We booked Hedgefine for our wedding day, we got 4 bouquets and 5 boutonnieres and let me tell you, Luisa is amazing. She was incredibly responsive, considerate, and eager to do wha...
tever I wanted to bring my vision to life. She didn't try to upsell me or try to convice me to book a whole set up. I was looking for a place that was okay with me using faux flowers in my decor and that was completely fine with them! My bouquet was a cascading arrangement and it just looked like an absolute fairytale, it was everything I wanted and more. The process with her from the beginning to the end was a breeze, the communication, overall look and idea, and execution was just superb. 10/10, I would recommend this place to anyone needing flowers for an event.
Louisa and her team at Hedge were wonderful to work with! They made our floral vision come to life. They coordinated seamlessly with my planner and worked within my budget so well....
Highly recommend them!
Luisa at Hedge made our reception venue come to life! She perfectly executed our daughter’s vision of a winter wedding with cedars and Christmas trees. The venue was stunning! All ...
our guests were so complimentary of the design details. Hedge truly made our daughter’s wedding weekend a magical one!
Hedge Fine Blooms was great to work with for our Welcome Drinks event for our daughter’s wedding weekend.

ess seamless.
The florals were exactly what we had envisioned and the votive’s added such a lovely touch. She even went the distance to attach lighting to our Welcome Sign.
She offered ideas, though always listened to what we envisioned.
The delivery and clean up was stress-free as Luisa worked directly with Common House to arrange timing for both.
We were so happy to have worked with Hedge Fine Blooms.
We got married in August 2024 and after reviewing three proposals and having conversations with multiple florists selected Hedge Fine Blooms to provide the floral arrangements for ...
our wedding. We are so happy we did and would recommend Hedge Fine every time! We selected Hedge Fine Blooms for the people (Lesleigh and Luisa), and they also delivered the most amazing floral arrangements.
From the start, Lesleigh and Luisa were so kind, collaborative, and thoughtful, and listened to us and our vision every step of the way and provided super helpful guidance. They were great to work with.
I had a strong vision of exactly what I was and wasn’t looking for, and on my wedding day, the floral arrangements exceeded even my highest expectations. I had requested blue hydrangea and the flowers were the most perfect blue I have ever seen. I was worried about how the roses I had requested would look in the bouquets because I had never seen a precedent of what I was requesting. My worries vanished the moment I saw the arrangements - they looked and smelled amazing, like a dream, with the most perfect roses. Everything, every arrangement was so perfect, so fresh, and so alive. The bouquets stayed alive and fresh, even after hours in the hot Virginia summer sun, so I kept a few, and they were so beautiful the days after that I could not take my eyes off of them (and I like flowers but not usually this much). Thank you so much, Lesleigh, Luisa and the Hedgefine Blooms team!
Hedge Fine Blooms did a fantastic job providing the flowers for my wedding, including my bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, petals for the flower girl, and a boutonniere for my husban...
d. The lady I worked with - Karen - was very knowledgeable about types of flowers in season and provided excellent recommendations on colors, bouquet sizes, and types of flowers based on the ideas I had and what we were all wearing! She was also able to work with me to get a flower that was out of season but I really wanted in my bouquet. I got multiple compliments on the flowers throughout the wedding!
Luisa and Lesleigh absolutely knocked our wedding florals out of the park! We gave them limited guidelines, just a color palette and a couple of flowers we liked, and let them run ...
with it, and we're so glad we did - everything turned out better than we could've imagined. It was also easy to maximize our floral budget since they could help us plan the best way to repurpose flowers from bouquets and the ceremony arrangements. I can't recommend Hedge enough!
I am not sure where to start, as Catherine at Hedge Fine Blooms quite simply made our wedding flower dreams come true! As a couple that had no idea what we were doing in the weddin...
g planning process, Catherine took our limited knowledge/thoughts/ideas and turned them into our magical reality! I truly could not have asked for anything better! Not only is she an incredible florist, but she is an incredible person, too! We love you, Catherine!
I've been in the wedding industry for 9 years now, just had my own wedding, and couldn't have been more thrilled with Hedge!! They were so helpful in helping me come up with a visi...
on of my own, they were patient when I changed my whole color scheme the month before (HA!), and they were just amazing and calming the day of my wedding (getting there so early to make sure everything was done on time). I was almost in tears when I saw my bouquet--it was perfect. Not only that but I had 14 bridesmaids (ah!) and they did such a stellar job with all their bouquets as well. Couldn't love Hedge more :)
I cannot recommend Hedge Fine Blooms enough. They were by far my favorite vendor to work with throughout the wedding planning process - and I had an amazing vendor team! Catherine ...
is such an artist putting any vision together, and I had so much fun working with her to put together a floral vision for my fall wedding. I knew that, no matter what else happened, my wedding flowers would be beautiful - and they were stunning. Even during a crazy year for weddings, they were responsive throughout the whole process. I would give them a million more stars if I could!
Karen did a FANTASTIC job bringing our vision to life! We met with her at her store and briefly described what we were looking for in our flowers. She was able to quickly plan what...
each arrangement would look like and made our dream come true! With COVID hitting right in the middle of our planning process, Karen was super helpful in getting everything situated for the new date. She even helped us figure out how to change some arrangements since we were no longer keeping our ceremony location and reception venue separate. The flowers turned out gorgeous and went perfectly with our summer wedding! We loved working with Karen at Hedge Fine Blooms and would recommend her store in a heartbeat!

