I was expecting to be a worried mother-of-the-bride but things were done so well, I was able to be 100% present for the things that mattered because Herrington did such a fabulous job. The non-alcoholic bar selections were also fantastic - tasty cocktails and excellent NA wines and beer. About 20% of our guests did not drink alcohol and they felt as special and included as everyone else. BRAVO!

Taresa helped us through every step of the planning process, answering all of our questions and making everything feel seamless. The staff was amazing as well, they were so kind and didn’t skip a beat the whole entire day and process leading up to the wedding. As a bride you stress a little that things will get done. With this staff, there was no second guessing them. They were ON it! I hope some of my friends get married here because the food is something I NEED in my life again!! All our guest raved about the food! We’ve loved every bit about our wedding day and the whole experience with HOTB. Would recommend them to anyone getting married because they have it going on here!

Our entire wedding party and families stayed at the Inn at Herrington Harbor for the weekend. Their naturally gluten free kitchen was loved by our celiac family and the gluten-eaters could not believe that our entire menu was gluten free. Family and friends are still talking about how delicious the food was and how perfect the day was -- largely thanks to Herrington! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

very first “let’s check this out” appointment all the way until the day of the wedding we have been amazed by the client service, commitment, and attention to EVERY detail.  HOB was nothing short of perfection. The staff went above and beyond every step of the way—no detail was too small, no request too big.  Lexy B was our Lead Executive and she was exceptional from Day 1. She has exceptional communication skills and followed through within hours to every email/phone call. She is masterful at planning and provided sound advice on where/how to use vendors, how to work the food choices that would support my daughters vibe (and also help be cost effective) Our Day of Coordinator Katie  was nothing short of PERFECTION. She  anticipated what we needed before we even asked, making the entire day feel effortless and filled with joy.  It simply amazed me how her and her staff set up the venue just from a corner full of boxes and A few instructions into the most exquisite looking wedding reception I’ve ever seen in my life.   Virtually every one of our guests (including our photographer and videographer) said my daughter‘s wedding was simply the most stunning wedding they’ve ever seen.  Katie and Lexi were ironing tablecloths to make sure there were no creases - they filled vases with water and even made arrangements for drinks & apps to be delivered to the wedding party while they were doing post ceremony pictures so they didn’t miss out on cocktail hour.   Before my daughter’s ceremony took place the general manager, Mr. Gerardo Massa stopped by to introduce himself and make sure everything was to our liking. A gracious man and one of the most impressive gestures I’ve ever seen was after the ceremony while we were taking pictures. Mr. Massa was one of the folks that came over with trays of drinks to make sure we were taken care of.   Unbelievably impressive. The chef is masterful and the staff and servers amazing.  The appetizers we chose were delicious, we also got the sushi bar, which was a huge hit.   All of the entrees came out piping hot and I think everyone cleaned their plate !!  The Bartending staff made amazing drinks all night, and we were fortunate enough to be the first two debut the “ring the bell drink wall”.  That is going to be talked about for years !!!   You must must must rent that if you have your event at Herrington !!    My daughter, and son-in-law enjoyed their wedding because everything was taken care of. And I actually enjoyed their wedding because I had the trust of the wonderful staff from HOB.  I cannot think of one thing that I would change, and I’m a hard critic. lol.  I feel like the staff at Herrington is like family and I would do another Event there in a heartbeat.  The town is just the cutest, we took two extra days and enjoyed the sites around North Beach  With Sincere Gratitude  Karen H

we contacted Brittany, explaining we had just fired our other wedding venue, she was prompt, quick, available, and organized. She was able to get back to us the same day (under one hour to be exact), and finalize the date. She put us in great hands with Lexi. Lexi organized and stayed on top of every detail Racail wanted in her wedding. She made the impossible, possible. From following up on emails, to asking questions we didn’t think of that needed to be done for the big day, Lexi was able to surpass our expectations with communication. This was our Brides biggest pet peeve. One of the main reasons she let the other venue go. On to Sarah, our event coordinator the day of the wedding, whom from the time we got there was in contact with not only the Brides side, but grooms, too. Sarah made sure our guests were seated, kept us informed of what was taking place, and helped ease our minds with solutions to some of the issues that arose (non from Herrington all from our own party haha). She kept checking on the Bride and Groom all evening. She should be a photographer, too. Good lord she took beautiful photos of the bridal party before the walk. The bus driver- he may not know, but those quiet minutes he allowed them to have in the bus, made all the difference. That allowed her to gather her mind, enjoy a moment of peace, and think back on what they just accomplished. MARRIAGE! Finally to our girl Aggie- thank you. We know we were the most complicating or unorganized bridal party, but you got us right with the songs, when to walk, gathering our belongings without hesitation, and being there every step of the way. You took down our outside decorations out of the kindness of your heart, and we are forever grateful. After a night of dancing, we were exhausted and ready to head home. You ALL made that possible. Andrew, we won’t forget our bartender. Served up the best mixed drinks of the night! Some that weren’t on the menu ;) thank you to everyone who made our Bride and Groom’s evening the most memorable one ever. Then came the wedding day, and Megan was an absolute rockstar! She was so attentive, organized, and on top of every little thing before we even had to think about it. The grounds are stunning, with lush flower gardens buzzing with butterflies and bees, and the gentle sound of the ocean crashing nearby adds the perfect natural soundtrack to your day. Every corner feels like it was made for a wedding- so romantic, serene, and utterly magical. The staff at Herrington on the Bay were an absolute joy to be around- they made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Every detail was handled with care, and you could truly feel how much they genuinely care about the couple, the guests, and the day. And the food… WOW. It was absolutely outrageous- hands down the best food you’ll ever have at a wedding. Every bite was incredible, and it added so much to the celebration. Katie brought us a personal appetizer tray and our signature cocktails right to the shuttle bus while we waited to be announced into cocktail hour. We truly felt so understood and so well taken care of. years we planned our daughter’s wedding, and based on the over 200 texts, emails, phone calls, and letters we received after the event, I’d say, with the help of the incredible staff at Herrington on the Bay, we created a truly magical experience! Our designated personal planner Lexy Buchanan, tirelessly worked with us (sometimes day and night – and that is no exaggeration) to develop a vision that was uniquely our daughter’s. From the beginning she guided us as we explored local vendors. Believe me - no detail was left to chance – the chairs, the table clothes, the tables, the food choices – you name it – together we explored and edited and explored some more… WOW Lexy was worth her weight in gold one hundred times over! As we progressed through the planning process additional staff were introduced to us that would be with us on the day of the wedding – including Amber and Katie. We truly have NEVER experienced so much support and guidance and with so much love and care!! You would truly have thought we were the only family having a wedding that entire weekend! And we weren’t – it was Labor Day weekend, but it did not matter – you would NEVER have known that anyone else mattered except for our daughter! The day of the wedding was just completely out of a fairytale – Lexy, Little Lexy, Amber, and Katie coordinated and organized our event like a finely orchestrated play! The staff were INCREDIBLE! The bartenders, the wait staff, you just cannot even imagine a better organized event! The kindness and caring that each and every staff member extended to us and to all of our guests was A-1 PERFECT! Guests could not believe the number of staff that were at the wedding – at no time was there a line at the bar, a wait for food (WHICH WAS INCREDIBLE and PLENTIFUL!). Whether it was an extra couple appetizers to try while we were in the beginning meetings or always offering a beverage (or two), they were always so welcoming. We had contemplated getting a wedding coordinator, but we're glad we didn't because they made each step really easy for us. This was hands down the best day of our lives and Herrington made it that much easier for us to enjoy it.
