Heart of Gold DJs

nt, talked through event in detail, and delivered. Everything went very smoothly and we would definitely use DJ Jessie/Heart of Gold DJs again!

ving beautifully; her announcements were warm and perfectly timed. She also ran a scavenger hunt musical chairs game for our guests which was so much fun. When it came to the dance floor, she was phenomenal. We are big kpop and hiphop fans, and she worked with our playlists to blend both worlds seamlessly into a night that felt completely true to who we are as a couple. The dance floor energy never dipped and it was memorable, fun, and exactly what we had hoped for. Hiring DJ Neamatode was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

s.' She was a great communicator, has killer taste, and made a seamless location pivot when rain came uninvited to our cocktail hour. She politely and professionally dodged one guest's enthusiastic request to hear the Electric Slide. Jordan read the room and knew when the open bar was hittin' just right for the Limp Bizkit to really land. But I promise she won't play Limp Bizkit at your wedding, unless that's your thing. Highly recommend DJ Jordan and Heart of Gold for any event. Thank you so much!

crushed it! We also had so much fun dancing, we had a huge family wedding and she was able to start the first half with family friendly songs and then get more wild as the night carried on. So grateful!

e also added on the DJ light package and we would definitely recommend it.

ng early and another logistics discussion closer to the wedding date. She asked for a playlist from us at the first one which we didn't get to her until after the 2nd meeting. Despite our procrastination, she nailed the music selection and understood our vibe completely. She also handled the logistics of our venue with ease. Would definitely recommend!

mony audio and music perfectly, and clipped/edited our processional songs, first dance, and parent dance songs exactly as requested. She was a joy and pleasure to work with, very organized and on top of all the details leading up to the day so we knew we could trust her on the day-of!

wing down our specific DJ selection because there are so many talented creatives!  We worked with DJ Jordan and were blown away with her fun energy and awesome music selections that perfectly complimented us! All of our guests LOVED the music and we had a blast dancing. She did a great job combining a lot of different genres, and nailed our ceremony- which was very very important to us. Great communication with the business and good vibes all around!  Jordan was the BEST! If you want your guests to have a spectacular dance party, or a more intimate curated moment, Heart of Gold can handle it all. So grateful I chose to work with y’all! Thank you for the best wedding ever!!

person to work with and made our evening truly unforgettable. She even helped us rearrange our timeline during the evening so that speeches flowed better. She helped us choose songs from different eras that our guests of all ages would like. Thank you Whit!!!

y kept the mix fun and funky and totally got our vision and vibe. People were having a blast and on the dance floor the entire time. They also did our ceremony AV and rolled with all the punches of a rainy day setup. Do yourself a favor and book DJ Ray!

ing country, EDM, early 2000s hip hop, and Hawaiian reggae. She was able to read the room perfectly when transitioning between different vibes, ensuring the music flowed seamlessly for all of our guests. A particularly special experience was starting open dancing with 70s music, which brought our parents and their friends straight to the dance floor. They were so excited to hear their music and it gave them a chance to join in the fun early in the night! Beyond the music, Eun Neam was professional with the logistics, setting up speakers for both the outdoor cocktail hour and the indoor reception. She also offered uplighting options, even though we did not need them for our specific setup. We highly recommend her for any couple looking for a DJ who can balance a mix of music tastes and keep the dance floor full. We highly recommend DJ Neamatode / Heart of Gold DJs for any wedding or events!

lot of freedom when it came to the music for cocktail hour and dinner, and I loved her selections. When it came to dancing, I had a highly curated playlist that I wanted her to stick to. Not only did Jessika play all the songs on my playlist, but she didn’t mind me checking in several times throughout the evening to make sure we were on track. She dealt with my controlling ways very well! We got lots of comments from guests that we loved her positive attitude and how much fun she was having behind the DJ booth! She also sent me a playlist after the wedding, so we can relive the dance floor any time we’d like!

t of our day.

s very professional and made the process very easy. Heart of Gold DJs can provide all the A/V equipment you could possibly need, which took a lot off of our plate. DJ Eun Neam was present and able to troubleshoot during our reception/dinner, and when the music started she did a fantastic job of reading the room and playing to the crowd.

feel at ease about the quick transition to a new DJ. She was an amazing emcee, read the room keeping everyone on the floor, and even took all my drunk bride requests quickly.  Highly recommend!!

ds.  Together, we created playlists for our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception.  Ray took our style of music and expanded on it with great suggestions and flow.  During the reception, Ray expertly read the room and even though we had a smaller wedding, there was never a lull in the event. Our friend sang our processional and first dance song and Ray worked one-on-one with her so that the levels were perfect. Also, our wedding took place in a remote, outdoor area of Big Sur where the venue had multiple levels for each part of the event.  Ray expertly set up speakers and controllers for each level so that the music was seamless throughout the night.  All of our guest commented on how great the music was and how Ray kept the energy up late into the night. Ray helped make our wedding unforgettable and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

re of 90s europop, 2000s pop punk and disney songs! She managed to include it all perfectly! My guests and I had so much fun that we didn't want to leave the dance floor!

