Studio associates Emily and Sara are often by my side and we are thrilled you've decided to check out our site and so hope you'll take your time on e you get there. You'll notice that we photograph lots of dogs and we love to capture couples out in the world even though we have a gorgeous natural light studio accented by cream city brick in Milwaukee's Third Ward. nd in a church venue, and who had availability on our date of course. From the start we were impressed by Heather’s organization, attention to detail, and patience with all of our many questions. We felt they understood what was most important about the day - and that photography is a means to capture the day, not a goal of the day itself. We also liked that they approach their work as a team, not just a single photographer who does it all. We appreciated Heather’s prompt communication and responsiveness and flexibility with creating a package that worked best for us, including additional time. We especially liked that an engagement session was included in the package at no additional cost so we’d have a chance to get to know Emily and get comfortable in front of the camera with her. On the day of, Emily and Matthew rolled with everything - my own nerves about getting to the church on time, a priest who was very strict about where they could/could not shoot, down to a miscommunication with where the shuttle was dropping us off for photos, which turned out to be the happiest accident. Their photography with Emily’s direction and Heather’s support behind the scenes tells such a vivid and beautiful story of our day. Emily’s ability to capture little details and moments is really something that shines through in our photos. It was so great to have Matthew with the guys and as a second shooter capturing everything from a different perspective, like the choir loft of our church. We were also impressed with the turnaround time for a preview and for our complete gallery. We appreciate that we have full access to the gallery and can print wherever we like, although guests who have ordered photos from the studio report they arrived quickly and are wonderful quality. Excellent photography is expensive - Heather and her team are well aware that it’s a big investment and that shone through in the great care they took with our wedding. We would happily work with them in the future and highly, highly recommend them to other couples.

Heather flew out to see us in Minneapolis to shoot our engagement photos, which turned out gorgeous. She was a rock star following us around in 100-degree weather and always keeping a smile on her face (and helping us do the same). Then - on the day of - she and her co-photographer (Sarah) worked beautifully with us and our families. They were flexible when the ceremony ran late, and knew how to work with the early sunset of our January wedding. Heather and Sarah were also very knowledgeable about the Pritzlaff building (where we held the reception), were able to take some really creative shots with us, and knew how to photograph the large space.
We just saw our "sneak peek" photos (just DAYS after the wedding!), and we were floored. Heather and Sarah captured the day perfectly, and caught so many significant moments with grace and beauty.

For me, I would hire nobody other than Heather. I trusted her to not only take beautiful photographs (which she did) but also keep us all on schedule and relaxed. She is a creative problem-solver and is flexible enough to react to the unknowns of the wedding day gracefully.
And of course, you can expect the most gorgeous photographs from her! She has an attention to detail like no other, and it was capturing all the special details of our day that was so important to me. While we did end up spending more than we originally budgeted for photography, I can tell you her services are well-worth it! The last thing you want to do is end up with sub-par photos from your day or the photographer missing a very important shot, and with Heather, I knew that would never happen. She was worth the extra money to feel totally at ease the day of that she would do her job amazingly! And she did! TRUST ME, YOU WANT TO HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER! Book her early, she fills up quickly!

feeling I was having at the time, what my best friend and I were laughing about when I put my dress on, what my sister said in her speech. She captured the emotion and story of our wedding day, and the story of our relationship, so wonderfully. She gave us images we will cherish for a lifetime and art which will hang in our house for many years. Heather puts her artistry and heart into each image.
Heather was wonderful to work with throughout our planning process. She was the very first vendor we chose, and she helped us throughout our planning. She was flexible and responsive. My husband was a little less than enthusiastic about doing engagement photos, and he felt immediately comfortable with Heather (and loves our engagement photos!). She helped make our engagement fun and reduced our stress. On our wedding day, she (and her assistants) prioritized the shots that were important to me, got great photographs I didn't even know she was taking, and added to the enjoyment of our day. She posted a preview of our photos the Monday after our wedding, and got us the complete, edited disc less than a month after the wedding.
I would be remiss if I did not add a little something about the albums Heather creates. I was unsure about working them into the budget, but ended up deciding to get a package which included an album and two parent albums. I am so very happy we made the choice to order albums. They are absolutely gorgeous- and I certainly could not have done them myself online! Heather did an incredible job putting together gorgeous albums which tell the story of our day. She let me be as involved as I wanted in picking the photos, but the final product was a result of her artistry and editing.
Working with Heather was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. I cannot recommend her enough to future brides and grooms.
