I highly recommend Heather Roth Fine Art photography. She took my son's engagement and wedding pictures and I am very impressed on how she captured their big day. The pictures are ...
amazing and it is so hard picking out how many 8x10's I want.
If you want a professional photographer who takes amazing photo's please call Heather Roth. You will not be disappointed.

t as we wanted for the big day. She is so easy to take pictures with. The pictures we got were AMAZING! Everyone we have shown them to says they are the best wedding pictures they have EVER seen and I completely agree. I can't wait to continue to use Heather in the future for all of our picture needs!!
Hiring Heather was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When we first started the interview process for photographers, we were blown away with Heather. Her portfolio ...
is absolutely stunning, but more than that, we were so impressed that she actually asked us what we wanted. I know it sounds like such an obvious aspect to hiring a photographer, but she was the only one to do it out of the numerous companies we talked to. She brought out albums and asked specifically which pictures we liked, why we liked them, and what aspects we wanted to remember from the day. For example, my husband and I didn't really care if we had a ton of pictures of the bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done, and so Heather focused her time and energy on getting the pictures that we wanted instead. Also, she asked about us as a couple. She wanted to know how we met, how we got engaged, and what we love about each other. It became very clear very early on that she cared about us as more than just clients, she cared about us as people and wanted to give us exactly what we wanted.
She was also so accommodating! We wanted our engagement pictures at my family's farm two hours away, and she didn't hesitate to say that she was willing to drive out there one day for our pictures. Even during the day of the wedding, she was asking how everyone was, if she could help with anything, and was so lovely to every single person. She carried herself with grace, and professionalism. We have heard from every person who was in contact with her during the wedding how wonderful, funny, nice, and just overall amazing she was.
The biggest blessing of working with Heather, however, is that she doesn't over-direct everyone. She will give direction, but it was barely anything. Some shots were posed, mostly for myself and my husband, but it was only where we should look or put our hands, etc. and they turned out beautiful! She is the expert on what will look good, so we had no problem following her directions. Every photographer will do some stylized pictures of the bride and groom, that is unavoidable, but she never ordered us to do anything. They were suggestions of what she thought would look beautiful but we knew we could veto anything she said. But the posed shots were probably 30% of all the pictures. Mostly, she would ask all the bridesmaids to get together, for example, and that was the extent of her directions. She never told anyone where to stand, who to stand with, where to position their head, but let us naturally come together and pose. The pictures are still elegant but you can tell we are relaxed and enjoying ourselves. You can visibly see the love, laughter, and joy in every person's face and stance and I genuinely believe that is because Heather let us be us.
I cannot recommend Heather more. We loved her, and will continue to use her for everything!
I actually worked with Heather for a boudoir photo shoot and album as part of the wedding day gift for my groom.
If you haven't yet considered doing this, start now. And if you ar...
e already considering doing this for your husband-to-be (or just for yourself :-) ), you will not be in better hands than Heather.
In what can be a very nerve-wracking, vulnerable experience, Heather's warmth, humor, kindness and expert eye will ensure you not only relax, but have fun. I was constantly laughing.
And that doesn't even begin to describe the final product. My husband was blown away by the album on the morning of our wedding. Later-on, he told me that it was really the professional quality of the photos that made his jaw drop.
I absolutely adored working with Heather and completely trusted her throughout the process. No matter what time in your life you book Heather to capture, I have no doubt you will adore her as well and be blown away by the photos she captures.
Working with Heather Roth for our engagement and wedding photography was one of the easiest decisions we made, with better results than we could have ever wished for!! Heather is...
the whole package: PROFESSIONAL, responsive, lovely, sweet, original, funny, with loads of class. She made us feel comfortable and so extremely special, during every last e-mail, meeting, and event. We are so fortunate to have such beautiful keepsakes from some of the most precious moments of our life. Can't wait for future opportunities to work with Heather!
Heather Roth Fine Art Photography provided us with the most beautiful photographs of our wedding day! Heather and her husband/assistant make a great team, and they were amazing at ...
directing our families and bridal party quickly and efficiently, without being snappy. Heather was also wonderful to work with early on in the planning process - as soon as we reached out to her, she called to help work out a day-of timeline. I know that if we hadn't had Heather to help us gauge how long certain agenda items would take, we would have been rushed and frantic on our big day! But thanks to Heather, everything went off without a hitch, and the effortless, peaceful, fun vibe of the day is captured beautifully in our photos. We'll cherish our photos forever. Thank you, Heather Roth Fine Art Photography!
Heather is a top notch photographer. She is a hardworking woman who takes great pride in what she does. She has an amazing ability to command attention without being pushy, and I...
truly appreciated the efficiency with which she is able to complete the job. Despite this efficiency, she somehow still manages to achieve the highest level of artistic quality in the finished product. Highly recommended!
Heather is a real winner. She is organized, assertive (which you need in a wedding photographer!), professional and a total sweetheart. I loved working with her & so did my groom. ...
She is great with all types of people which is much appreciated during a wedding weekend. From an artistic point of view, she kills it. She is willing to take risks and pushes herself creatively. I appreciate someone who is great at their craft but is always trying to be even better. I absolutely adore my images (film + digital!) and our experience together. Heather is a gift to St. Louis, and I look forward to her being our life photographer.
I cannot say enough about Heather Roth Fine Art Photography. We used Heather Roth for both our engagement photos and wedding day. She is truly an artist. The composition, style an...
d quality of her photos are unparalleled. I could go on and on about the quality of her photos, but I encourage you to go to her website and see her artistic prowess with your own two eyes.
Let me say a few things about Heather..
From the moment you meet Heather, you'll be blown away by her warmth and kindness. Her friendly, laid back style is so refreshing. As someone who is not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, it was invaluable to have a photographer like Heather. She has an uncanny ability of making even the most nervous of subjects relax.
Her easy-going nature does not stop her from being shockingly efficient and in control. She organized our families and the wedding party quickly, calmly and with a smile on her face (we gave her quite the challenge with a rambunctious, 20 person, wedding party). At the end of the day we were ahead of schedule!
It would be remiss not to mention Heather's fabulous husband, Ryan. He was the second photographer on our wedding day. Together they are a well-oiled machine and extremely fun to work with. After a day spent with them, you leave wishing that you were lifelong friends.
Heather took the time to get to know my fiancé and I. She understood the "feel" we wanted for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. In fact, she actually picked the locations for all of our photos, and NAILED it. The locations were unexpected and absolutely perfect. Because of Heather, Chris and I have a priceless collection of photos that brilliantly captured our big day. We cannot wait to use Heather again!
A wedding day photographer is someone you are going to spend one of the most exciting days of your life with. I am so glad I spent mine with Heather Roth. Heather is so sweet and a...
joy to be around. Not only did she take amazing photos, but her infectious personality kept everyone smiling throughout the day! (I have the photos to prove it!) Thanks again, Heather!