resh arrangements that many (experienced wedding-goers) guests commented on positively. The wedding was at a local winery, so flowers were used outdoors at the ceremony (arch, wine barrels, etc) as well as indoor spaces (tasting room) and the reception. Everyone at Hedge did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend (and have already done so)!

ul setup for our wedding ceremony and reception. Our bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding party were breathtaking. She had the great idea of adding lanterns to our ceremony site which really tied our whole vision together. THANK YOU so much for all your hard work and for your beautiful arrangements.
Hedge is AMAZING. I contracted Hedge to do my wedding bouquets, floral arrangements, boutonnieres, and aisle swags. I had a phone conversation with Karen, the owner, sent her some ...
pictures from Pinterest and BOOM she produced arrangements that exceeded every expectation. She knew EXACTLY what I was talking about and looking for, and I was soooo pleased with what she put together. People were complimenting our arrangements all evening! AND at a great price, so reasonable. And did I mention flexible? I added three centerpieces at the 11th hour and Hedge easily accommodated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
We absolutely LOVED how perfect the florals came out for our wedding in late June! I was pretty simplistic about the items I wanted, but also a little picky considering that many c...
ommon floral options were just not appealing to me (roses, carnations, etc.). Catherine was someone we were put in contact with early on and she was open and honest with us about our selections from the very beginning in terms of feasibility and cost. Later on, we worked closely with the owner, Karen, and she was also a great pleasure - she was incredibly flexible with us and did an outstanding job making sure we got what we wanted. Every single detail for our day was curated perfectly. All floral pieces survived extreme heat AND rain, and ultimately, were so so stunning (I am still getting compliments about my bouquet)! :) Thanks, Hedge!!

engagement, and was an absolute joy to meet onsite. I've gotten so many compliments on our wedding flowers, and I couldn't agree more - they turned out beautifully! I would recommend Karen and HFB to anyone in and around the Charlottesville area for any occasion! Love love love <3

