e was a bit of a miscommunication about dates and locations when we lost of venue 5 months before the wedding but we got it changed at they arrived as needed. We also love that they will remake the top tier of our wedding cake on our one years anniversary so we didn't have to juggle it for a year and hope it unfreezes well.

The first thing my new husband said when we woke up the next morning was "Please tell me someone took the extra desserts, I want them"! He was spot on, the desserts were to die for. We are going to make it a point to stop by every time we are in town as a little celebration as because it is just so tasty! They were easy to work with and delivered everything in a timely manner!!

n. There were a few things that seemed to be lost in translation- serving of champagne and cake, who was providing glasses, and folding of napkins but overall nothing that had an overall impact on our evening. The fact that we could get cake, food, china, and bartenders in one stop was a big help.

mind them about my order and delivery (which they were still late) and was treated as if I was bothering their staff by ordering my wedding cake there. It was a great quality and price, but if I could do it again I might go elsewhere and be treated a little more nicely with less stress about if they were actually going to show up with my cake.

nt, Marguerite and her staff were amazing! Had it not been for Marguerite, my husband and I probably wouldn’t have had anything to eat! The only reason they’re getting 4 stars is because there were some communication gaps prior to the wedding. It was unprofessional, in my opinion, and caused concern as the big day approached. However, everything went off without a hitch, like I said, and the staff and food was great!!!

and the service was amazing. Then came the day of, we called to see what time everything was going to be delivered and I have never received such disrespect and attitude from Dan. He never answered my husbands question about what time everything was going to be delivered so I gave them a call and a worker answered and then told me Dan already spoke to someone about this matter so he would not speak to me and I was given Marguerite number. As she ended up being helpful, everything still didn't go as it was supposed to. When they got there to set up my bartender asked the set up crew where the cake was, they proceeded to say that it was going to be delivered later after giving her a look of confusion. My cake was delivered at 345 (15 minutes after my reception had started) there was no groomsmen cake. My dad gave them a call and they had no idea where the cake was, after not receiving a call back my brother and I called asking about the groomsmen cake. They said it was delivered to a different venue. At 630pm the groomsmen cake was delivered and was a very detailed cake and look good but you could bluntly tell that it had been touched and messed with. The delivery lady told me and my mom that she just picked it up and brought it here. Being that the cake had been messed with I denied the cake, my husband walked up and she proceed to tell him that they had just remade it (which was impossible being how detailed the cake was). After that I go and cut my wedding cake during my reception and it's the wrong flavor and wrong decorations. After all said and done my dad called the bakery and never got a call back from Marguerite. He ended up emailing her a week later and finally got a response and she never once apologized for the mistake and kept defending the situation. The food was decent but the biggest part of a caterer is the wedding cake and I've never had such a bad experience before. Not only was my cake delivered late, we didn't even receive the correct cake.

The only negative I can comment about is that they are not quick to respond to emails, so I would recommend calling for any updates or changes to your order. Marguerite was a pleasure to work with from the start. Meeting her at a wedding show got me very interested in her cakes so we definitely wanted her to create our wedding cake. Let me just tell you, it was very hard to decide on any cake flavor because they were all so very good. After meeting with her and seeing the menu, and then tasting the food, we decided pretty fast we wanted Heitzman to cater as well. Their food tasted very good for the price. It was hard finding a caterer for under $20 a person (and we had about 160 people RSVP yes)! Everything went perfectly. The staff was at the venue and made sure everyone was served. They were friendly and polite and stayed until the very end and helped clean up. It was the best service I could have asked for. They went above and beyond my expectations. I met them at a wedding show, but now I plan on stopping in more often just for some of the food and treats that they offer. Highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

't need. We were trying to save on cost but the stress that would have been would not have been worth it. We chose Heitzmans because they were already doing our cake and we had a copy of their catering offerings which were a good deal. Our tasting appointment was more than we could have asked for. They gave us samples of everything we wanted to try and other ideas that might work with our selections. ALL of their food was so good. The owner, Marguerite, is so awesome. She worked with us on price, guided us on quantity and selection without being pushy, rude or impatient. Day of, the setup was beautiful, as she promised, plently of food, plates, napkins and cutlery and they cleaned up and broke everything down without us even noticing! She even boxed the groom and I up take home plates. It was so nice to feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing and our guests enjoyed the meal. You really can't go wrong going with Heitzmans.

did our rehearsal dinner at the store. I got so many compliments on the food, we did a pasta bar, which is just fun. Everything was amazing, you bring in your own booze and they take care of everything else. Even if you don't do your rehearsal dinner there, atleast have them cater that or your wedding. They did a wonderful job. Very affordable.