We were so happy to have found someone who perfectly matched our music taste and could also get everyone out on the dance floor. So many guests mentioned how much they loved the music. Would highly recommend!

quartet for the ceremony and a live Brazilian band to kickoff the dancing. DJ Ray was not only accommodating of all of this, but so excited to work with us and incorporate all of the different musical vibes. And the party was amazing. The dance floor was never empty and only got more and more energetic as the night went on. We had a great time working with them and highly recommend!

t such a warm, fun energy and kept the vibe perfect. Our guests raved about her, and the dance floor was lively the entire night. Truly the best!

dible job the day of the wedding. We didn't give her many "must-plays," but she listened to our preferences so carefully, and it was reflected in the music all night. She seamlessly blended an indie-focused cocktail hour and dinner into a fantastic pop-focused dance party that kept our guests dancing the whole time. Book with DJ Jordan--she is the best!!!

ve always had a stellar experience. 10 out of 10! Thank you, Allison!

course has great taste in music. So many guests told us how good the music was; overall vibe was so well curated. She played all our must plays at the perfect time and also emceed the toasts perfectly. Working with the entire Heart of Gold DJ team for contracts and updates was also great: fast, respectful, and kind. Highly recommend!

way. Our guests had an absolute blast. One highlight: she played a remix of 1, 2 Step that we loved so much, my husband searched for it afterward and has had it on repeat ever since! We’re so grateful to DJ Christina for helping make our day so joyful, fun, and unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!

the start: we mentioned we love star wars and they were 100% on board, encouraging us to bring lightsabers and even had a mix of the cantina music ready to play. They rolled with our long and eclectic playlist requests, and got excited to hit all of our regional subgenres (hyphy to New Orleans bounce), knowing just what would get the dance floor going! We can’t recommend Ray enough, they made all of our dance floor dreams come to life and were so wonderful and fun to work with. If you want an epic wedding DJ who will make you feel so seen on your big night – hire Ray. We can’t imagine our celebration without them <3

the wedding was really important to us, and our dance floor was full the whole time! Thanks Eun Neam!

ctly on what music to play.

I would absolutely recommend Heart of Gold DJs and Jessika!

so knowledgeable about music and totally understood our style! In fact, my now-husband was confused about whether some of the songs were requests or if Allison is just a mind-reader! Thank you for being so cool and laid back! We loved having you guys to set the soundtrack for our special day and hope to cross paths again soon!!

meeting, Sami felt like someone we had been friends with forever, and all three of us had similar musical upbringings and histories. Their knowledge of all genres of music, and overall enthusiasm for blending different styles was so appreciated by my wife and I. We also really valued the time Sami took getting to know us as people and a couple; and enjoyed getting to know them and their background as well. It made the wedding day feel so familiar and at ease, which was important to us since we were having an intimate, 50-person destination wedding with just family and close friends. On our wedding day itself, Sami KILLED IT. We have been talking about the flawless job they did for months. now! They took all of the conversations we had during planning about likes/dislikes, our must play list, and combined that with their own knowledge and DJ style to make it the perfect night. Sami also made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything, and tailored the song choices to the energy of the dance floor effortlessly. My wife and I were also looking for someone that didn't have too "over the top" of an MC style, and Sami also rode that line perfectly. They were so natural when speaking to the crowd - matching the vibe of us and our guests seamlessly. Some of the musical moments of the night are still being talked about by us and our guests. There couldn't have been a better fit for our wedding day than Dj Sami. Additionally, my wife's best man performed a song at the reception - Sami was quick to offer their help when we let them know during the planning process that this was happening, and made sure the audio ran perfectly for that on the day as well! Speaking on Heart of Gold as a company, working with Allison to find and book the best DJ for our wedding was such an easy breezy overall experience. Never felt pushed to make a decision that didn't fit us, and was genuinely kind, efficient and communicative the whole time. We knew we would be in great hands from the very beginning, and would book with them over and over again. Don't even hesitate, there's no one better!!! Thank you Heart of Gold & DJ Sami! :)

nd professional and she helped us find the right DJ for our event. We worked with DJ Ray for our wedding this past November and Ray was INCREDIBLE. They put together the perfect playlists for our mingle, the dinner, and the party. And WOW our guests didn't stop dancing the ENTIRE night! I am bias (since it was my wedding) BUT many of our guests say that they haven't ever had as much fun and that is because Ray had a great base playlist but adapted to the vibes and read the room to put the right songs on to keep the party going. I would recommend Heart of Gold and DJ Ray any time! 10/10!