alked to other brides or girls who have been in other weddings who said the photographer was not great at directing the bridal party, didn't get the photos they wanted or were just kind of dull and boring to work with, but Heather is NONE of these things! She knows exactly what she wants and what will look fantastic, while still being fun and flexible to what the bride/groom want! While she may not be the cheapest photographer in the St. Louis area, she is ABSOLUTELY worth it because who doesn't want AMAZING pictures to remember their big day by!!

era and not only captured the big moments but every detail that created the look and feel of the day. We can't thank her enough and these photos will be something we look back on for years to come.

ch other and make the wedding day easier. Heather truly is an expert. Every single on of her pictures comes out beautifully! The wedding day was so easy with Heather. She told us exactly where we needed to go and what we needed to do. I think my favorite thing about Heather is the fact that she is so fun! She always had us laughing and giggling. She really became a part of our family through this whole process. I cannot wait to continue to use Heather for baby pictures, family pictures, and everything else! I would absolutely recommend Heather as a photographer, she is the best in the business!
Where do I even begin when describing my husband’s and my experience with Heather? She is absolutely amazing at what she does! We would recommend her to anyone and everyone if we...
could. She has an amazing talent when it comes to photography. Her knack for always being able to find the perfect lighting makes your photographs come to life. Our time with her always seemed to fly, it was that much fun. She has an ease that makes you feel so comfortable around her, even if you don’t feel like you are the photogenic type. She also offered us great tips and tricks in order to better our engagement shoot. From there, we were able to incorporate all of those little details into our wedding day shoot!
Heather also has impeccable taste. Whether it comes forth in her photographs or her own personal style, this lady has it all! She is one girl I’d like to take some fashion tips from or have host a party for me.
Not only was Heather wonderful to work with as a photographer but a great person all around. She seems to become your friend and a part of your life. While there is obviously a business relationship between you and your photographer, Heather is always concerned with how things are going in your day-to-day life. She is extremely nice, genuine and willing to help with any odd questions you might have along your wedding planning journey. She was so incredibly helpful and kind to us during the entire process. We could not have asked for someone better.
Without a doubt, we will most definitely continue to use Heather Roth Photography in the future for any of our photography needs in our new journey together as husband and wife.

