Heavenly Gourmet Catering

and those with dietary restrictions. Their staff was very professional and make sure everyone had what they needed. It was the easiest process, and we couldn't be more happy with how it all came together!

staff was so friendly. We had a personal staff member on hand who ensured we were saved cocktail hour food, cake, mac and cheese, and got served first. The rest of the staff worked quickly and effortlessly. Such a great company to have as a caterer and would definitely hire again!

mix topped with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and a champagne vinaigrette for our starter, pesto chicken topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and a balsamic reduction for our main, and homemade feta basil mashed potatoes with a sautéed vegetable medley and bread for our sides. We had around 250 guests and didn’t have any issues. We did buffet style and the service was quick! Prior to our wedding, the Heavenly Gourmet team was very responsive and helpful in planning our menu. The tastings we did were all delicious! I recommend Heavenly Gourmet for any catering event!

from Heavenly Gourmet's crew! Easy to work with and worth every penny! They even packed up a meal for the Groom and I afterwards!! The crew was gracious with service, quick with clean up and performed food storage with left overs. I highly recommend Heavenly Gourmet and will use the for other events in the future!

nd. We had the stuffed chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our guests loved it. We were so happy we got to have the left overs to eat later in the week.

nd they helped guide us through a few issues we encountered. I loved their food and so did our guests, I would definitely recommend them to others!

’t imagine us having hired any other catering company for our event. Their name suits them well. Their presence there on our wedding day truly was heavenly.

as happy with everything. They helped me stay on task with the toast and cake cutting and the food was amazingly delicious. It was ten times better at the wedding than the tasting and the tasting was great. Their price is reasonable for the food and service they offer. I highly recommend them!

with the Heavenly stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies, and we got so many compliments on it! That poblano cream sauce is to die for! They also gave us a military discount (husband is USMC), and they threw in a free mac and cheese bar as a late night snack if we booked within 72 hours. I called them a few weeks before our event and asked about appetizers because I hadn't figured out what to do for cocktail hour yet. They only charged for the actual appetizers, not extra fees for extra people or anything, and they were passed appetizers. They bring multiple people, so you don't have to worry about a thing. They helped with the cake cutting, they cleaned up plates and cups during and after dinner, and they even helped with venue clean up at the end of the night! This company goes above and beyond for their clients! I would 1000% recommend this company for your catering needs! They were easy to get a hold of whenever I needed anything, they were there on time, and stayed late!

! We loved them and all the workers!

accommodating, we did our tasting and left so full we didn't eat the rest of the day! All of their food is delicious and they really have something for everyone! We also ended up getting their Bourbon Meatballs as an appetizer (it was between that and their friend Mac N Cheese Balls), they were a big hit with our guests and everyone messaged us saying how absolutely delicious the food was! Will recommend them to anyone who will listen!

mmodating to all of our requests leading up to the big day, and the delivery/setup team was incredibly punctual and professional, too. We received so many compliments from guests throughout the night on the food, with many going back to the buffet for seconds! In addition, the team went above and beyond their duties when it came to clean-up, not only sweeping/wiping down the entire prep kitchen, but also staying until the end of the event to assist us with tidying up. We definitely did not mind munching on these tasty leftovers in the days following our wedding!

We’re so happy to have heavenly gourmet for our wedding.

had no worries throughout the wedding. Everything flowed seamlessly. Caters we’re right on time with having food ready and came prepared. All of our guests raved about how good the food was. We were not disappointed!

e. They made up for the small mishaps on the day of the wedding. For cocktail hour we chose the fruit, cheese and bread option. We personally only ate a little bit when our coordinator took us a small plate during pictures. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any left after the cocktail hour and we didn’t receive any complaints. As for dinner, our guests loved the food. We had several people come up to us and mention how good the food was. We only had a few bites during dinner, and I could barely taste the food because of my nerves, but they did make us a couple of plates to take with us after the wedding. When I ate that for lunch the next day, it was extremely good and I knew what my guests were talking about. The pecan crusted chicken was a huge hit, mashed potatoes and vegetables were also cooked and seasoned amazingly. We have nothing but praise for the food and staff. They were very friendly and helpful, and easily adjusted when toasts and cake cutting time changes were made. Their service was fantastic. We highly recommend them.

