all fantastic. Throughout the night, people would stop me and mention how great the food was....even mentioning the potatoes and the salad.
Besides just being able to have the wedding after the pandemic, this was like a dream come true. We will return to Hidden Pond and reminisce the best weekend of our lives many times.