I highly recommend Heather and cannot say enough great things about her. Heather was so amazing to work with. From day one, she made me and my husband feel comfortable. She was a...
lways available when we called and emailed with silly questions. Heather has so much energy and gets so excited that she immediately puts you at ease. By getting us to relax and have fun, she was able to take some of the best genuine and natural shots I’ve ever seen. She has an amazing way about her that makes you feel comfortable. She is truly great at her craft and you can see that in her work. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their big day.
After you set a date, you should hire your photographer. The best ones are usually booked up to a year in advance, so as you research venues, simultaneously research photographers....
And don't just hire a photographer; invest in one. If you're able to work with Heather, you won't regret it. My wedding photos are a beautiful blend of art and portraits; they are stunning keepsakes that I can have in my family forever.
Heather is a spectacular artist. She not only captured traditional/classic ceremony and family photos (which was important to me), but she also captured candid emotion, which is so, so crucial in wedding photos. It's Heather who is there to catch glances, smiles, moments of grace; all the perfect moments with the perfect lighting. When I look at my wedding photos, the same emotions I felt that day are triggered. Not every photographer can do that.
Working with Heather is a breeze and a treat. I don't like to overcrowd and micromanage vendors. I gave Heather creative room, and she went above and beyond what I expected. Heather isn't the type of photographer that needs a daunting list of must-take photos from Pinterest. Heather knows what today's bride wants AND knows what brides don't know they want. Every single candid photo, from the ceremony to the cake cutting to the dance floor, I'll appreciate and cherish for years to come.
Bottom line: Heather pays impeccable attention to detail and it shows through her work. If you're serious about your wedding photos, then work with Heather. No one else's art will be able to evoke the same joy you and your husband experienced that day.
Thank you, Heather!
I found Heather almost immediately after we were engaged and knew that I really wanted her to photograph our wedding ... and thank goodness we found her. We just recently received...
our wedding pictures and THEY ARE STUNNING. Trust me, after the flowers have died, the cake is long gone, and your dress is all boxed up, your pictures are the gateway back into that wonderful time, and all the love and joy you felt on your wedding day - so make sure you find a photographer that you trust and believe in! I think Heather's work speaks for itself; if you like what you see on her website and blog, you will not be disappointed in real life. But what may not be quite as evident is how wonderful it is to work with Heather and her team, from your initial consultation until the pictures are complete. Heather is casual and totally laid back (and possibly a ninja – we barely noticed that pictures were being taken most of the time). She also has all these great ways to make you feel comfortable being lovey-dovey in front of the camera (something that was not natural for me and the Hubs). Truthfully, some of our best pictures came from Heather's gentle encouragement to loosen up! Most of all, Heather let us be us, which allowed her to capture some real sweet stuff and the genuine emotion/love/happiness/joy of the day. I wish you all good luck in your search for the perfect photographer, but the truth is, you have found the best. We love our pictures so much and cannot imagine anyone else but Heather being with us for our wedding!!
Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions you have to make during the planning process. It was really overwhelming for us at first when we saw how many opt...
ions we had. Luckily, we had an amazing wedding planner who narrowed our options down to a few for us to meet with. Within the first 30 seconds of meeting Heather, we knew she was the one for us! She has such a warm, welcoming, calming personality. She immediately offered us champagne (that sold me!) and then wanted to hear all the details of our story and engagement. She made us feel very comfortable – which is something we felt throughout the entire process with her. She is so personal and easy to work with. I honestly can’t imagine working with anyone else. She was the perfect fit for us. Now, to her work – unbelievable. She did an incredible job at capturing all the important moments and emotions from our wedding day. We couldn’t be happier with her work! I told her when she left the wedding that I wish I could get married again (to the same guy, obviously) so I could work with her again! Ha! I could go on and on, but the point is, she is the BEST photographer around. Hope that she's available on your date and then hire her! You won’t regret it.
Making choices during the wedding planning process can be hard. Heather Roth Photography makes selecting a photographer easy. From the moment we sat down with her during our initia...
