About this vendor
The fact that you even found us this way, is likely because someone referred you, since we don't pay for any advertising,
(or you REALLY do your research) so we're glad you're here!!
With over a decade of experience providing wedding photography in NY and NJ, we’ve perfected our approach to making sure things run smoothly on the photographic end. We’ve flourished in countless “less ideal” conditions (we actually love inclement elements like rain and snow). We’ve been fortunate enough to capture star athletes and stunning actresses, to Fortune 500 NYC executives and adorably awkward couples insisting they HATE being in front of the camera (SPOILER ALERT: They loved their photos). Our end goal is always to insure you receive the very best care before, on, and after your wedding day. This means unlimited consultations and swift responses/advice, being an absolute pleasure and rock of calmness in any given situation on your big day, and guaranteeing your heirloom photo album is pristine for your children, your children’s children, and beyond.
We're not your typical wedding photographers. Quality of light is the most important aspect of photography, and that’s what sets us apart. Bringing our own light allows us to operate in any given situation, which is a crucial skill when it comes to weddings taking place in dark cavernous churches or reception halls with colored walls/high ceilings, or inclement weather keeps you inside. You can rest assured, your photos will be awesome everywhere you go! Stylistically, we strive for contemporary photojournalism juxtaposed with classic lighting/portraiture and a modern edginess. In short, our work is always current and unique, but at the same time, keeps the aspects that make a photo timeless. We strive to be extremely low-profile, and one of my favorite compliments is when we're told they never even saw us there. If you’re looking for someone “in-your-face”, asking you and your guests for forced smiles into the camera and put you in cheesy poses, I’m not for you. While I will give you direction in posing to help flatter your best features during portrait sessions, I prefer to tell the story of your day exactly as awesome as it unfolds, and no less… Reach out to us and see if we're a fit! =)

s, both in the lead-up to our elopement and on our big day itself.
Hendrick is a true artist. He came prepared with a ton of creative ideas of his own, and the shots he captured were absolutely incredible. At the same time, he took the time to ask about our own ideas and preferences, making sure the experience felt personal to us. That balance of creativity and collaboration made our day even more special and gave us memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
The quality of his photography and editing is outstanding. His ability to work with colors, find the perfect angles, and frame each shot so beautifully really shows his talent and attention to detail. Every photo feels thoughtfully composed, and the final results exceeded our expectations.
Beyond his incredible work, Hendrick is genuinely kind and personable. He made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience, which made such a difference on a day that meant so much to us.
If you are looking for a professional photographer who combines artistic talent, exceptional quality, and a wonderful personality, look no further than Hendrick Moy. We are incredibly grateful to have had him capture our elopement, and we will absolutely be recommending him to anyone looking for professional photography. You will be in excellent hands!
I cannot recommend Hendrick enough. He captured Alex and I in our element while giving incredible artistic direction. I can’t wait to shoot with him again.

t, and incredibly talented. He made us feel comfortable the entire day, and it never felt like we were just another client. It truly felt like we had a friend behind the camera. Funny enough, my wife actually found Hendrick through ChatGPT! 😂 Best recommendation ever. Thank God she did, because not only did we get stunning wedding photos, but we also gained a new friend. Every picture captured genuine emotion, and looking through them brings us right back to our wedding day. He has an incredible eye for detail and somehow captured moments we didn’t even realize were happening. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your story and delivers amazing work, stop searching and book Hendrick. I recommend him to everyone on earth! 😎 Thank you for giving us memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. God bless you, my friend! 🙏❤️

d bring out the beauty in our industrial venue (The Roundhouse) and, most importantly, capture all the love on our best day ever. We were inspired by his creativity, edgy use of light, and his calm, friendly demeanor - he absolutely nailed it. From our first skype interview to finally receiving our wedding album, working with Hendrick has been more than a pleasure, and we would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
On our wedding day, we worked Hendrick, his assistant, Jon, and his second shooter, Paul, to death and couldn’t be more appreciative of their skills and enthusiasm. We highly recommend a second shooter because Paul was also able to capture some of our favorite shots! By the end of the night, they had photographed us in every kind of setting imaginable – industrial shots in town; outside with trees/water; unbelievable church shots; in a dark, crowded brewery; crazy dancing candids in our venue; and all our personalized details, etc. We were most touched, however, by the unexpected shots that captured our day and our people perfectly. We barely noticed they were there (Hendrick did mention he was a low-profile ninja!), and we were simply able to celebrate. We trusted they were getting the perfect shots and have a gorgeous album to prove it. He even set up a surprise preview at our reception with pictures from our first look hours prior! The hardest part of the entire process was trying to put all our favorite pictures into ONE album.
There are a few vendors that are worth paying more for when it comes to your wedding, and an amazing photographer like Hendrick is DEFINITELY one of them. We can’t gush about our experience enough and are excited to enjoy and share our photos for the rest of our lives. Thanks Hendrick!!
We feel incredibly lucky that Hendrick was available and that his prices were so reasonable, considering how much talent he has. Our ceremony was on a dark, rainy night in February...
. There were 16 people in a dimly lit chapel; there was no long walk down the aisle, no bridal party and no wonderful decorations. Still, he and his assistant were able to capture gorgeous photos and the intimacy of the event. His ability to utilize shadows, flash and perspective are amazing. He was also incredibly accommodating to all of our last minute needs and incessant questioning since everything was planned in a short period of time. We are seriously considering asking him to follow us around town in our wedding outfits once the weather gets warmer!

ere are not very many posed photos. He managed to capture great shots of everyone and all of the emotion of the day. We have received so many compliments on our photos. We were originally torn on using Hendrick versus a vendor that cost a little less. The extra money spent was worth every penny!