d family members asking me if I had leftovers to share the day after my wedding. Great food and great staff. I definitely recommend.

icious the food was even the vegetarian option which my vegetarian friends were pleasantly surprised! The late night snack of Hot Cheetos with cheese was a huge hit as well and people are still talking about it a week later.

s the attention to detail. Our food was fantastic...both in taste & presentation. Everything was served to our guests on time! Heavenly Gourmet also did all of our flowers & centerpieces & they exceeded our expectations! The outdoor space & the indoor reception were beautifully decorated! I can not recommend them enough! A special thanks to Perla & Julie, a true pleasure to work with!

ng day everything went smooth and they just perfect for us. I would recommend them to anyone. We had their Heavenly chicken and have heard nothing but that everyone loved it that attended. Also the mac and cheese bar was amazing as a late night snack.

ght snack was a hit! All the staff were friendly and so helpful! I’m so glad they were recommended to me by a friend!

!

the way to the wedding, they had consistent communication. They went into detail about their menu and what they offered. Their staff on the day of the wedding was amazing. I had multiple people come up to me after the wedding raving how good the food was.

very special. Heavenly Gourmet, especially Loretta, made us feel like family. When we did our food tasting it was like being in a friend’s home trying food. The staff was absolutely amazing the day of our wedding. They were very attentive and consistently made sure our night went well. If we had any questions they were quick and happy to assist us. Service was effortless for us and our guests. The food was on another level. Our guests are still taking about the food Heavenly Gourmet served. Me and my husband loved the food when we first tried it, and were so excited to share the same great food with our guests. If we ever need catering again, even if it just something small, Heavenly gourmet will be our go to!

they were able to fit us in for a tasting. The food was delicious, so we definitely booked them for the event. It didn't appear that the actual event went as smoothly regarding the waiting staff. Some guests were without beverages throughout the course of the dinner. Also, we never received our late night snack of chips & salsa. It wasn't something we paid for, but just something we noticed that was overlooked. Overall, we were very pleased with our food and with Heavenly Gourmet for our caterer.

fessionals and will walk you thru the entire process starting with a taste testing and ending with a late-night snack. We choose the heavenly stuffed chicken topped with poblano cream sauce (YUM!), served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans, yeast rolls and house salad. The cherry on top was the mac & cheese bar setup for our late-night snack. They managed our dinner, cake cutting and clean up… no fuss & no mess. With an unbeatable price and super responsive staff, we know we picked the best. Thanks for a heavenly evening!

hot and fresh. We had brisket, Mac and cheese, beans and cornbread and everyone kept complementing us on how great the food was. Another wonderful thing was that we had street tacos for our midnight snack and they have that to us complementary because we had paid in full a couple months before our wedding. The servers were so sweet and they boxed all the extras and even our cake for us at the end of the night, definitely always going to recommend Heavenly Gourmet for any other events in the future!

he pecan crusted chicken because it literally is the best tasting thing ever. Their staff is so organized, and so on point, they never missed a beat. Adam and I ate in a private area in another room and they had our food, and drinks all waiting for us. The guests raved about how good everything was AND THEIR DESSERTS WERE AMAZING!! We got at least 4 different ones to make a dessert bar. We also got the late night tacos which everyone was so happy about. When our wedding was over they packed up the leftovers neatly, as well as our cake, and even made us a to-go box for later in the night. HG is like everyone's dream mom and grandma who just want to make sure you're happy, stress free, and FED.

e wedding. The HG team made sure we were taken care of wonderfully and that we never wanted or needed anything all night. I was so impressed with the quality and the service. Thank you so much Heavenly Gourmet team!!! We loved having you as part of our special day.

ss. At our wedding and after, everyone was and is raving about the delicious food. If you’re looking for a friendly caterer who goes above and beyond, Heavenly Gourmet is the company for you.