l meeting, she disarmed us with her warm personality and won us over as she grew in visible excitement while we recounted our engagement story and the vision we had for our wedding day. Her ability to not just capture an image, but to tell your love story through photos is a skill not easily found but incredible to see. Both Heather and Ryan have a true gift for finding those special moments--a glance, a kiss, a simple embrace--that can transport you back to that place and remind you all over again why you fell in love.
We were fortunate enough to have them shoot our engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. Despite the awkwardness and nerves inherent in being in front of a camera together for the first time, Heather expertly guided us through the process and helped us focus on each other and our loved ones. The results are some really special photos of our closest friends and family interacting with us on the best day of our lives. Your hardest choice will be selecting which photos to include in your album as you look through the gallery way more times than you are willing to admit.
I cannot say enough good things about Heather. Hiring her was the best money we spent on our wedding. We had our engagement photo shoot with her and after seeing those photos knew ...
that we HAD to have her for our wedding. Our photos were natural, flattering, unique. Our wedding party was huge (22 people in total). It was no small task to manage this large, boisterous group. Heather not only got through our photos quickly, but also had the entire group in love with her by the end of the day! My biggest take away - when you hire a vendor for your wedding, you want to be sure they do excellent work. But you also need to remember you will be spending a large portion of this very special day with your vendor. It was very important to me that I enjoyed being around all of our wedding vendors. Heather was all of the above. I would hire her over and over and over again.
My wife and I are picky and really know what we want... something that all of our vendors realized quickly. Heather may not have felt the stress though because she was perfect fro...
m day 1. He photos are truly art. She isn't just a photographer with an expensive camera; she knows how to use it and takes some of the most gorgeous photos we have ever seen. We met, had champagne, shared an incredible conversation, and practically signed up right away. Here are the particulars:
-She has an incredible personality and made my wife and me feel so comfortable... I'm not one who is typically comfortable sharing incredibly intimate moments and Heather practically became part of the family during our first shoot.
-She is fast, like really fast, and our photo shoots were so enjoyable...
-She scouted out spots for our wedding photos and basically took the reigns during that time... again, shooting fast (the sun was quickly setting) and making us and our friends all very comfortable
-She is such an amazing photographer that she gets to train others (one of her second shooters was training)
-She has a lovely, really attractive husband who also works at times as her second shooter. He made sure I didn't look like a dork.
-She made our family happy!
-She made our family happy... (that wasn't a typo)
Overall, we had an incredible experience with Heather and her team. If you're looking for an incredible experience and a photographer who will, quite simply, not let you down, go with Heather Roth. She really is lovely and took great photos for my wife and me.

ney Heather worked with us on scheduling, locations, and answered my many questions. When the Big Day finally came it really was the wedding of our dreams, Heather and Ryan captured all of it, plus some! The pictures are GORGEOUS and really capture how we were feeling. Heather and Ryan are so creative they made the day a blast for us, our family and friends.
Heather was wonderful to work with. In addition to providing truly stunning photography, she was a tremendous source of information and guidance throughout the planning process. ...
On our wedding day, Heather and her husband were better than we could have hoped for: They scouted locations for many of the pictures beforehand and gave us plenty of advice and pointers throughout the day.
I can't say enough good things about Heather: She was a big reason our wedding went so smoothly and we're incredibly grateful to her for it--and, of course, the pictures are perfect.
Heather was so wonderful to work with. She's a true professional and you can see that in her work. But just as important, she's turned into a good friend throughout this process....
I highly recommend her and can't say enough about her and her talents. From day one, she made me feel like the only bride she was working with. The first meeting with Heather she displayed her attention to detail with a champange greeting and custom straws. I don't think I'll ever forget that. Heather also catptured all of the moments in photos that I'd want to keep with me the rest of my life. This was one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding - besides choosing my husband. :) Sincerely, Lisa