wer types for our bouquets and boutonnières. By the time Wynne sent over a detailed description of the design plan with prices, I felt completely comfortable that she would ensure the end result was perfect. She was a patient listener, taught me about different blooms and greens, and made suggestions that were completely in tune with the ‘feel’ I was going for. Her customer service was incredible, and I would recommend that everyone work with her. The only negative comment I have about Hedge is that I called weeks before the wedding with final payment information, and someone forgot to run the card. Because of that, someone sent an email around 2pm on my wedding day asking for final payment. When I returned the vases, I provided feedback that either someone should be checking for final payment on all accounts at least one week before the event day or they should have waited to email at least until the next day. I sincerely hope they take this advice because it was an added stress that I did not need. Negative comment aside, I would recommend Hedge and especially Wynne for wedding florals due to her excellent ability to listen and collaborate to come up with the perfect floral solutions.
The flowers were absolutely beautiful and we had no problems at all in working with Karen at Hedge Fine Blooms. I highly recommend using them for your flower services in your weddi...
ng or corporate function.
I am incredibly particular and we planned our wedding for more than a year and a half, and I cannot rave enough about Catherine at Hedge and the whole team who helped make our day ...
so perfect. I initially had reached out to several other florists in the area who all quoted astronomical pricing to decorate the arch for our ceremony. Hedge was extremely flexible and came up with a way to make it affordable yet still gorgeous and perfect, and I wished I had gone to them first. I had such a specific vision for our wedding flowers, and Hedge completely NAILED IT. I mean it was even better than what I had imagined. We had five flower girls, and Hedge created beautiful flower crowns for them, as well as a gorgeous flower comb for my hair, which was exactly what I had envisioned. They were absolutely wonderful and easy to work with, and I cannot recommend Hedge enough for floral needs! If we lived in Charlottesville, Hedge would easily be my go-to florist. :)
Wynne at Hedge Fine Blooms is the BEST! I had a vague idea of what I wanted my wedding flowers to look like, and Wynne helped me shape my abstract vision into a reality. She offe...
red such great suggestions and advice, and I felt like she truly captured what I was seeing in my head. I remember specifically looking through inspiration photos with her, and she quickly skipped over one image and said “no, you won’t like that,” and agreeing with her, I asked, “Why specifically wouldn’t I like that?” and she nailed exactly the reason, pretty much even using the same words I would have used.
I couldn't give the full 5 stars only because my bouquet was specifically supposed to be "loose and flowy," which we talked about a lot, and that element was lacking. My bouquet was a fairly compact arrangement, and that was a little upsetting, but it didn't detract from the day at all. I'm not sure what happened, but everything else was perfect, and I HIGHLY recommend Hedge, especially Wynne.
Karen was great to work with! When I went to our appointment, I had no idea what to expect. But, she helped me find what I wanted by setting up examples in front of me! She would a...
sk what I wanted and found the things I would gravitate towards. Their work was beautiful! So happy I picked them :)
I worked with Karen at Hedge, and she is fantastic! Their shop is inviting and full of great ideas. I would give a full 5 stars, but my guys flowers wilted with in a few hours :(
Karen was very nice to work with and very prompt to respond to all our inquiries. She even went above and beyond to deliver an extra boutonniere to the chapel just before the wedd...
ing started. Unfortunately we selected a flower for the groomsmen that did not hold up and shriveled up just after the ceremony. We also had one flower included in the bouquets and boutonnieres that was way too orange for our blush pink wedding. However, neither of these issues were detrimental to the wedding. Overall we would highly recommend HFB for all your wedding needs.
Tasha helped us realize our vision for our wedding flowers and they were absolutely beautiful! We only did ceremony flowers and personals - no reception flowers.
Overall a wonderful experience. Very collaborative process from start to finish. They were invested in truly understanding and executing my vision for the wedding florals. The flow...
ers were absolutely beautiful and even better than I'd even envisioned them. Also communicative throughout the process even about just minor changes. Showed up on time day of and setup everything as promised. Will definitely be using them for future floral needs. Highly recommended.
I thought I was safe choosing a florist that has received the highest awards in the past few years but boy was I wrong!! Luckily, I'm easy going so I didn't freak out too bad when ...
my mom told me right before I was about to walk down the aisle that the flowers weren't there!!! After the wedding, we received a full refund and the owner's explanation was that she wrote down the wrong date!! I was shocked! I could not believe that they never brought our flowers and then said they just wrote down the wrong date like it wasn't a big deal. I never even received an apology.
She is creative and affordable.;She added a lot of pink flowers to our cake and centerpieces. Our colors were blue and purple. I don't know why she added the pink flowers. I had...
to pick the pink flowers off of our cake so that it didn't clash with the rest of the decor.