calls with Ray to discuss expectations and go over details and she was so easy to chat with and was very organized. We had some fun planning a Rave Hour at the end of our wedding and she let me pick the music for that which I appreciated. I will miss chatting with Ray and I highly recommend using Heart of Gold DJs for your event!

ed-out wedding songs) and she did a wonderful job of honoring our musical preferences while including music that appealed to our guests and got them on the dance floor. We received so many compliments from our guests! Allison was extremely professional and reliable (very on top of deadlines) and also down to earth and fun. We can't recommend her highly enough!

were going for, was so fun and easy to talk to, and super organized and on top of all the details. There were zero technical issues day of and so many of our guests of all ages complimented the music. Every song Jordan played in addition to our must play list perfectly fit us and the vibe of the wedding. I wish I had a reason to have Jordan play personal dance parties for me all the time because it was just that good! She also did a fabulous job as MC and keeping things on schedule. And last but not least she helped one of my biggest wedding dreams come true! I wanted a packed dance floor filled with all of my guests doing Chappel Roan’s HOTTOGO and she delivered! She taught all my guests the dance and got the most guests on the dance floor we had all night for the song! Jordan and Heart of Gold were excellent to work with and we’d recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

ept the energy high and the dance floor groovin all night with a fantastic mix of songs that felt just like us. Ray was professional and truly a joy to work with. They seamlessly blended our favorite tracks with their own recommendations and it just created the perfect vibe for our wedding day. If you’re looking for a DJ who is such a pleasure to work with and makes both your friends and Aunts, Uncles, etc happy, DJ Ray is it.

s about choosing a DJ because I really hate going to weddings with DJs that talking or try to joke around and turn it into their show. Jordan was the opposite. She kept the music going and the party alive the entire night. She really listened to what we wanted and gave us the party we wanted. Heart of Gold DJs was also super easy to work with- I cannot recommend strongly enough!

erally never missed a beat (!) in providing a fun atmosphere, all the vibes we had asked for and most of all, a very kind and positive presence. It was lovely and we highly recommend this DJ company.

the dance floor packed until the very end of the night. She was so easy to communicate with and asked thoughtful questions to ensure she understood the vibe we were going for. We are still getting compliments on the music from guests! DJ Jordan is THE BEST and we'd recommend her to anyone.

Eun Neam (DJ Neamatode, and I love the name) who was super chill and accessible when we talked about our vision, and asked us questions to help verbalize what we wanted. I didn't even know cake cutting songs existed as a concept (songs to cut the cake to) but now I can't think of that moment without hearing our ridiculous song choice in the background. I'm still waiting on the professional photos to be released, but rest assured there's a lot of photos and videos from my friends of them screaming along with our music on the dancefloor. We truly had such a good time.

ht the most incredible energy to the room. We only met a couple times, but Sami nailed the vibe we wanted for our reception and brought it to life perfectly. We told them that our group was not big on dancing, but you’d never know because the dance floor was packed the entire night. Sami is exactly who you’d want around the day of your wedding — kind, relaxed, professional, but knows how to get a party started and keep it going. If you want to have the time of your life, we very highly recommend booking DJ Sami for your event!

lively all night. We deeply appreciate the thoughtful structure Eun provided for the key moments, as well as their receptiveness to our request for a more ethereal DJ experience. The result was a flawlessly executed ceremony and reception that exceeded our highest expectations. If you're seeking a talented and keen DJ for your event, I cannot recommend Eun and Heart of Gold DJs highly enough. Cheers!

r music interests. Allison was very professional, helpful and friendly throughout the hiring process. We were matched with Dj Ray & we were not disappointed!! Dj knew all of the traditional music to play at our Mexican themed wedding! Our guests had a blast dancing! Dj Ray is clearly very talented and passionate about at what she does. She is also very professional and reliable. Highly recommend!

huge priority to us, and as our wedding was Studio 54 themed, we wanted to strike the tricky balance of on theme, but not too on theme. Pauline just GOT it, from the first meeting together we knew it was the perfect choice. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, and it felt like she was reading our minds for what we wanted to hear next. She wasn't afraid to stray away from basic, and catered (after about an hour of more family friendly tunes) mostly to us, which was perfect!! Can't recommend this company enough, especially DJ Pauline!!

asking all the right questions we weren't thinking of ourselves, and making the process super smooth. All of our friends and family were complimenting the music for days after and we had a blast.