the process so easy on him that we were both able to relax and enjoy ourselves both during our engagement session and on our wedding day! I just got my wedding pictures back and they brought tears to my eyes because I could feel all of the happiness from the day - that's how good Heather is! As I said in my title - Love, love, love!

ith her, I knew she was a perfect fit. Heather was so amazing to work with. She was easy to be around and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I did all of the wedding planning myself and was grateful she was there to offer advise when I needed it. A photographer plays a huge part of your wedding day and you want to be with someone who is organized and can keep it together and Heather was just that. Our photos turned out beautiful! I look forward to having Heather photograph us in the future as we start our lives together.
I met Heather and didn't meet any other photographer...I knew she'd do a great job. We did our engagement session and were at instant ease with her. We loved the results and couldn...
't wait for the wedding! I've been in multiple weddings where the photographer can be an absolute nightmare. Not Heather (and her husband, Ryan), they were so easy to work with and accommodating. My entire wedding party and family loved her. She worked well with all the little kiddos. We, again, got great results and loved all our photos. If only our wedding album could be 50 pages long :)
Heather came recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I am so happy that we got to use her for our wedding! She has the most amazing pictures and she is definitely the best in ...
St. Louis! The quality of her albums are amazing too. On the day of the wedding, she was very organized and on time! We were able to get all of the pictures we wanted and more. She also picked out two great spots since I wasn't really sure of where I wanted to go. I haven't seen my pictures yet, but I'm sure they will be beautiful! Heather is worth every penny!!

laxed and did some things last minute, but Heather took it all in stride and gave us the most beautiful pictures from both our engagement and wedding. She made my husband and I feel comfortable during the photo shoots, which is not a comfortable thing really with cameras around you! She has tremendous creative vision that I could not even dream of possessing. Where I saw an empty field, she saw an opportunity to take one of the best photos of my life. As I look back on all of the photos, it is like a timeline through the wedding. She captured every little detail and I feel like I am there again. While not everything went as planned on my wedding day, things were better than perfect with Heather. If I had to do it all over again, I would not choose some of the same vendors again. But Heather would be on the top of my list to use again and again! I would highly recommend her to any couples looking for a wedding photographer. She will get to know you and make you feel at ease on the best day of your life!!

ows how to bring out the best in you. My fiance and I were a little nervous at the engagement shoot, but she quickly put us at ease and gave us great direction. When we got our photos back, we were thrilled about how amazing they were. We couldn't believe how good she made us look! She really is incredibly talented. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful photos from our wedding day. She got all of the important details and more, and everyone at the wedding loved her. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

with. She was always available when we called and emailed with silly questions and she was very easy-going for our photo shoots. She gave us just enough direction to make us feel like we knew what to do (since we are SO not models) but not so much that we felt like we were posing for school pictures. At the wedding she and Ryan were both very on time, easy to work with, and blended into the back-ground. They had a system down and kept everyone moving along to make sure we got all the pictures taken that day. They communicated enough on the wedding day to make sure we were getting the pictures we wanted, but then left us alone to visit with our guests. We are SO happy with all of our engagement pictures and so are our parents. We have not seen the wedding pictures yet but are looking forward to it - I have every confidence they will be just as amazing.
Heather is so friendly and easy going and really made the whole experience a lot of fun. The quality and quantity of the photographs was amazing. It was really hard to narrow down ...
a favorite. Especially during the engagement session, she really helped us bring out our best smiles and moments when we weren't super comfortable being photographed. I said from the beginning that I would rather pay more for photography and know for sure that I'm getting the best, and we definitely got the best from Heather.