! I would book them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Loretta and head lead Mary Kay for going above and beyond for us on our wedding day.

ofessional and responsive. They were a dream to work with. Some perks with HG include waived cake cutting fee, free iced tea and water, and because we hired their team right away, we got a late night snack (s'mores) for free. We had them cater our wedding and also hired their bartending staff. We highly recommend HG to anyone for any event.

s/changes we had to make. We had a plated service so we also used them for the place settings and linens. They had lots of options to choose from and we were able to mix and match items to suit the bride and groom. They provided an ample amount of wait staff to serve hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and dinner at the reception. This worked out nicely as everyone was able to sit down and enjoy dinner at the same time. The staff were all very professional and even served the wedding cake after it was cut. The groom's mother also used this vendor for the catered rehearsal dinner as well. However, that experience wasn't as smooth. The food itself was great, but the vendor representative, not so much. She was snarky at times and even though given plenty of notice ahead of time, she absolutely refused to change the delivery address, despite the fact that the new location was closer to Heavenly Gourmet and required less travel for the delivery person. They also wanted to charge $300-350 extra for traveling less than 3 miles "outside" of their delivery zone. The upcharge for the travel wasn't the problem, it was the excessive amount being charged for such a short distance that was the issue.

d a greek salad. It was so good, I had so many guests asking me where the food was catered from and received so many compliments on it. Not only were they good, but also affordable, we even got a free salad upgrade for booking in the first 24 hours after our tasting. I would recommend them to anyone needing catering services. (:

l with. Would highly recommend for the San Antonio area!

erved hot and the portions were more than expected. Highly recommend if your looking for a caterer

asy to work with. We got the pecan crusted chicken and the veggie pasta which everyone RAVED over. We also got the street taco midnight snack, which were also SO good. I had completely forgotten we ordered the tacos so when they came out it was an awesome surprise. Prices were so affordable and the experience was perfect! Thank you so much Heavenly Gourmet.

n smoothly day of. The food was delicious and I loved that their pricing is so inclusive. We even got a “late night snack” served for our guests for free! They were very responsive via email or phone anytime I had a question. My only critique is that the process for giving final numbers is a little unorganized, but in the grand scheme, this detail really didn’t matter. I would recommend heavenly gourmet to any other bride!

one!

ons. Many available and affordable options. Our daughters wedding was a huge success because of heavenly gourmet catering The guests are still raving about the food and how can we get recipes !!! The wedding was Dec 18 and people are still talking about the good food!! I definitely recommend heavenly gourmet for any event.

uge hit to upgrade the salad! Also heavenly gourmet was fantastic to work with!

al chief and is super picky when it comes to food. He loves everything on their menu. We decided to go with a chicken pasta dish. The noodles were cooked just right, the sauce it very flavorful, and the chicken wasn't dry at all. Everyone at the wedding had wonderful things to say about it. They do a kid's menu for the little ones if you want, which as a mom of 4 is helpful. When you first work with the staff about putting together a menu and tasting, they are sweet and helpful. Not pushy like some people can be. And we you make the decision to book with them you really do become part of the Heavenly family not just an account. I could go on forever with how much I love them! Thank you Heavenly for making our wedding day and whole experience something we will never forget.

from Perla and the office team to the servers on site were kind, professional, and friendly. The food is delicious and the service is excellent—all for a great price too. We would definitely recommend Heavenly Gourmet for any event where you need catering.

sage skewer were phenomenal! The only thing that was a hiccup was that they had told me the s’mores bar would be outside and that there would be multiple stations with the flames for cooking our s’mores. Just be sure you understand the fine print of things and fully understand - I should’ve asked!
