About this vendor
Located on 700 pristine acres, Hermitage Farm is the premier wedding site in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, with beautiful rolling hills that provide a stunning backdrop for any wedding. Hermitage’s historic charm and natural beauty provide an elegant backdrop to events of any scale – from intimate dinner parties to grand outdoor celebrations. We offer a variety of venue options for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception that center around the historic Main House at Hermitage Farm. We're also excited to introduce our first indoor venue, The Hayloft, that has just completed a stunning design transformation of one of the historic barns on Hermitage Farm.
We're very proud to have Barn8 (the onsite restaurant at Hermitage Farm) as our exclusive caterer. Chef Alison Settle and our culinary team will create a unique menu that features locally grown vegetables (most coming from the Hermitage Farm gardens) and pasture raised meats.

Everything about the day was perfect. Venue, service, decor. Curtis and his team are true professionals and a joy to work with. He listened to all of our feedback and worked in par...

ere beautiful for an August wedding! We also stayed in the main house which is so convenient for night before and after the wedding!
I cannot recommend Hermitage Farm Barn8 & Curtis Conlin enough! First and foremost, we had a December wedding. We had our ceremony in the hayloft above Barn8, then we then had cock...
tail hour in the greenhouse, while they flipped the hayloft for our evening reception. From the get-go Curtis and his team were amazing! From planning meetings to text, Email’s, phone calls, they answered all of our questions and communicated with us upfront. They made our vision come to life. The staff during our ceremony and reception were absolutely incredible. They catered not only to our guests but us. From making separate plates of food for our cocktail hour so we could eat and mingle to attending to every need and whim of our reception to even pumping me up before I walk down the aisle…..They went above and beyond and made our event what it was. Truly any review I could write would not do them justice! They truly made our wedding a day that we will never forget! Thank you again!
Hermitage Farm was our DREAM wedding venue. It was stunning in the Fall, and our guests are still talking about how magical it was. There were so many special details and parts abo...
ut the day and leading up to it - the wonderful tasting selecting our wedding menu, the beautiful glasses and dinnerware, the horses on the property, the Main House to get ready in, and the stunning backdrop the venue provided every minute of our wedding day. We had our ceremony outside the Main House, the cocktail hour at the Greenhouse, and the reception in the Hayloft. Each space was magical in its own way. Curtis was simply fantastic. So patient with all my many questions during the planning process and there every step of the way of the day of the event. The food from Barn8 was beyond our wildest dreams and something we will not soon forget. It was just perfection. I cannot recognize Hermitage Farm enough for their stunning space and exceptional service!

e and beyond to make sure we had all of the help in the world as we planned our KY wedding from NYC and truly made our lives so much easier. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!
Hermitage Farm is absolutely stunning! The gorgeous main house is the focal point of the event grounds, surrounded by mature trees, charming details, expansive horse paddocks, and ...
ultimate privacy. We wanted a DIY wedding (choosing our own decor, caterers, bar service, etc) on a big beautiful piece of land that would also allow us to do something a little unique - have all food cooked over open flame. It was very challenging finding a place to allow this. Ashleigh with Hermitage was an absolute dream to work with! She made sure the grounds crew was aware of our plans, accommodated for everything we needed, and was readily available for questions and site visits throughout the whole process. The other huge selling point for us was the fact that Hermitage is a weekend rental! We were able to have our entire immediate family stay with us on the property from Fri-Sun in the gorgeous house, containing an impressive collection of modern art. Rehearsal dinner, getting ready on the wedding day, Sunday brunch, etc all took place at Hermitage, making it a breeze to enjoy time together instead of fussing over transportation and coordination. We were able to have access to the grounds and the storage garage the week prior, so we could begin our decor preparations. This is super unique in the industry - you won’t find flexibility and hospitality like this anywhere else. It’s very much worth the price, but be aware that when I say DIY - I mean it. Tables, chairs, lighting, restrooms trailers, valet, service staff, facility fees, etc. It adds up - but if you have the budget, you won’t be disappointed. Every little detail was taken care of and accommodated for. Hermitage was honestly a dream come true venue for us! Absolutely breathtaking.
As an out-of-town couple, we booked the Hermitage Farm without ever having visited it. The natural beauty was evident from the photos and the manager, Ashleigh, was easy to talk t...
o and very helpful. It turned out to be the perfect venue! We held our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Hermitage. And we stayed there on Friday + Saturday, along with our wedding party. It was so very lovely and we feel lucky to have found such a beautiful venue.
From the moment that I saw the Hermitage, I knew it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue. Ashleigh was wonderful to work with, and we we so ...
happy with all of the other staff who helped make our weekend stay wonderful. Having the house with full-amenities was exceptionally useful on the day of the wedding. The day was absolutely perfect. We especially loved the little touches that greeted us upon arrival. The only negative was the price, but it was still worth it in my eyes, considering it perfectly matched what I wanted. Highly recommend Hermitage Farm.