Our wedding was on June 2, 2012 and Heather and Ryan were the greatest people I could have ever asked for to work with on our wedding day. From the minute I first met with Heather...
I knew it was going to be a good match! She wasn't offended when I specifically asked to not take pictures which I thought were lame and overdone wedding poses and she didn't try and convince me of anything that I didn't want. She also kept our wedding party in line, which we had 2 members who are rather on the obnoxious side but Heather handled them accordingly, which was great because I didn't want to deal with that. I can't say enough good things about Heather and her photography, far and away the best wedding photos I have seen, our wedding photos had an artistic element to them that I think most other St. Louis photographers don't even know how to produce. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Our engagement photos were amazing too, another instance when I told her all the pictures and poses I didn't want and once again she listened to me and didn't seem offended that I didn't want certain poses for the pictures. I would recommend Heather and Ryan to anyone who asked about wedding photographers, truly the best in St. Louis! So happy that they were there to capture our wedding day!

Dear Bride - You can stop looking. Really, I'm not kidding. This is one decision that can be easy for you. Heather's photos speak for thems...
elves, but the reason she is so amazing is because she takes a vested interest in her clients. You're not one in a million, you're one of her brides and she'll care about all of the little details & hard work you've put into your wedding.
Heather - thank you for our beautiful photos and I'll be calling you to do our baby pictures when that time comes too :)

We just had our engagement pictures with Heather. What a fun experience! We're so pleased with how they turned out that I have zero worries about our wedding day photos. Book her if she's available on your date! You won't be sorry :)

nce extremely easy and pleasant but she was great to work with. She was very upfront with what we should expect the day of and was very on point with everything, and we really appricated the fact that she was so calm and collected, especially since our bridal party was bilingual and we had horrible weather thoughout the day. It was awesome that she was willing to stand in the rain to get us some beatiful shots. If your looking for someone who is easy to work with and will not leave you disappointed Heathers your girl. She captured moments of our day that we will now cherish forever!!!

k so much. My wedding wasn't exactly typical (ceremony was in a museum instead of a church, etc.) so I definitely wanted a photographer who would fit the style & feeling we were going for. The quality of her work is definitely an A+. Price wise, I would say she is right in the middle. Definitely not cheap but she is also not going to charge you an insane amount like some of the other wedding photographers out there. My parents and I were looking for someone reasonably priced because having a videographer was also very important to me, and those are not cheap. In order for us to be able to afford to do both, I wanted a photographer like Heather who is amazing at her job but also not overly expensive. I would definitely recommend her to any future brides still looking for their wedding photographer.
It has been two years since my wonderful wedding day, and the pictures still make me feel so happy and emotional. Heather captured our wedding memories in such a unique and stylis...
h way that I know definately no other photographer will ever do and she and Ryan are going to be our lifelong photographers. Out of so much planning and details involved in planning our wedding, Heather was by far the best decision I made (besides saying yes to my husband).
I first met Heather at a bridal convention, in fact she was the ONLY photographer I met with in my search of all things bridal. I knew from the first flip of a page I wanted her a...
nd Ryan to be the ones to document my special day. Her personality is very easy going and sets a wonderful tone. She does a great job at making you and your significant other feel comfortable in front of the camera- she even surprised us with a bottle of bubbly at our engagement shoot! My wedding was just 3 months ago and I swear not a day goes by that I don't look at my pictures and smile. I am very happy that I listened to my gut and choose Heather to capture the memories that will last a lifetime.
I think most brides can relate to being nervous or anxious about the big day. I was no acception. I was very nervous! One of my favorite things about Heather is that not only is sh...
e amazing at pictures, but she calmed me down from the start! She never made me worry about anything including the weather :) We have amazing shots with umbrellas! I have heard terrible stories where the photographer bossed people around, did not let anyone else take pictures, and fought with the videographer. Well, needless to say, EVERYONE, including my videographer LOVED Heather. She was professional and so kind to everyone at my wedding. Her pictures are absolutely incredible. She has shots that I didn’t even realize she took. She was able to capture the moments that made my wedding unique. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of using Heather for my wedding day. We will defiantly use her for future memories to come!
I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Heather and her work. I wanted to have pictures that would reflect how special and memorable our day was. Heather gave us pictures...
